Daddy daughter talk
JiniaHasDaPen requested this. Hope you likey! It's a dad story because as previously mentioned no one really cares for the dads of bnha as much as they do the moms.
Shota Aizawa aka pro hero Erasurehead sat in his room not doing anything at all. He was constantly watching the time. Waiting and watching as the alarm clock on the table made time slow down.
"Papa? Are you okay in here?" Eri entered the room obviously concerned as he just kept watching the time. She had been living with him since he decided to adopt her. She had thus picked up the habit of calling him, Papa.
"I'm okay. What about you though. Are you okay?"
She felt a bit nervous. She was going to her first day of primary school. She had just turned 10 and wanted to try. So naturally, Aizawa got her into a good school.
The time was 4:30 in the morning and they were both nervous. This was like the time Aizawa had to meet Shinsou's real parents for the first time. Absolutely nerve-wracking.
"Why don't you come in here, Eri-Chan. You can wait in here with me." The girl smiled, closed the door and skipped over to the bed.
Because of her small size, she could still climb up onto his lap and sit there no problem. He doesn't really seem to mind.
"Papa?"
"Hm?" He answered still looking a the clock.
"Do you think the people there will really like me?"
"What makes you say that?"
"I'm just worried that they may. You know. Not like me or think I'm weird or something."
Aizawa took his eyes off the clock and lifted little Eri off his lap placing her down on the bed next to him gently.
"You don't have to worry about that. You aren't going to school to make friends. You are going to learn." Tears started forming in her eyes. She still trie to hold back her sobs though.
"However." He continued. "You can make friends. There is no rule against that. Just make sure you choose them carefully. Make friends who won't leave you behind or cause you to mess up. You got that?" This time she didn't even try to hold back her sobs. she burst into tears and hugged Aizawa as tightly as her little arms could.
"Thank you for telling me that." She sobbed.
"It's alright kiddo." He said hugging her back.
"Will you come in with me first though. I don't want to be all alone. Especially on my first day."
"I can go in with you. But you are a very brave girl. You can make it through the class on your own. I know you can."
She smiled and let go of the hug.
"Thank you, Papa. That made me happy." Aizawa smiled at her and gave her a kiss on her for head next to her horn.
"You really are one of the best things to ever happen to me, Eri."
