After the Neo Zangyack attempts to destroy the Gokaigers, all hope is lost until their history teacher steps up and saves the day, giving them the winning key to defeating the sentai monster. Now, with the Gokaigers recovering from the attack, the battle for Earth continues.

U.A Academy

In U.A Academy, Nezu was seen in the meeting room with the other heroes and Kurose-Sensei. All of them discussed the incident that happened yesterday and also talked about the Sports Festival.

Nezu: Before we talk about the U.A. Sports Festival, I want to talk about the elephant in the room.

Everyone turned towards Kurose-Sensei who was sighing and a bit worried as he knew his sister was going to be in this meeting.

Nezu: Kurose-Sensei I did all I could to calm your sister down but she was adamant wanting to talk to you about the stunt you pulled even though it led to the Monster's defeat.

Akira: For the sake of professionalism Principal, I am well aware what I did was out of line given my status as a civilian. However as a teacher, I would much prefer it if they survived to see another day. As young as I am, I am still an adult, they are students, they have their whole lives ahead of them.

Midnight: We can't fault you for that but still please let this not be a habit. Still thank you for the help saving our students.

All the teachers nodded their heads for the help Kurose-Sensei did for them in saving the students.

Magnetic: Hopefully, your sister is in a good mood or this might be a problem.

Suddenly the sounds of footsteps could be heard from the hall and a familiar voice was heard.

????: Akira, I need to have a word with you!!!

Akira: Well she didn't use my full name, that's a good sign.

The door then opens up revealing a person in a spacesuit who then comes into the room.

This was Anan Kurose or the Space Hero Thirteen and Akira's older sister. Thirteen then turns her attention toward her little brother and starts speaking.

Thirteen: Akira, of all the reckless things to do you decided to fight one of the alien invaders!!!

Akira: I didn't fight it Anan, I distracted it by kicking it. There is a difference.

Thirteen just blankly stares at Akira as what he just said wasn't helping his case.

Thirteen: It doesn't matter to you, it could have got you killed! Honestly, I get you are happy that Grandpa's stories were true but still, I can't lose another family member. I know losing Great Grandpa Gai was hard but what on Earth gave you the idea to do something so reckless?!

Akira: My students were in danger, what more reason do I need as a teacher?

Thirteen: You are a history teacher not a-

Thirteen caught herself because she realized what she was going to say to her brother.

Akira: That I'm not a hero? I'm well aware Anan, you don't have to state the obvious. I still have the letter declining me from the Hero Course. I have been told plenty of times my Quirk is useless for hero duty.

Thirteen: Akira I didn't mean it like that I meant you aren't exactly combat-

Thirteen started to stumble over her words as she knew her little brother was well-versed in hand-to-hand combat.

Akira: I have been practicing Taekwondo since I was six, I suppose I am rather defenseless against a potential assailant. I guess black belts don't mean much in this day and age.

Thirteen: No I don't mean you are weak what I mean is that-

Nezu: Thirteen you are scared for your brother's safety. It is clearly obvious you feel that your brother's rash decision was dangerous but at the same time, it gave the Gokaigers a chance to defeat the Monster. You are acting this way because you feel your brother could have died, correct?

Thirteen became silent and only nodded and looked at her brother.

Thirteen: I am sorry Akira I didn't mean to make you feel bad. I am just scared of losing you. I know we don't spend a lot of time together like we used to but that doesn't mean I don't care for you.

Akira remained silent for a moment before letting out a sigh.

Akira: I understand, you are a hero, you are busy, it's hard to make time for things. I suppose you are right though, I am a history teacher, in scenarios like the other day, I only get in the way. I will refrain from interfering in the future.

Thirteen was silent and felt terrible as her intentions were not to make her brother feel terrible just trying to tell him to be more careful.

Thirteen: Akira, I was just trying to tell you to be more careful. From what Nezu told me you gave those kids the right power to use to defeat that monster. Great Grandpa Gai would have been proud of what you did.

Akira: I kept all of his research, everything that he had relating to the Sentai Teams. Everyone always called him an old quack that believed in fairytales from a dead era. I always believed him, Great Grandpa Gai was many things, but a liar was never one of them.....

Thirteen sighs as she can understand her brother's pain as she didn't believe in her great grandfather's stories until the attack in the city and in the academy.

Thirteen: You made your point, Akira. I am sorry for not believing Great Grandpa Gai's stories.

Akira merely stood up from his chair looking at all the other Teachers in the room.

Akira: I believe the point has been made clear, I will stay out of the way. I will do my best to prepare the Gokaigers for their future battles in my class alongside Class 1-A and Class 1-B. I believe we've wasted enough time on this. I will leave the Sports festival discussion to all of you, a History Teacher really has no purpose in that conversation do they?

Nezu: Are you sure, Kurose-Sensei?

Akira looks at Nezu and nods before the chimera sighs and allows him to leave the room. Akira then waves goodbye and leaves the room. As her brother leaves Thirteen feels incredibly guilty, as she made her brother feel not important to the Academy.

All Might: Thirteen, are you alright?

Thirteen: It is fine All Might. No need to get involved in my personal affairs.

Eraser Head: Come to think of it, I don't think any of us have seen Kurose use his Quirk. Until he mentioned he had one, I thought he was Quirkless given how normal he seems.

Thirteen sighed and shook her head no before speaking up.

Thirteen: My brother has a quirk, but it isn't meant for hero work. It is a great quirk, but it is just not meant for fighting. I mean in all honesty, his quirk would have worked well for the police but he opted to be a history teacher.

All Might: It is rather strange to never see him use however, is he embarrassed by it?

Thirteen chuckles at All Might's question.

Thirteen: Funny that you say that he uses it all the time for his lessons. You see my brother's quirk is called Analyzer, Akira can basically store all knowledge he reads or gains through other means within a kind of mental catalog.

Nezu: So his quirk is a form of photographic memory. How useful but I can understand why he wouldn't be able to be a hero.

Everyone agreed Akira's quirk was useful but sadly not useful for hero work.

Eraser Head: It might not let him be a hero, but it does explain something weird I noticed about him. He never reads off any of the sheets he brings to class, he remembers meeting times perfectly, and seems to remember all important dates on the school calendar. Sounds to me like your brother's Quirk makes him a genius by default.

Magnetic: Photographic Memory is a great power to have. I mean, most geniuses would have a field day having the ability to remember everything without needing to re-read a book. So I agree with Eraser Head about Akira, he's a genius.

Thirteen became silent and now felt terrible as she didn't consider that her brother's quirk had more uses than just remembering things.

Thirteen: I feel terrible. I made my brother not important to the academy. What am I going to do?

All Might: There might be a way you could make it up to him, at least a little bit.

Thirteen looks at All Might curious as to what he had in mind.

Thirteen: Please tell me what I can do to fix this.

All Might: Nezu has decided that in order to better help the Gokaigers, the teachers will take turns sitting in on Kurose-Sensei's class in pairs of two. You sound like you dismissed your Great Grandfather's stories. From what Eraser Head and King Vlad said, they had never seen your brother happier than when he was teaching that class. Perhaps sitting in on his next lesson could be a good start?

Thirteen became silent before nodding as that was the best course of action as that would help the other heroes know more about the Super Sentai and also give them a chance to fight back any monsters the aliens throw at them.

Thirteen: I think this is the best course of action.

Present Mic: Same here I want to hear more about these cool heroes.

Magnetic: I wouldn't mind listening to those stories as I am also curious.

Nezu: Then it is agreed heroes will participate in Kurose-Sensei and his class. Now with that out of the way I think it is time to start talking about the U.A Sports Festival. Not only do we need to have more security in case villains attack but also in case the Aliens want to attack as well. We will need to be vigilant, as who knows what they are planning.

Eraser Head: Vlad King mentioned that Marvelous kid was already planning on having his Galleon dock at the festival arena. Apparently that robot bird of his can detect those monsters before they arrive.

Nezu: Good then we have everything settled now all we need to do is get the vendors and sponsors for the festival and everything should be good.

The Heroes all agreed and started preparing for the Sports Festival.

With Class 1-A and Class 1-B

Over in the gym Class 1-A and Class 1-B were seen training. Some of the class members were trying to one-up each other while others were just cautiously talking amongst themselves.

Uraraka: So Itsuka, how much do you know about Marvelous? I mean him being your class he must have told you a lot about himself.

Itsuka: Nothing much I'm afraid, he's strangely reserved despite how he acts in battle. He mostly speaks to Benjiro, Izuku, Mei, and Toga. I think we upset him with our attitudes in our first proper class together.

Uraraka looks at Itsuka surprised by that answer as Izuku, Mei, and Toga told them a lot about their captain.

Uraraka: That is strange, those three told us he was an alien and his kind would look younger than they currently are. Also, he was trained by his grandfather and his crew.

Monoma: Well it seems the president was right about him being angry at us and not saying much about himself.

Izumi: He's a good person, I know that much. He didn't hesitate to risk his own life to protect my brother and the rest of his crew.

Everyone in the gym agreed while Bakugo was silent.

Bakugo: They may have won but they still got their asses handed to them.

Uraraka: Hey, they are heroes in training just like us, not Pros Bakugo.

Kirishima: Yeah, Bakugobro, it's not cool dissing them for fighting a tough battle.

Jirou: They risked their lives just like we did in USJ.

Bakugo simply frowned and went back to working out.

Bakugo's thoughts: Those Spandex-wearing extras won't beat me becoming number one.

Tsuyu: I've seen Marvelous talking to a robot bird before, ribbit. Apparently it traveled with him from his planet. At least that's what Toga said.

Pony: Oh, yeah, that robot parrot was cool. I remember it warning Marvelous about the monster in the Academy.

Iida: It's rather strange isn't it? For an alien to come to our planet to save it from an invasion, even willing to fight them by himself before he sought out our new classmates?

Toga: Captain's a big softie, he's just good at hiding it by playing Mr. Cool guy!

Everyone turned to see Toga who was seen waving at the others, all of them looking shocked that she was up and fine.

Uraraka: Toga-chan, you are still recovering from the fight. I don't think training is a good idea. Just take it easy okay?

Toga: Oh that? Recovery Girl helped speed up the process, we're just a little sore! Captain's the real issue, we couldn't keep him in the infirmary despite Recovery Girl's orders, he's over there.

Toga then points over to where Marvelous was and everyone saw him doing push ups with his left arm only as his right arm was still slightly bandaged. Bandages were wrapped around his head as well, but he didn't seem to be bothered by his condition.

Tetsutetsu: Holy crap he is working out even when he is that hurt!

Toga: Captain said work through the pain, I think he just wanted a reason to move around, he looked like a kicked puppy in the infirmary.

Everyone just stares at him in shock and wonders what kind of person Marvelous really is. Suddenly Benjiro and Izuku are seen coming into the room looking mad at their Captain.

Benjiro: Captain, we get you want to train but Recovery Girl said your arm won't heal properly if you push yourself too hard.

Izuku: Captain, please, you need to rest.

Marvelous: I refuse to spend another minute laying in bed! Do you have any idea how irritating that is? Having to sit around and do nothing? I'd even take a boring lecture over that!

Class 1-A and Class 1-B were surprised by that answer at how he was that bored.

Todoroki: He left bed in his condition to train, simply because he was bored? Most people would think training is boring.

Itsuka: Will your crewmates be able to get him to take it easy? He shouldn't risk injury even if he is bored.

Toga: Why don't you guys try and stop him? You're his classmates right? You mentioned wanting to get to know him, here's your chance.

Tetsutetsu: That seems simple enough.

Tetsutetsu would regret his words as he walked over to Marvelous.

Tetsutetsu: Hey, Marvelous can please head back to the infirmary. We don't need an accident to happen.

Marvelous: Not going to the infirmary metal head, can't stare at that room anymore.

Tetsutetsu sighs before trying to grab Marvelous but as he tries the Pirate Captain, spun around and kicked his legs out from under him, knocking the boy to the ground.

Tetsutetsu: Woah, what the heck!

Marvelous: Your movements are way too telegraphed and obvious, metal head. How do you expect to get your hands on your opponent, much less restrain them if you just casually walk up to them with your hands out in front of you?

Both Class 1-A and Class 1-B looked shocked seeing Tetsutetsu being taken down so easily.

Izuku: That's our Captain, stubborn as ever.

Itsuka: It's hopeless, we should just leave him be.

Toga: Maybe not, there's a way you can get him to stop, but not send him back to the infirmary.

Class 1-B looked curious about what Toga had in mind.

Benjiro: Okay, Toga, what do you have in mind?

Toga: Ask him for advice on how to improve your fighting styles! We were all pretty bad at using the Gokai Sabers and Gokai Guns in our first battle, but Captain trained us. He's really good at it too, he doesn't make you feel stupid or bad about yourself, just gives a few pointers here and there.

Class 1-B looked surprised by Toga's suggestion but also it didn't sound like a bad idea to ask him.

Itsuka: If we ask him to help us, it will at least get him to stop pushing his body. If he accepts that is.

Toga: Captain won't shoot you down, like I said, a big softie and a bit of a dork! You just gotta make the first step is all!

Class 1-B all looked at one another and decided what they had to lose and walked over to Marvelous. The first to walk over to the Pirate Captain was Setsuna.

Setsuna: Hey, Marvelous are you busy or can you help me with my fighting style?

Marvelous stopped performing push ups before he kicked himself backwards, landing in a cross legged sitting position.

Marvelous: Alright show me what you are capable of, I'll see what kind of pointers I can give.

Setsuna: Okay, but don't be freaked out. Now try my reptile split!

Setsuna's entire body then splits into fifty pieces and then levitates into the air.

Setsuna: So this is what I can do with my body. Do you want to see how I attack?

Marvelous: Take your best shot at me, I need to be on the receiving end to fully understand what you're working with.

Setsuna understood and then commanded her body parts to attack Marvelous from all directions. Marvelous suddenly kicked off the ground, leaping into the air. Marvelous then hopped onto Setuna's thigh before swiftly kicking off it as one of her hands, a section of her torso, and her shoulder blade flew at him. The Pirate Captain then spun around kicking the three body parts away with his right leg, knocking them to the ground. Marvelous landed back on the ground, letting out a hiss of pain from the strain those movements put on his injured body. Setsuna's other hand, another two sections of torso, and a kneecap flew at him. Marvelous ducked under the hand and kneecap before grabbing the section of torso and throwing at the other two limbs knocking them out of the air.

Setsuna: Holy cow you survived my onslaught.

Marvelous: It wasn't that difficult, you have an impressive ability, but the way you use it leaves much to be desired.

Setsuna: What do you mean by that Marvelous?

Setsuna looks confused as to what Marvelous meant by his words.

Marvelous: Think of your body as a fleet of naval vessels, the more vessels in a fleet the stronger it is. However all the firepower is useless without proper coordination. You left so many openings by only sending a few pieces after me at a time. Instead you should have ten to fifteen surround your opponent, giving them little opening for escape. Secondly you left your head completely defenseless. Think of your head as the flagship, if the flagship is destroyed the fleet begins to crumble, so have at least five pieces remain close to your head to guard it.

When Marvelous finished speaking Setsuna's eyes widened as the Pirate Captain made a good point.

Setsuna: I never thought of it that way. Thanks, Marvelous I will keep that in mind.

Marvelous: It's nothing, you made a good attempt, but the flow of a fight can change at the drop of a hat. You have to be ready to change with it, if not you could get overwhelmed.

Setsuna nodded, and then Itsuka decided to ask next and got into a fighting stance.

Itsuka: Are you sure you're still up to this? You are still recovering.

Marvelous: You asked for help didn't you? I would've told you to leave if I wasn't willing.

Itsuka nodded, and then her eyes became serious. Itsuka zigged and zagged around, trying to make it difficult for the Captain to lock on to her. While Itsuka got closer, she pulled both her arms back and then used both of her palms to strike Marvelous but as they got closer she enlarged them for a destructive hit. Marvelous leaped into the air and performed a drop kick, his feet connecting with Itsuka's hands, the force of her palm strike sending him flying backwards, Marvelous backflipped before landing back on the ground, sliding across it as he did.

Itsuka: Seems we canceled each other out.

Marvelous: Who said I was trying to hurt you just now? I just wanted to put some distance between us.

Itsuka got back into her fighting stance and then went back on the attack. Itsuka then charges again and throws a punch at his torso trying to land a solid hit on him. Marvelous, sidestepped the punch before lunging towards Itsuka and reeling back his fist and throwing a punch at her head. However he stopped his fist inches away from hitting Itsuka's nose.

Marvelous: We're done here......

Itsuka backs away shocked as Marvelous managed to get the drop on her.

Itsuka: You stopped, why? Did I do something wrong?

Marvelous: No, there's nothing wrong with your fighting style Itsuka, it's your mentality.

Itsuka looks at Marvelous confused as to what he meant by her mentality.

Marvelous: I could see it in your eyes, you were worried about hurting me due to my injuries, so you pulled your punches. That's fine in this scenario, but in a scenario where there's a serious threat and people could get hurt. It doesn't matter how injured your opponent is, make sure to immobilize them before showing sympathy. Also if they try surrendering, don't let your guard down until you restrain them. You're a kind person, Itsuka, but don't let people take advantage of that.

Itsuka became silent at those words and nodded, while others just looked at Marvelous as Toga told the truth about his ability to help with their fighting style.

Pony: Wow, you weren't kidding Toga he really does have good knowledge on how to help improve our fighting abilities.

Toga: Captain's motto is that fighting is when you truly get to know a person, he figured each of us out by sparring with us.

Benjiro: Yeah, and it hurt but overall got the results for our crew to become stronger. He is a taskmaster but he makes sure that we are in tip-top shape.

Class 1-B all were now wanting to learn and the third person to come up was Kinoko who looked really shy walking over to the captain.

Kinoko: H-H-Hello, Marvelous I would like to become strong as well. Please, tell me where I can do better, okay?

Marvelous: Come at me whenever you're ready, there's no pressure.

Kinoko nodded and then felt the humidity in the room before extending both her hands out, launching spores from her body. Mushrooms then started to pop out covering the gym and the mushrooms started to appear before Marvelous fast coming towards him. Marvelous kicked off the ground, propelling himself to the left, out of the way of the Mushrooms. Marvelous landed back on the ground before he pulled the spare bandage roll he had in his pocket for his arm. Marvelous quickly wrapped the bandages around his mouth and nose, covering them.

Kinoko: I hope you like mushrooms because they aren't just pretty, they are also dangerous.

Kinoko cracked in her voice but continued her mushroom onslaught against the pirate. Marvelous lunged towards Kinko who sent more mushrooms after him. Marvelous removed his coat before tossing it on top of the approaching mushrooms, covering them. Marvelous jumped onto his coat before leaping towards Kinko, landing in front of the girl before gently poking her on the forehead. Kinko then falls to the ground landing on her butt and then rubbing it due to landing so hard on it.

Kinko: Wow you really are strong even when injured.

Marvelous: You're selling yourself short, you produce mushroom spores from your body don't you? Once the humidity in the air hits them, they start to grow rapidly don't they?

Kinko looked at Marvelous surprised he figured her quirk out but nodded at the pirate captain.

Marvelous: That's why I bandaged my mouth, figured if I breathed them in they'd start growing in my neck, making me suffocate. You could lock down entire areas with your Quirk, potentially shutting down routes the enemy could use to flank you and your allies. Of course if they have fire or anything that kills fungus, that counters you. Maybe find a way to plant spore traps? Kind of like a landmine, they walk into it and are suddenly covered in mushrooms.

Kinko: I think I like that idea. Maybe I can ask someone from the support course to make me some gear for my quirk.

When Kinko said that Mei then suddenly appears behind her with a wide grin on her face.

Mei: Did you say you need gear for your quirk?

Kinko becomes scared as Mei is very close until Benjiro pulls the inventor away from the poor girl.

Benjiro: Personal space Mei! The last thing you need is to be accused of harassment.

Marvelous gently pats Kinko on top of the head.

Marvelous: Sorry about my engineer, she's a bit excitable. So do any of you guys have any questions? All that movement is starting to catch up with me, I might have to sit down.

Members of Class 1-B all raised their hands as they wanted to become stronger.

Benjiro: Guess, you are becoming popular, Captain. No surprise there.

Marvelous: I still have a lot to learn, my grandpa can still wipe the floor with me in a duel. I'm far from being the strongest Pirate the universe has ever seen.

Izuku: Well Captain we promise that we as a crew will make that dream a reality.

Marvelous smiled and pats Izuku on the back until Pony asks Marvelous a question.

Pony: I have a question: Marvelous what is society like back home for you on your planet?

Marvelous: My home planet is unique, I mentioned how my grandparents stopped the Zangyack from conquering the Earth back in 2011 right?

Monoma: You did but why is that significant?

Marvelous let out a shaky sigh before continuing.

Marvelous: The Zangyack conquered every other planet in the universe before coming to Earth, even laying waste to a few of them. My grandmother was the princess of her world, the Zangyack scorched the entire planet, leaving my grandmother as the sole survivor of her people. She joined my grandpa's crew to get revenge and to show her race was still alive. Her kind weren't the only ones. After my grandparents toppled the Zangyack homeworld they searched for the survivors of the other planets decimated by the Zangyack. All inhabitants of my home are refugees from the Zangyack's first conquest of the universe. I suppose you could say we are a rather close community as a result, the survivors and children of those survivors.

When Marvelous was done speaking everyone looked at the Captain in horror and shock that his planet was those of survivors of the aliens that came to conquer their planet a second time.

Ibara: By the lord himself how could these Aliens be that ruthless?

Pony: Not only that if Earth falls that means those Zangyack jerks will cause more planets to be destroyed or take them over. That is so not cool.

Marvelous: That's why I immediately set sail when the Neo Zangyack started to reveal themselves, I won't let it happen all over again. Some planets they conquered have only recently restored themselves over the last hundred or so years. My home planet is pretty off the grid, an uninhabited planet before my grandparents docked there to let the refugees start over. Plus it should be safe under my Sister's guidance until I'm done here.

When Marvelous was done everyone looked shocked that he had a sister.

Izuku: You have a sister, Captain?

Marvelous: Yes, you see Marvelous isn't actually my real name, it's merely an alias used by the Captain of the Gokai Galleon. I suppose you could say my family is the ruling house on my planet, so I keep my real name a secret, that way no one can trace it back to my home.

Benjiro: Wait, doesn't that mean you are technically a prince? Like how your grandmother was a princess back on her home planet?

Everyone looked at Marvelous as Benjjro had a point as he was technically royalty. Marvelous however let out a groan.

Marvelous: Yes, I am, but I hate that stuffy title. Truthfully I gave up my right to the crown, my sister will be a phenomenal Queen. I much prefer the life of a Pirate, free to go wherever I please whenever I please, do as I please and just have an adventure across the universe.

Tetsutetsu: How manly I can respect that. We all live how we live it. You definitely are one manly guy Marvelous.

Marvelous smiles at Tetsutetsu and chuckles before Setsuna asks another question.

Setsuna: Hey, Marvelous you said yesterday you wanted to learn how to be an Earthling. Is there really anything different between Earth and your planet?

Marvelous: Well technology is far more advanced I would say, for instance schooling is done through learning terminals. You are put into a pod that then sends you into a sort of virtual space where you can study to your heart's content. If you are unable to solve problems on your own, you will be guided through the process. Trades are taught via simulated scenarios such as spaceship repair or cooking. History is essentially like watching a recording of important events.

Everyone's jaws dropped hearing that as they really were behind.

Mei: I can learn how to make a spaceship with those terminals! Captain, you have to take me there so I can learn to make new babies!

Mei then started hugging the Captain's leg wanting to go to his planet which Benjiro pulled her off which she whined.

Benjiro: Mei, calm down while it's cool hearing the cool tech that doesn't give you an excuse to act like a crazy fan girl.

Mei: You're one to talk, you have a thing for weapons!

Benjiro: What is wrong with liking weapons?

Mei then gets out of Benjiro's hold and pulls a tonfa out of his back pocket.

Mei: You keep weapons on you all the time, Benjiro.

Benjiro: Touche.

Benjiro sighed in defeat as Mei called him out and everyone laughed.

Izuku: Well, this is fun, but I am kind of nervous. This is the first time I am going to join the U.A. Sports Festival.

Mei: I am not. This gives me the chance to use my new babies so support companies will want me to work with them. Heck, I even made some babies based on our sentai forms. So if you need gear I am happy to give them out to you guys. After all, you just need a permission slip to have your items.

Izuku smiled hearing that as that was a good idea since he couldn't use his Sentai Powers, he could at least have a support item to help them.

Uraraka: I am so excited I am going to do my best you hear. I hope you make it far in the tournament Toga-chan.

Toga: It's going to be so much fun Ochako-Chan! Captain, are you excited?

Marvelous: I don't know what a Sports Festival is, is it some kind of gathering? I assume so since the word festival is in the name.

Bakugo then smirks hearing that Marvelous had no idea about the Sports Festival.
