A cold chill crawled up everyone was present in the area as the Carnival area lay in ruins. Broken lot of machinery lay on the ground while the ones standing were coated in rust, creaking once in a while. A low moan echoed through the area making some shiver.

"Great, resident evil..." Kain mutters to himself while holding up the pistol he had in hand. Eyes darting around every corner and shadow of the park. No where near his classmates.

A child's crying could be heard echoing all around the area, a chilling breeze blows past the boy only adding to the melancholy as well as dark atmosphere. Kain hears the cry and frowns, "No children would be here." He goes away from the sound to try heading up to the Ferris wheel to get a better view where hes at and if anyone else is with him.

A merry go round suddenly lights up and starts working, the rhyme 'Pop goes the Weasel' playing on it, someone loud cackling could be heard followed by a loud shriek of a women. Kain aims is hand and fires a repel up to a seat from the Ferris wheel and gets on. Up to this point he guesses whoever 's toying with him knows he's here so he calls out, "Karuma!? Elsepth!? Anyone?!"

Karuma'a figure could be seen at a distance, her body was hanging on a pole with fire burning under her, threatening to cook her alive. Loud chanting could be heard coming the direction of the girl as a large group of figures could be seen gathered around her.

Kain was now weirded out, "Villain cult.....what the..." He shakes his had and follows on to get there. He can't really stealth this since his suit is white and a bit shiny but with one of his smokescreens, he tosses it in the middle near the fire and smokes the place up before swinging in with his repel to grab Karuma from the pole.

"You cannot take away the sacrifice! It's for the great lord!" One of the people roared and lunged at Kain, the light of the fire revealing its horrifying features. An upside down cross was marked on his forehead while his eyes were milky white and his teeth coated in red. A part of his cheek and neck were torn off revealing the still pumping blood of the man. A possessed. Soon hundreds of individuals with familiar features to him start running towards them, all of them were once humans but were possessed by evil and demonic spirits thus their conditions, only one person could do that. A figure stood hidden well in the shadows, watching the confrontation occur.

Kain sees this and repels to a roof with Karuma and then aims his pistol at the possessed. Without hesitation he starts shooting with head shots. They weren't bullets though, hurt like bullets but were actually a form of paintball that splattered crimson red on the possessed. By the time they reached Kain, they were slowly turning back into human. Kain reloads and then addresses the people back away from the scene and then calls out, "Whoever is cause of this step out."

Suddenly Karuma was ripped out his arms by something invisible before being dragged into the darkness. Out of the shadows stepped out Kai in all his dark glory, his deep violet eyes poking out ominously through his dark grey bangs. He was grabbing Karuma firmly by her neck, and says "Seems like you aren't as stupid as I expected you to be." His eyes narrowed a bit as the villain continued, "But you're still naive." Three pairs of hands shoot out of the ground and grab hold of Kain's leg's firmly, the possessed rapidly gaining distance.

Kain quick draws and shoots the hands as and pull the civilians out of the ground and then aims back at the evil figure only to not see them there. Kain frowns and drops a smoke bomb as he lowers his mask that sees through smoke, hoping the movement of the villain can be seen through smoke.

An extremely thick fog starts enveloping the area, it being so that one cannot see their own hand if they placed it before their eyes. Someone's chuckling could be heard coming from the fog as they say "Let see whether you're a worthy sacrifice or not." As the fog clears away the surroundings were completely changed, instead of the abandoned Carnival land, it was a house that they find themselves in. Only that it seemed to be in ruins. It seems as if the fog somehow teleport them to a different place.

"Either they teleport or this is an illusion...." Kain thinks to himself and keeps the gun steady as he keeps an eye all around him and searches the house.A door opens eerily, it creaking as it did revealing deep never-ending darkness on the other side.

Kain scrunches his nose, "Its a dark and stormy night, lost boy with a haunted house. Damsel in distress...or am I? Enter the house and never return or just go another way....." He shrugs and then starts sprinting. He uses his repel to latch to the roof of the house and swings up to a second floor window where he crashes in and slides on the ground pistol drawn and aimed.

In the cold eeriness of the moonless night, something moves in the undergrowth. First it was just a light movement only to be followed by some shuffling and then it was quiet again. Though something was hidden in the darkness. 'Let's see whether or not you can survive this trial.' A voice mocked inside his head before vanishing just as fast as it came.

Kain was getting tired of this game but he nonetheless kept his calm tone and checks the house before keeping an eye a the movement.

Suddenly the 'illusion' wears off and the boy finds himself back in the carnival land, the only difference being that the ground was now stained red with all the bloodshed that had taken place in his absence, the motionless and cold bodies of hundreds of innocent civilians lay on the ground, their bodies all shriveled up for some reason. Karuma's body lay on the top of a pile of bodies, her body cold as ice while no breathe left her body.

Kain grits his teeth as he was getting slight confusion. He was ready to shed a tear when his own hand slaps him, "Get yourself together stupid. Its illusions everywhere, nothing can be relevant...." He watches the bodies and then drags Karuma off and then tries a pulse and then would start cry yet not knowing if she was real or not.

Unfortunately for him, this time it was all real. The blood, the bodies and yeah Karuma's lifeless body too. Standing atop the large Ferris wheel was Reaper, spinning a single bright golden orb that contained Karuma's soul between his fingers like it was some play ball. Kain saw the shadow and raises his aim quick and lets loose a round of the red paint balls at the Reaper.

Sadly the paint balls go right through his body making Reaper give Kain a bored look. Still holding the orb between his fingers he started "Oi oi... don't get so impatient. Don't try anything funny unless you want me to..." he raises his hand and reveals the golden orb "...destroy what remains of that girl. Oh and don't even try grabbing it from me because if you then it will vanish instantly, taking away her soul too."

Kain looks up with a toying squint as he picks up Karuma's to put it near him, "So you'd rather play games. Fine. What do you want, blood? I can give you blood if you bring her back." Kain holsters his gun and takes out a blade that he puts on his own wrist.

Kai grins a bit and says "No. Haven't you ever heard of 'A soul for a soul'? Give me yours and I will return her's. And don't try anything funny because only I cant return it back, your mistake will end up her getting killed by me unintentionally."

"Fine, hers first. I'm not going anywhere." Kain says as he drops the blade and his gadgets as he only used the repel to get up to Kai's level and stand there." Kai's eyes narrow a bit as he frowns. "You think I'm a fool to do that? It's okay if you don't want her back--" A shadow appears beside Reaper as it opens its jaw inhumanly wide, pretending to be ready to devour it.

"Right, if i cant grab it and it falls then..." Kain says to himself as he takes his finger and bites on it till it bleeds and with his quirk is shot a tiny spray of blood at Kai. Even if it didn't hit him, it can hit the ground beneath them and stain it. With that it humanizes Kai.

"Damn brat. It seems play time's over so I gotta go, toodles!" With that the villain teleported away quickly before the blood hits him. Not like it was going to have any effect on him anyways. Kain gets back on the ground to recover his gadgets and picking up Karuma's body and heading out the exit. In his mind he was furious yet his face said nothing.

Suddenly warm returns back into Kauma's body as the girl chokes loudly in the Male's arms, trying to take in as much air as can. It seems something went wrong with Kai's quirk making him accidentally return her soul back in, possibly a bit of Kain's blood hit the villain and effected a tad bit late.

Karuma coughs out, breathing in heavily to get air. She pants as she looks around, her eyes blurred before managing to focus. "Ouch.... I feel sore." She mumbles and sounded as she was pathetically weak. She then realized she was being carried by Kain as she blinks. "K-Kain... I can walk." She mumbled, knowing well she probably couldn't.

Kain shakes his head, "I know you Karuma, every sports festival you've said the same thing." He reaches to a bench at the outside of the room and sets her down there. "Well that was pointless," Kain mutters to himself.

"Every... heh. But I still manage to stay on my feet." Karuma looks around as she runs her forehead. She shook her head trying not to play the jump scare scene from Kai, the second she fell into this room she desperately hated. "Sorry... I wasn't much of a help." She said. 'More like a disturbance.. as always.' She thought.

"Well then make it up, stay or fight," Kain says as he gets up and reaches out a hand as he looked back at the main entrance where the commotion was happening.

Karuma blinks and looks at Kain. Before smiling, "Fight, of course." Grabbing his hand before getting up. She narrowed her eyes, determined to get her revenge.
