Background: Son of Kit Taylor, the former Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, Kevin is the current wielder of the Onyx Deck, making him the current Kamen Rider Onyx. Kevin was born 10 years ago after the death of Xaviax and his father met his mother, eventually getting the two to be married and had him in the process. Growing up, Kevin had a relatively normal life until an incident happened that caused him to literally fall into the mirror world. This causes Kevin to encounter Mirror Monsters and forces him to flee for his life. This was when a mysterious Card Deck appeared before him and suddenly, he's being chase by another monster which turns out to be the Dragblacker.

Still running for his life, he's able to escape the mirror would and end up in a park. Unfortunately, the mirror monsters followed after and came out to kill him. However, Kevin's father came in just in time and saved his son from being killed as Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. But there was still Dragblacker to worry about as even with Kit's own contract monster, the wild mirror monster still proved to be a problem. That was when Kevin pulled out the blank Card Deck and, in a trance, his pulled out the contract card and held it up at the Dragblacker. Soon the monster entered into Kevin and the Card Deck changed, making him the new Kamen Rider Onyx.

In the aftermath, Kevin confronted his father who was shocked to see him de-transform and demanded answers. Faced with no choice, Kit explained that he was a Kamen Rider and the events that happened. With his mother joining them since she was aware of her husband's past, Kit told his son about Xaviax, Ventara, the Card Decks, the friends he's made, and the battles that happened that could've led to the end of their world before it was saved. Obviously, Kevin was shocked and angry at first for his father to keep such a secret from him but thanks to his mother, he didn't hold it against him.

Due to Kevin forging a contract with the Dragblacker, the monster had bonded with him and made him to new Kamen Rider Onyx. Kit was still shocked to know that his son was now a Kamen Rider as he wanted his child to live a normal life. But with the contract monster he made, he knows that next to impossible. As such, Kit gave Kevin the V Buckle and began training his son on how to be a Kamen Rider. Surprisingly, Kevin was a fast learner as he learned how to transform and use the abilities of Onyx.

After a few years of training and killing some Mirror Monsters, Kevin has mastered his abilities and is ready to take on the world as Kamen Rider Onyx.

Personality: Mostly like his father, Kevin is a brave and fairly easygoing individual, being firm in his moral compass, even when faced with uncertainty. Of course, like most teenagers his age, he can struggle with negative emotions, sometimes making mistakes but eventually learning from them. Due to his father's training and life lessons, Kevin is known for being noble and cares deeply for others. Though some might mistake this as a form of weakness, Kevin sees it as the source of his strenght to keep fighting for a just cause.
