Laurance POV

I read the note out loud so Travis knew what it said. We heard rustling behind us so we turned around to see...

Two people, a girl and boy, standing at the door. They must be the people to help us and friends of Y/N and Ember.

"Hey there, my name is Max and this is Agate. Who are you and what are you doing here?" The male asked.

"Oh, hi. I am Laurance and this is Travis," I said pointing at Travis, "And we are friends of Y/N and Ember."

All of a sudden we heard a crashing sound coming from upstairs. We all went to investigate what caused the noise. Y/N could be in trouble!

Ember's POV

I was upstairs listening to the conversation the people were having downstairs and setting the cameras up. I accidentally dropped one of the cameras on my foot and I fell backwards into Y/N's room breaking the door down.

The people downstairs must of heard me falling because they came rushing upstairs to investigate.

Y/N on the other hand took this chance to escape because she knew I would be fine.

Your POV

After Ember broke the door down I took this chance to run. However I forgot there were stairs so I turned the corner and went flying down them but on my way down I fell into someone.

We landed with a big thud on the floor. I looked up to see who I had landed on and I saw a pair of ocean blue eyes but they weren't the ones I was familiar with. I had seen them before though. I then saw blond hair but it didn't belong to the shy guy I met the other day. I had seen that hair before though. I then noticed this individual had matching wolf ears on his head. I now knew who this was. It was Max Cub!

"Hey Y/N!" He said. I quickly got up off the floor and dusted myself off then held out my hand to help him up. He took my hand and held onto it a bit longer. I could hear a quiet growl from somewhere but didn't know where. I realised I was still holding his hand and quickly let go.

"Hey Max! And Agate is that really you?" I asked the smoking rim ghoul. She didn't really like people but we were best friends even though she doesn't like calling us that.

"Yeah it is me" she said trying to sound happy around the others. However she wasn't. I knew her past and what happened and only I will ever know unless she wants to share it with someone then she can.

"Oh yeah, by the way Y/N Agate is moving in to our house and Max is moving in the house opposite!" Ember said with a huge grin on her face. I smiled a huge smile to know that two of my closest friends were gonna be in my life. I went to hug Agate but remembered she doesn't like physical contact so I stopped half way through.

"We should celebrate this moment of Y/N being free from her room, Ember and Y/N reuniting with there friends and everyone new joining the neighbourhood by going to OLIVE GARDEN!" Laurance yelled.

"And why would we do that? We just met you today!" Max said bitterly.

"Max it is fine I know him and he is cool. So I'm going. Ya coming Ember, Agate?"

"Sure!" Ember said ecstatically. "If there is cola I guess I will be ok with it" Agate replied.

"Max~?" I asked slyly.

"FINE! Only because I don't trust you around him!" Max said protectively. That was strange he had never done that before.

"Great see you guys at 6:00?" Laurance asked.

"Sounds cool" I replied.

"Oh and the others are coming as well. Bye~!" Travis shouted as the duo left.

Max left after them to unpack and get ready for tonight. Whilst the girls and I unpacked Agates stuff and got ready ourselves.
