It was a week since Stevens traumatic experience with the Diamonds and him establishing peace. It's been a week since the corrupted gems have been healed. It's been a week since Lars was back on earth with the off clours. And it's been only three days since stevens beach house was repaired with a few little additons made by Bismuth and Peridot like a green house or that the settings in the warp pad now allow you to trevel even further than ever all the way to the diamonds palace. Not that he was anywhere near being eager to go back to them.
But it's also been only three days since following event happend

Steven was on his way to the big donut to get his traditional morning donut when he hears Amethyst calling out to him over.

"Jo Steven! Steven! Check this out Peridot is working on a new teleportation thing!" Amethyst excitedly calls out to steven before he walks past the barn that is now placed close to the beach.

"what?!" steven questions not believing his ears coming closer to peridot and amethyst that are standing at a table on the sand. Across the table layed a bunch of blueprints tools and what seemed to be a wristwatch made of some sort of blue and purple cristal

" This is what I want to call the Periporter 1.2" Peridot presented proudly the wristwatch that appears to have some sort of buttons on the side

"whoa cool how does it work !?" steven asks with stars in his eyes from excitement. Looking at peridot by this time pearl and garnet came to see what the yelling was about

"with these buttons you type in the coordinates" peridot explains eagerly pointing at a set of tiny green buttons  "with this blue switch you can control the exact place you will land on if you look at the screen it is made out of the same material as the warp pads that way it should have the same abilitys as the warp pad but lighter wo you can carry it with you!... but well this is just a prototipe and is nowhere near being usable" Peridot smiles looking at the stareyed child.

"but why would we need a new teleportation device if we already have the warp pad?"
  Pearl questions seeing not a point in a new teleportation device

"It's for the places that don't have any warp pads or only broken ones that need fixing or maybe even to the moonbase  I mean think of all the possibilities! We could travel anywhere in seconds without the trouble of the warp pads! " Peridot explains happily.

" so cool" steven mouthed with star eyes

"I think this is a bad Idea" Garnet states inspecting the device

" what!? why? It would be so useful!" Peridot defended her invention

"There are just to many things that could go wrong with this the risk is to high" Garnet resoned with Peridot

"But what if it doesn't go wrong! Peridot can do it I believe in her!" steven exclaims defensivly with a look of determination

"I agree with Garnet this is too dangerous" pearl puts in

"aww com' on P what could possibly go wrong?" Amethyst questions Pearl crossing her arms over her chest

"It could overload and explode, you could end up in the middle of space, you could get stranded on a different planet, you could loose your limps, you could land in an active Volcano,  or you end up in the air about to fall to your death and that are just a few things that could go wrong. Peridot I really think you shouldn't continue building the teleporter. We should destroy it " Garnet resoned

" But, but, but... " Peridit mutters baffled about all the terrible outcomes her invention could have

" no buts, it's for the best" Garnet instructs

"fine" Peridot frowned looking down at all her blueprints and calculations she has done for this. Thinking of how much time energie and effort she put into it.

With a heavy heart Peridot put her first and probably last prototype of the Periporter into a cardboard box and handed it to Garnet.

Garnet took the box and started to make her way back to the beach house when steven called out:

"Garnet wait!!!"

"steven it has to be done please understand this is too dangerous to have around." Garnet explained kneeling down to his eye level

"but peridot worked so hard on it isn't there a chance it will work without a problem? " steven questioned looking at garnet

" steven you must understand that I am not doing this to hurt Peridots feelings or that I don't trust her, but there are just to many risks to keep it around, it must be destroyed " Garnet clarifys looking at Peridot and steven and giving amethyst a glance which is sitting on the sand looking disappointed and being strangely quiet for the conversation.

"fine" steven mumbled sadly looking down at the floor.

"Good I will go and destroy this for now do not search for it" Garnet informs them before turning around and walking to the warp pad in the beach house.

" And steven!" Garnet turns around at the front door to get stevens attention

"Yeah?!" steven calls out

"I love you!!!" she shouts back at him before entering the house

"aww" steven smiles a little before turning around seeing Peridot about to cry while beeing hugged by Amethyst.

Not hesitating steven joined into the hug to comfort Peridot.

That was three days ago.

Which more or less leads us to the situation we have here right now.

Everyone is yelling. A bunch of brocken shards from the wrist watch and the wristwatch itself are laying on the floor by the front door Garnet is hugging Steven like he might just disappear if she let go of him. Steven accepting the hug while eating a donut not really knowing what else to do. Pearl scolding Lapis. Amethyst sitting on the floor with Popcorn. Peridot hugging Lapis. And Lapis being utterly confused to what is going on and why Pearl and Garnet are freaking out about the wristwatch.

You might wonder what is going on? what happend? Well Garnet destroyed the Periporter as good as she could and threw them to the bottom of the ocean where she knew it would be safe. Only there was one tiny little problem even Garnet didn't see coming. What could that have been?

A bunch of dolphins found the shards and ate them. These dolphins were washed up on a little island close to beach city due to the shards messing with they're body funktions. Lapis lazuli found these poor things on her morning flight and decided to see if she could help them. She discovered the shards and the watch, which sparked every now and then, that the dolphins spat out. Lapis wasn't sure what this watch was but it seemed familiar like she saw it before. Nevertheless she decided to bubble it for safty measure and helped the dolphins back to the water.

Maybe Peridot could help her figure out what to do with it. The gem thought to herself. Just a second later Lazily noticed some dark storm clouds that started to cloud the sky. In a mather of minutes Lapis arrived back at beach city with the bubble but so did the storm clouds.

Lapit went to the barn only to find it empty. Knowing Peridot she must have went to steven. Which is why she went to the nice beachhouse.

What Lapis didn't expect however was the sword that almost stabbed her when she opend the door however from the shook the bubble popped and everything was now scattered on the floor breaking the watch just a tiny bit more.

"heh sorry lapis are you okey?" steven and Peridot came running to her concerned that she might got hurt.

" no no I am fine what the hell where you doing anyways?" lapis questions baffeld.

" I was trying to make the swort fly to see if I could make it fight for me but it didn't quite work so well " Peridot admitted sheepishly looking at the floor. Then she gasped " where did you find my Periporter!? "

" your what?" lapis questioned lost in what peridot was talking about

" my teleporter the one I told you about the one that the Garnet took! I told you how th- " Peridot started ranting but was interupted by loud thunder.

A moment later Pearl came into the room and spotted the broken cristal pieces on the floor. After Lapis quickly explained where she found them Pearl went on to scold her for bringing dangerous things like this to the house. Peridot tryed to defend Lapis which in the end just turned into a hug. In the middle of this Garnet came in with donuts for steven and amethyst noticing the shards however she paniked and went to hug steven for safety he assumed. Amethyst which woke up from a little slumber on the couch due to all the noise decided to just watch th spectacle play out.

In all the caos no one noticed pumpkin that strated playing with the shards

"pumpkin NO!" steven yelled jumping out of Garnets arms and running to the living gourd loosing one of his sandals in the process.

"steven no!" Garnet yelled out suprised at his strength

Steven picked Pumpkin up but let him go quickly as in that exact moment lightning struck the house. Suprised to the sudden lout noise steven took a step back and stepped on the watch.

Garnet watched with horror written all over her face as a big flash of light erupted and a hole of light formed below steven. In a mather of seconds steven and the light hole were gone and the watch blew up in a tiny explosion.

"STEVEN!!!" everyone yelled in unison  shooked Garnet started crying picking up the sandal. Everyone else was shocked nobody dared to even move for a minute hoping he would be back if they all just stayed where they are or that they might wake up from a nightmare any second now.

But Garnet knew it wasn't. Garnet knew this was real. Garnet knew steven was lost. She knew she had failed him. She failed to save her beloved little steven. And now they might never see him again. She saw his future all the beautyfull possibilities that could have been and now they would never be. Now she doesn't know whats going to happen to him and it's killing her.
