Izumi knows you're fully allowed weapons, but the group of five since Ochaco had to do a lot of catching up to the four making her to do the same thing as them and won against the Ender Dragon the same amount of times they did making them to support her through it all.

Miruko likes it as she looks ready and Gunhead agrees to take Ochaco on after seeing her style and the training she did with Miruko to be ready for him really. Ochaco had a small meeting with him and shows what she can do and what he needs to fix.

Izumi politely refuses as she has someone in mind and had Miruko to take Katsuki on than Best Jeans making her to agree as he's the worst for Katsuki really making Katsuki to shiver when he meets him and hides behind Izumi making Miruko to explain for him.

Best Jeans agrees and hands a book to allow Katsuki to do it himself making him to accept the book and then Izumi killed a government member as they had a bottle of something and a cloth making Best Jeans to know what it was and had his Agency to baby-sit them.

They sneaked out and got back home as this is not a good thing making Nezu to up the security cause of this making many to not like the government at all for that even if it was live or made public really. Izumi so wants to arson or TNT the place for this.

Miruko agrees, but managed to let her go up against a horde of zombie mobs making her to enjoy removing them from the world really making Katsuki, Fumikage, Shoto and Ochaco to follow her making them to have fun really with killing them all.

Thank to Miruko's training, Ochaco is going to be killing butt out there making the four to tease her about that as she might lose to either one of them really. Ochaco knows she'll win and it'll be thanks to them and Miruko really for helping her out.

Izumi wonders how it's going to be as she doesn't need to be first place to prove herself making them to agree as they got ready and knows only one weapon is allowed making Izumi to go for her bow and arrows, but not the TNT ones as that's not allowed.

Izumi was nervous as she doesn't know how'll she'll even handle the festival as she wouldn't be having a good idea of sneaking her chichi in which her kaa-san did that herself really. Just how smart is her kaa-san to sneak him on with the Bakugou family to watch the whole thing?

It was make her to be confused as she can sense them all in the stands really making herself to tell the others as both Hawks and Touya are there as well, too making Shoto and Fumikage to blush really. She'll be on the look out for Endeavour to keep Shoto safe.

Touya like to avoid that if possible really as Shoto has panic attacks and flash backs if that stupid bastard is mentioned or is around him really. Izumi worries as Shoto shouldn't be having those kind of things happening to him and Fumikage is going to be helping out really.

Bakugou and Ochaco are helping set the place up as there's more floating cameras and medical robots to 'steal' competitors if injuried making Izumi to hold in her laughter at that one really as Bakugou smirks at that one really. Shoto had a small grin on his face at that one really.

He fully hates that old man, but he is happy where he is now making both Hawks and Touya to smile as they kept good care of him and Fumikage really. Touya did explain their point of view and how he knew the whole time what Endeavour was going to do really.

Which was why he was trying to kill him when he saw him to keep it from happening making Shoto to forgive him making the brothers to be happy with each other as All For One gave Touya a Ice Quirk to help balance his body which Eri has helped heal him up to handle it much better.

The Ice Quirk was called Winter Ultima making him to have wolf ears and tail which Hawks fully didn't mind as they are fluffy making him to be punished in bed for that one. All For One found an Reality Alteration Quirk and gave Hawks the ability to have children with Touya.

Both were happy with this gift really as Izumi can't wait to see them as Fumikage had asked Asui on a date and she accepts while Shoto asked Yaoyarozu out who accepted his date offer making him to be happy. Bakugou knows he'll find the right one for him, but he hears Present Mic's voice over the speakers.

"It's U.A's sports festival! The one time each year when our fledgling heroes compete in a ruthless grand battle! Friends turn into enemies as each student competes against each other to earn that top spot! First up, we start with this year' cream of the crop!

Yeah! You know who I'm talkin' about! The miraculous rising stars who brushed off a villain attack with their steely willpower! Bring in the first years of the hero course!" They started walking out into the light, being momentarily deafened by the cheers, but Present Mic's voice still managed to make itself heard above the roar.

"It's class 1-A!" Izumi wanted to curl up as she saw how the cameras were focused on them, that the people were all looking at her class, still at least they probably wouldn't pay too much attention to her.

Present Mic called out a brief introduction for the other hero class and then the general studies, support students and the business course students. All the students gathered up in the center and Midnight cracked her whip.

"Now for the athlete's oath!" Her eye twitched as the students started talking.

"Shut it!" She snapped, cracking her whip again.

"Your student representative this year is... Shigiraki Izumi, of Class 1-A."

"It must be because she placed first in the entrance exam." Sero said. A girl from one of the other classes scoffed.

"The hero course entrance exam, you mean." Izumi walks up the mic and she can tell her family is shocked she got first place really.

"The athlete's oath..." Izumi started, hands in her pockets.

"Make no mistake about it, everyone has their own shares of weaknesses and strengths, but what it truly takes to be a Hero is the guts to face death down in the face and shout straight at them very loudly:

FUCK OFF, MOTHER FUCKER! I'M AIN'T DYING HERE TODAY! Many could never do it cause they were scared of death, but it's really alright to be scared of death. We're all fully human beings and we have every single right to be scared of dying one day.

It's common, but we need to show how strong we have come from times when we are scared and fully prove we are brave no matter what really. All of us here are going to prove that our private training we have been doing by our Pro-Hero teachers are going to help us into the bright future.

As long as no one half-ass it, they can still prove themselves to many Heroes here and watching on t.v what we are made of and still get noticed. Thank you. Oh! And... IT'S NOT 'GO BEYOND PLUS ULTRA'! IT'S 'EXCELSIOR'!"

'Here we go.' Shoto, Fumikage, Ochaco and Katsuki thinks as they count down from three.

"WHAT?!" That saying has the whole competitors freaking as they all do need to go 'Even Higher' or 'Ever Upwards' making them to learn some new tricks for training really as dear Eraserhead smirks.

"If no one knows what 'excelsior' means, it means to 'Even Higher' or 'Ever Upwards'. So, Izumi is telling her competitors to go beyond Plus Ultra which is Pro-Hero and go to 'Excelsior' which is Legend ranking really. No one can go that far. Not even All Might."

"Wow, Class 1-A seems to have a real piece of work as their five top students." A male voice commented, having appeared next to her after she had walked back to her classmates.

"Kaachan can be difficult, but us five are much more different. Don't think you can win really, Monoma-kun." Izumi answered.

"What are you doing here?" Ochaco asked, narrowing her eyes. Izumi blinked, wondering where the sudden hostility from her was coming from, looking around she noticed quite a few of her other classmates were glaring at him. The blonde smirked.

"I just came to tell my rival that she better not lose in the first round."

"Same to you, Monoma-kun." Izumi replied. Monoma laughed as he actually enjoys Izumi's company really.

"As if I would!" With that, the 1-B student walked off, just as a girl with orange hair started to make her way over. Izumi and Monoma got along a bit as she helps him out with some school work and how to better use the Quirks he copies with new moves he can think of only.

It caused their friendship, but they only see it as a friendly-rival bonding time really which Izumi doesn't mind as it's nice to have one and Monoma seems to be having a hard time with his Quirk making her to help him train and to figure out.

She also helped him figure out which weapon he wants to use to help him if he can't touch his opponent really. She even testes his Quirk on a Evoker and it seems he can summon Vexes making them to be confused and had Nezu's help for this one really and it's still confusing.

"Now! Without any delay, let's get the first event started." Ochaco sweat dropped and muttered.

"Everything at U.A.'s without delay."

"These are the qualifiers! It's in this stage that so many are sent home crying every year, and I can't wait to see their anguished faces when they realize that they couldn't even make it past the qualifier. The fateful first event for this year is..." The screen seemed to blur as it spun through options.

"This!" Midnight cheered, not looking back at the screen as she continued.

"The obstacle course is a race between every member of all eleven classes! And with each class holding about 20 students that's 220 students competing in a four kilometer lap around the stadium itself! We here at UA pride ourselves on allowing our kids their freedom. Which means..." Midnight chuckled.

"So long as you don't go off the course, anything is fair game."

"She said anything, but I doubt that includes murder." A student from another class commented.

"And to all students, there will be mobs added to show case your swordsmanship or archery skills and you are allowed only ten shields max to use to block attacks from the mobs as it'll be only Overworld Mobs max!" Izumi smirks as she's the queen in that field really. The light drifted down to one and then it went off.

"GO!" Midnight cried out, cracking her whip as the students charged forward, but the starting gate was too narrow. Izumi looked forward as far as she could and saw Shoto was up close to the front making her to sneaks towards him as she knows he's up to something.

Eyes widening, she realized what her classmate was planning to do and as she felt the air drop temperature, she jumped up using another student as a bit of a climbing tool as she kept herself off the ground while it froze over.

"Erasure-man! Are you ready for our live coverage and commentary?" Present Mic's voice floated from the speakers.

"Not voluntarily..." Aizawa responded, his voice barely picked up. Izumi was pretty sure she remembered something about a bet being mentioned.

"And it seems that class 1-A is pulling into the front with Todoroki freezing most of the competition into place. It gains them a short lead- Oh! That looked painful, seems the first obstacle found them as one of the iron golems flicked Minoru away!"

"He should have been paying more attention to his surroundings."

"How very true! Hopefully he remembers this lesson to never let your guard down! But of course, every obstacle course needs obstacles! Starting with the first barrier. MOB INFERNO! This obstacle includes maybe 9 or 10 rare Overworld mobs and a ton of common mobs.

The kids who took the hero course entrance exam may remember these." Izumi ran forward, even as she listened to the commentary, she was closer to the front of the pack then the middle, but that didn't mean she had a clear view of what was happening.

Which meant that hearing Present Mic's commentary of "1-A's Todoroki takes the lead! Busting through and sabotaging the others in one move, this guy's cold." Izumi looked around, eyes trying to take in everything she might be able to use, after all she couldn't use OFA in this very moment and her Butterfly Quirk wasn't useful against Mobs.

Izumi had to shoot at a lot of mobs and she gains their experiences since she is closer to them and the school can't take them away from her since she earned them fair and square really which Nezu agrees to and made it a rule when dealing with Mobs at UA. 

"But of course the rest of his class isn't too far behind him!" Present Mic cheered. Izumi grabbed a crafting box and crafted a shield as she used it to block the explosions making her to have fifty made to be on the safe side.

"Class 1-A knows that there is no time to waste hesitating. Unlike the other students who let fear overcome them, they know to push forward. It's logical after what they faced, they've had that fear before. They endured it. Overcome it. Each has grown from that experience and forgotten how to hesitate." Soon most of class 1-A was arriving at the second obstacle.

"While most of the students are still struggling to get past the first obstacle, the leaders of the pack have arrived at the second! If you thought the first barrier was a piece of cake... How about the second?! Fall and you're out!

Done! No longer allowed to participate! Get across anyway you can, but if you don't have any special tricks, I recommend you crawl! This is... THE FALL! Vexes and Phantoms will try to knock you down!" Izumi saw that Hagakure and Ashido seemed to have paused while another girl with pink hair was in the air.

"Why'd those idiot's stop moving..." Aizawa commented, an annoyed tone in his voice.

"EEP!" Ashido squeaked and started moving forward, Hagakure moving as well.

"The leads keep breaking ahead while the rest of the pack is starting to catch up at the second obstacle!" Izumi listened as she crawled along the ropes, knowing that no matter how much her hands burned, she had to keep pushing forward.

She saw a lot of Vexes and Phantoms making her to be careful and still avoid them as she noticed they seem to be leaving her along for the most part with only two or three of each attacking her making her to wonder why as she saw they weren't attacking her, but protecting her from the others.

The Vexes look purple with black markings all over their bodies while the Phantoms looked like how her wings look, but no monarch butterfly colors making Izumi to wonder why as she looks around and then notices a small portal with two glowing white eyes before it vanished.

'Maybe I wasn't suppose to see them really?' Present Mic spoke of the minefield as Izumi had finally finished climbing the ropes and she made it to the minefield as the six mobs dealt with their 'cousins' as it's the only think she can think of.

Her brain rushed for a way to catch up with the wide gap that was between her and the front. Quickly she started digging up the mines. She knows she promised Recovery Girl she'll be careful since she did a full medical check-up on her for Miruko and warns her to not over use her two Quirks so much while training really.

"Forgive me, Recovery Girl." Izumi murmured as she jumped up into the air. Moving the piece of robot metal underneath her as she landed on top of the pile of mines she had made. All six adults were shocked at what she did as they had the Spyglass and saw what she did.

"A giant explosion from behind?! What caused such a blast? An accident? Or was it fully international?! AND LOOK AT THE CAMERA'S! Class 1-A's Shigiraki rides the explosions in hot pursuit of Todoroki and Bakugou!

This is the exact type of upset the mass media likes! Urakaka and our very Hawk's own follow bird, Takami-Todoroki is right behind her!" She was going to land right about equal to them, she wouldn't be able to pass them up again if she couldn't maintain the lead... But... Did she want to take first place?

"I don't want the attention, I just want to save people." Izumi had told All Might. The hero had understood and pointed out that Izumi was probably looking more for being an underground hero. She didn't need to win first place.

"And Shigiraki blows off the competition with no time to lose! Your class really is something else Eraserhead! I'm sure the audience would like to know exactly what you're teaching these kids!?" Izumi let go of the piece of metal she had been using, causing it to be a slight distraction for Katsuki and Shoto as she stumbled her landing.

Her leg almost giving out from underneath her. Keeping her eyes peeled, she ran with Shoto and Katsuki right next to her as Ochaco and Fumikage is behind the three, but they quickly pushed past her as they gave up subtleties which Izumi was fine with as she doesn't need first place really.

"This isn't my doing. They've been spurring each other on all their own." Izumi used the ice path Todoroki made to race right behind them.

"Well, who could have predicted such an incredible turn of events so early on? Now I wonder who- The one who made it back to the stadium first is... TODOROKI SHOTO!" Izumi finished right behind Katsuki and she was now in third place.

"Uraraka Ochaco and Takami-Todoroki Fumikage are in fourth and fifth place! Holy Cow! Never mess with them, folks!"

"Izumi!" Ochaco called out.

"That was awesome! Third place girl, I'm jealous!"

"To lose a race... Of all things... With my Quirk... It's clear I still have progress to make." Iida groaned in a shocked stupor. Izumi gave a hesitant shrug.

"The top 42 will move on from this qualifying round! But for those who placed lower, don't worry we've got another way for you to show your stuff. But now... the main selection really begins! The press corp's going to be jumping out of their seats, so give it all you've got!

But... It's time for the second event, I, of course, already know what it is... But... Aren't you kiddo's dying in suspense? Prepare yourselves for... THE CAVALRY BATTLE!" Midnight proceed to explain how the cavalry battle would work, with it being teams of 2-4 with the goal being to get the most points, as the headbands would have a numerical volume. The surprise? The first place winner would have ten million points.

"You have 15 minutes to form teams." Izumi quickly went to one person whose quirk she knew would be perfect, both for offense and defense. She went to Fumikage who seems to be fully standing apart from everyone else.

"Yes, Izumi?"

"Would you and Dark Shadow be on my team?" Fumikage looked at her before bobbing his head.

"We would be pleased."

"Izumi!" Ochaco called out.

"Can I be part of your team?"

"Sure, now we just need one more person... And I have an idea." Looking around, she spotted Monoma and she went over.

"Monoma, would you join my team?"

"We're rivals though."

"Which means we should both make it to the finals."

"You got a plan, Midoriya?"

"Yes, your quirk would guarantee us a spot in the finals."

"Of course it would." Monoma stated. Monoma looked at her for a moment, but then nodded.

"I'll join, on one condition." After agreeing, the team registered with Monoma as the rider so he could have the most reach. They had a total of 550 points. The rest of the time was planning out strategies and Monoma informed them he could copy three quirks, but could only use one at a time.

Tokoyami informed them that Dark Shadow was weak to light and Ochaco said that she got sick if she used her quirk on herself, but the good thing was they had Monoma, so the plan was to make all of them weightless without either becoming nauseous.

They would start with Monoma using Dark Shadow though and use the two shadows to grab as many headbands as they could, even the ten million if one of the shadows could snag it, once they had a decent amount.

Then they would use Ochaco's quirk to float in the air avoiding everyone they could. Izumi would use her butterfly wings on the others who was a threat by blowing them away. Like if they could get close to Shoto, Izumi would hit him with her attacks making Monoma to laugh.

"Alright the fifteen minutes are up!" Everyone got into position.

"Three!"

"Two!"

"One!"

"START!" Immediately, things turned frantic as everyone charged at Shoto, trying to get that ten million points. Izumi could immediately see the two shadows getting to work on snagging a few headbands.

"This is really a fight for the ten million and everyone knows it!" A guy with grey hair shouted.

"We're coming for you, Todoroki!" Hagakure shouted. Izumi frowned, sure getting the ten million would guarantee your spot in first place, but it was better to aim for second or third by getting more points.

"And the cavalry battle has begun! It seems that most teams have started a mad dash towards team Todoroki! But the team avoids them with a wall of ice! Looks like team Todoroki is keeping defensive for the moment!"

"It would do the teams well to remember to keep an eye on their headbands, it seems that in the starting commotion someone has already grabbed a hold of a few." Aizawa muttered.

"Right! Oh, would you look at it, team Monoma has quite a few headbands! With what looks like two of the same quirks they look to be a very powerful team!" Present Mic announced.

"It seems that the teams had only now noticing that their headbands are missing, they shouldn't have had to have it pointed out to them." Present Mic said, a slight mocking tone to his voice.

"With everyone scrambling for headbands, it's not just the ten million out there! Those other high rankers are worth a shot as well!"

"Wah?! Is that legal?!" Kaminari's voice called out somewhere across the battlefield.

"Sure is!" Midnight's voice responded.

"It seems that Team Minoru has quite a strategy, with only one horse and the rider being fully hidden in Shoji's arms!" Mic announced.

"They use their members' varying sizes to form less of a horse and more of a tank! It seems to be a decent strategy for this first part, but we will find out at the end if it was a winning strategy... As of right now, with only three minutes having passed, it's still anybody's game!

Who's going to be part of the top four teams to advanced into the finals?!" Izumi on Monoma's prompting, hits a guy as she let's Monoma go and used Silver Wind at him all while using her Psychic on it to hit not only him, but his teammates onto the ground which was making Monoma to laugh before Dark Shadow took their headband.

"Woah! It looks like Bakugou took a flying leap at team Todoroki in order to get a view above the ice wall Todoroki has created! Is leaving your unit really allowed?!" Present Mic asked as Midnight's voice confirmed it from the arena.

"It is here, on a technicality! As long as your feet don't touch the ground. And since a leader was knocked to the ground, his whole team was disqualified." Izumi hides her laughter as this is fun making her to see her team's shocked faces while Monoma is amused really.

He was the one to give her the idea of using the Bug-Type moves with her wings making her to love them greatly and still finding ways to use them all and she's having fun with it. Monoma can't stop laughing cause of this really as many think he's got mad or crazy.

"Are we good on headbands?" Ochaco asked after getting out of it.

"We have 5 or 6, so yes."

"Shall we take to the air before the prey turn into the predators?" Fumikage questioned.

"Let's." Monoma agreed. His hand hitting Ochaco and Fumikage. Izumi who was at the front got touched by Ochaco as she also hit Monoma with her quirk. With a push, the team started floating in the air as they were weightless.

"It seems that Team Mononma has started floating away! How will anybody be able to reach them? With seven minutes having passed, let's take a look at the current points! Oooh? Now wait just a moment! Besides team Todoroki and Team Monoma which is made of a majority of class A, the rest of class A's not looking so hot! What happened to Bakugou?" Monoma chuckled.

"Too simple really!" Katsuki's head snapped to where they floated, a good 70 or so feet above.

"You were so focused on the ten million, you didn't even notice when we took your headband. Of course... You don't seem like the type to notice the larger picture. After all when Midnight announced the first event, it didn't take a genius to realize they wouldn't be thinning our numbers that much in a preliminary.

It wasn't much of a stretch to imagine they'd be letting a good number of us advance to the next event. Forty or so seemed reasonable. It was the perfect chance to hang back and observe our soon to be rivals and potential teammates' quirks and tendencies. So it's only fair that we ended up placing more modestly."

"Your whole class was in on it?" Kirishima questioned.

"Well not everyone, but that wouldn't have been a bad idea... Instead of aiming for some fleeting first place, like a horse going for a dangling carrot." Monoma taunted Bakugou as he smirks.

"Ah, but you're already a celebrity, aren't you? The victim of that sludge incident! I'll have to ask you sometime... How does it feel to get attacked by villains on an annual basis?" Izumi was fully shocked as this is a first for her to even hear about this really.

"Wait a second! Say fucking what?!" Izumi was soo shocked she glares at Katsuki after turning to Monoma shocked who nods making her to be very pissed off.

"KACCHAN! WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T YOU FUCKING TELL ME THIS?!" Izumi was pissed making Katsuki to flinch as this was before he and his family moved making Izumi to be so very pissed at him until her anger is fully gone.

"Use that anger on the other teams, Bakugou. We can't get to them up there!" Kirishima said. Katsuki growled, but he and his team turned away, determined to get headbands from one of the few remaining teams which were mostly class B teams.

Monoma's condition was that they target 1-A kids first. Izumi agreed since she knew their quirks and was better prepared to face off against them than class 1-B really. Others who lost their headbands were focusing on Todoroki, desperate to get the ten million.

"Indiscriminate shock!" Kaminari called out.

"Yaoyorozu!" Shoto called out sharply.

"It seems that in the desperation Kaminari fried his own teammates and most of the other competitors, but team Todoroki created an insulator sheet in time to protect themselves from the shock!"

"And Todoroki is using this to his advantage to freeze the competitors in place." Aizawa added.

"Do we want to take the ten million?" Monoma questioned in the air.

"It would give those who watch something interesting."

"But we risk losing our points, right now we're in second and guaranteed to move on."

"We don't need a flashy win." Izumi Said as a flashly win isn't the right move really.

"You're right, in fact, it's probably smarter long term to conserve our energy." Ochaco agreed. So as the time ticked down they stayed floating in the air. Keeping around 70 feet.

"With only a minute left, let's see how the points are. Team Todoroki is first with ten million points! Team Monoma is second with almost 3k points! Which leaves around a thousand points for the other teams to fight for!

Team Tetsutetsu- wait! It looks like Team Bakugou now has 520 points having snatched all points off of team Tetsutetsu, putting them in third place. And in fourth place is team Kendo with 310 points. And the last team with any points is... Team Shinso with 175 points!

With less than a minute left, will these be our top teams for this event? Time is running down! Everybody count down! 10!" The crowd joined in making a loud booming countdown.

"9!"

"8!" Izuku watched as Katsuki and his team made one last bid at the ten million, currently having enough points to pass in third place.

"7!"

"6!"

"5!"

"What the hell is Kendo doing?!" Monoma questioned. His arm pointed towards an orange haired girl who was handing her headband over to a purple haired boy who tied it around his neck.

"4!"

"3!"

"It looked like she handed her headband over."

"2!"

"Why?!"

"1! TIME'S UP! It's time for the final scores and in first place, having been able to remain a hold of the ten million the entire time is team Todoroki! In second place, having gotten the headbands early and then staying in the air out of reach is Team Monoma!

In third having had their points fluctuate the entire time is Team Bakugou, and finally in fourth, with a last minute rise in points is Team Shinso!" Izumi is so going to be careful around him as she will not be put under his Quirk as she figured it out and will warn Monoma about it really,

"We'll proceed to the afternoon portion after a one-hour lunch break! See you then!! Hey Eraserhead. Wanna grab some food?"

"I'm taking a nap." Was Aizawa's answer. They began to descend from the sky by Monoma releasing the quirk on Ochaco and Fumikage, giving them some weight, so they started dropping down. They landed and Ochaco released her quirk. Izumi pokes Monoma.

"I think she's was forced by a Quirk to hand her headband over really. No proof. Go ask her what had just happened." Monoma nods as it seems likely really and she's smart with Quirks really even if she chose to be mute.

"Should we get lunch together?" Ochaco asked. Monoma ignored her, already walking off. Izumi shrugged and the three went off to eat lunch. Izumi paused as he spotted some of the other girls coming over to Ochaco with a worried expression on their faces.

"Uraraka, Minoru and Kaminari just told us that all the girls have to wear cheerleading uniforms after lunch."

"What? Really?" Ochaco questioned.

"Yeah. Apparently Aizawa-sensei told them." Izumi frowned.

"That doesn't sound right."

"What do you mean, Shigaraki?" Yaoyarozu asked.

"Why would Aizawa-sensei tell Minoru and Kaminari, and not you or Iida, it's illogical to not tell the class president and vice president." Yaoyarozu nodded.

"You're right, Shigaraki. I think Minoru was trying to trick us." Jirou growled.

"I'm going to give that purple crap a piece of my mind!" With that declaration, Jirou stormed off, Ashido right behind her.

"Aw, I thought it might have been fun." Hagakure said with a whine.

"But we would have been embarrassing Aizawa-sensei and U.A." After another twenty or so minutes the lunch break was over and both Mic and Aizawa were back in the commenter booth.

"Before we get to the final event, I've got good news for all those out of the running! This is still a sports festival, so we've prepared a recreational activity for all participants. We've even shipped in cheerleaders from America to get you pumped up!" Yaoyorozu sighed in relief.

"Thank you so much, Shigaraki."

"No problem." She wrote giving a hesitant smile.

"Aww c'mon, Shigaraki. Why'd you have to ruin my fun?" Minoru whined.

"I hope everyone enjoys this little recreational competition. Once that's over, we're on to the final event. Between the 16 members of the four winning teams. We'll have a formal tournament! A series of one-on-one battles!"

"The matchups will be decided by drawing lots. Once that's settled, we'll move on to the festivities and then the tournament itself!" Midnight said holding a box.

"It's up to each of the 16 finalists whether or not you participate in the fun. I expect some of you would rather take a breather and save your strength. Now, let's start with the first-place team..."

"Um... Excuse me?" Ojirou interrupted, raising his hand.

"Yes?" Midnight asked, pointing her whip towards him.

"I'd like to drop out." A few kids gasped as everyone turned to look at him.

"Why?!" Ashido demanded.

"The cavalry battle... I have no memories of anything that happened until the tail end. It's probably his quirk that did it."

"Wasn't Ojirou teamed with the purple haired kid?" Ochaco asked.

"Yes, he was." Fumikage answered.

"I know this is a great opportunity. And I know how stupid it must seem to throw it away... But this final tournament everyone else made it here by their own strength. Yet I'm standing here, and I don't even know how or why. I just can't take it."

"I can't remember anything either.. I wanna withdraw too!" One of the other kids who was part of Team Shinso said.

"We have a strange turn of events as it seems two of the competitors wish to drop out!" Present Mic announced.

"What will the coordinator, Midnight, decide?"

"How naïve..." Midnight hummed for a moment.

"Turns me on, but no. Whether on your merits or not, you made it to the final sixteen and thus will compete."

"And it looks like Midnight has denied it. But that just means they have to make up for it, if they feel like they didn't deserve it, then these fights they can prove that they did deserve it!"

"And here are the matchups!" The list appeared revealing the first 8 fights.

"Hatsume Vs Ojiro, Sero vs Yaoyorozu, Monoma Vs Iida, Midoriya vs Ashido, Todoroki Vs Shinso, Shoda Vs Tokoyami, Uraraka vs Bakugou and finally Aoyama Vs Kirishima! Let's hope everyone enjoys the matches when they start!" Present Mic said to the crowd.

So, Izumi would be facing Ashido. She would have to figure out a strategy against her during the recreational competition. The kids soon separated, some choosing to do the festivities, others choosing to rest and prepare for the finals.

Izumi was one of the latter as she thought of what she knew of Ashido. Right now, she was limited to her Butterfly Quirk and One For All Quirk as she didn't want to risk breaking her bones and losing as Recovery Girl warned her about using her Quirks when her body can't handle it anymore cause of her training really.

All she knew was that some of the matches would definitely be worth watching. Izumi took a nap to get her energy up, not knowing two of three people saw her taking a nap and was fully watching her to keep others from touching her really as she's theirs.

'There is no way we are going to be letting anything hurt, touch or even kidnap our girl as they are dead then.'

AN: Hmm? Who is protecting our Butterfly Goddess I wonder? And who's the third one? You'll going to have to find out as even I don't know at this point of the story really. See you in the next chapter, folks!
