(Inko's pov)

He got into U.A. My baby is going to be a hero. That has been his dream for years. Now it has finally come true. I am happy for him really. But I am still worried. What if something bad happens. I had no idea he had a quirk or what it was. So I was really scared. 

But now that I think about it, I haven't been the best Mother to him. What I said to him all those years ago must have affected him so much. He never brought it up but I am sure he remembers and he was upset.

I have to make it up to him. He is out training right now so I can take this opportunity. I make my way into his room and look for a certain item. Once I find it I slip on my shoes and head over to the store. Once there I pick up what I need and head back home.

I go into my room and pull out a certain box that has been there for ages. I open it to find... My old sewing machine. I haven't used this thing in ages. I pull the material out of my bag and get to work. 

After cutting and sewing and dropping my thimble multiple times I am almost there.

I here Izuku come home and I put down my needle to see him.

"Good evening son. How was your day?"

"Great! I've never been better!"

"And tomorrow is your first day at school."

"Yeah. It is." I feel like I'm going to cry. He looks so mature. I know he is 15 but he is still my baby.

"Dinner is already done. I covered it up for you."

"Thanks, Mom!"

He is still my baby. And I love him so much. I head back to my room to continue sewing. 

The next day

"Mom I don't wanna be late."

"Izuku!"

"What?"

I pause a little bit before saying with a smile on my face "I'm really proud of you son."

After Izuku leaves I head back to my room to continue my work. If I work fast enough I can give it to him by the end of the day! I hope he likes it. Oops! I stopped paying attention and the thread in the machine seemed to tangle up in the bobbin again. Great. May need a little more time.

A few hours later

I am finished! I have successfully made it! and before school ends. I fold up the garment and place it neatly into the gift bag I had prepared. Just then I hear Izuku come in. I rush out to meet him with the bag in my hand. 

"Izuku I have something for you! Ta-Da!" I say as I pull the Hero costume I had been working on out of the bag.

"I may have peeked at your notebook." He looked surprised, to say the least. He held the costume in his hand with a bright smile on his face.

"I said something in the past that I think may have discouraged you a little. I made it look like I don't want to support you. But I just want you to know I am rooting for you all the way!"

I told him what I thought. I have never seen Izuku look so happy before. I am so proud of him. I made a special dinner just to celebrate him getting into the school of his dreams.

"Mom."

I look up from my plate and look at my son. "Yes dear? What is it?"

"I wanted to say thank you so much for the costume. And for all your support. I really appreciate it."

"It's ok honey. I just feel bad. I feel like I couldn't be a good mom to you. I wasn't strong enough."

"Mom please don't say that!" 

I look up at him with tears in my eyes.

"You are the strongest person I know mom."

"Oh, Izuku. I am such a crybaby. How can I be the strongest person you know?" I say while wiping the tears from my eyes.

"Mom you raised me on your own. If it weren't for you I wouldn't be the person I am today! Please don't say that Mom. I love you very much."

"I love you too."

My baby really is growing up.

"Anyway, It's gonna be really hard to deal with Kacchan for the next couple of years."

"Yeah."

Wait.

"KATSUKI IS IN YOUR CLASS!!!!!!"

So what did you guys think? Good? Bad? Nada? I sort of forgot exactly what Inko said during those scenes so I decided to add my own little twists to them. Ok and again thanks for reading my lame story. I just wanted to write it. Anyways Toodles! X3
