Backstory: You know the beginning of his story but the next chapter is quite interesting. After a confrontation with a villain his gem was cracked and everyone went frantic to try and fix it. But he just snapped one day and his gem shattered. Causing his inner demon to take over his body and try to take out humanity. But with some literal internal conflict Matrix was able to defeat his demon and take back control as well as fix his gem to keep his inner demon in a cage. Then he started wielding his quirk with a more gambler-esque style with his energy blasts looking like dice.
