3rd Person POV:

The sign was given to begin, and the speedster rushed ahead, in the lead, neck, and neck were Ethan and Futaba.

They arrived at the large chain connecting the island to the ground and ran up it.

Cathy, meanwhile, was using her quirk to make a lot of people disoriented.

Hugo created a large spinning sphere of air, riding it to keep up with the speedsters.

Bella was launching herself across the arena with her breath attacks.

Billy, transformed into a lion and ran as fast as a lion with Bob not too far behind.

Gwen inflated herself and hopped across as if she was on the moon.

The rest were going at their pace, with not many other choices.

Yn however, was building speed. By the time he reached the chain, he reached an x5 multiplier.

Yn: Whoo!

Leaping onto the first island, he found many turrets. To avoid their projectiles, Yn performed many acrobatic tricks, such as flips, cartwheels, and rolls.

Yn: "Times 6"!

The first obstacle was practically nothing to Yn, as he successfully arrived at the next chain, which he ran up to arrive at the second island.

Yn: Whatcha got for me now!?!

Seeing a bunch of other students randomly around the island, Yn ran head first.

By the time he realized they were leaning on an invisible wall, Yn smacked face-first into the invisible maze.

(SMACK)

(Opening theme)

Ethan and Futaba were stuck competing for first place, constantly hitting a wall, letting the other pass, only for them to hit a wall and the cycle repeated.

Yn in the meantime decided to take another route.

Yn: Here goes nothing!

He began running up the invisible wall. However, when he found the wall didn't seem to end, he changed directions and began running around the wall.

Yn:(mind) Don't fall, don't fall...!

Eventually running out of the wall, Yn fell onto the edge of the island, nearly falling off.

Yn: Ah-ha! Take that maze!

Futaba speeds off with Ethan not far behind.

Yn: Son of a...

Kicking things to high gear, he raises his multiplier and rushes off after the speedsters.

Healy and Lisa arrive at the invisible maze after a lucky run through the turret island.

Healy wore two gauntlets, given to her to help tame her quirk.

Healy: Judging by how the others are moving and the ground...

Healy: There might be an invisible wall here...

Lisa: Neat.

Summoning a doppelganger, it runs ahead, splitting into many chibi-Lisa's that line themselves against the walls to show the path to take.

Lisa: Let's go.

Healy: R-right...

Shortly after their leave, Jake and Duncan arrive. Jake immediately found the correct path thanks to his radar quirk.

Henry shot the walls to find the correct path.

Rica used a hardened strand of hair like a walking stick to make sure she didn't smack into a wall.

Billy and Bob arrived at the invisible maze at the same time as Tiga and Chichi.

Chichi:(In Japanese) Bob-san!

Bob: Raa?

Tiga:(In Japanese) Tch, ignore the Americans, Chichi. They're a bunch of-

Chichi:(In Japanese) Just because some of his classmates are, doesn't automatically make him one!

Tiga: Hmph.

Chichi:(In Japanese) I'm sorry Bob-san. I hope we can still be friends after everything.

Bob: Raa.

Billy:... Bob... I don't understand what's going on. Can we continue?

Bob: Raa.

Sniffing his classmate's scent, Bob leads the way through the maze.

Chichi:(In Japanese) Wow, that was amazing Bob-san!

Bob: Raaa!

The third island was filled with holes.

Yn: Holy swiss cheese of islands, this is going to be a piece of cake!

Running across tightropes to get passed the holes wasn't anything difficult for Yn.

His younger years of being an absolute pain to his mother by running around to escape her made him quite proficient in acrobatics.

Ethan, barely had any trouble as he would just blink across.

It was Futaba who was having an extreme amount of distress with this challenge.

Her prosthetic legs weren't in any way helpful, as they were made to run across solid land, not wire.

This ended with Yn and Ethan speeding off to the next island.

In general, the third island was a momentum stopper for many.

Students like Chichi had an easy time, the rest struggled hard unless they found a creative way to get over it.

Futaba: Urk!

Yagami:(In Japanese) Futaba!

Her class representative arrived with his girlfriend Tsuki whose quirks didn't quite help them in a race.

Yagami:(In Japanese) If you're here, then who's up in first?

Futaba:(In Japanese) Two Americans. At their speed, one will get first for sure.

Yagami:...

Yagami:(In Japanese) Hmph. Like hell, they will. If anyone should be first in this race, it's you.

Yagami:(In Japanese) And I'll make sure of that!

Putting his fingertips together, Yagami creates a small Gravity field around him and Futaba.

Constantly changing the direction of gravity for her, Yagami builds up enough momentum to launch Futaba over to the last island.

Yagami:(In Japanese) You got this!!

Futaba:(Mind) Thank you, Yagami!

Tsuki:...

Tsuki:(In Japanese) Why don't you launch us?

Yagami:...

Landing on the final island, Yn and Ethan get ready for whatever the final challenge is.

But all they found was flat land.

Yn: Ohhh, you think we've gotta leap of faith off of this thing?

Ethan: That's screwed up. Especially if there are people afraid of heights.

Yn: Then they better- falling girl?

Ethan: That didn't-

(CRASH)

Futaba lands in front of the two.

Yn/Ethan/Futaba:......

(SWOOOSH)

The three raced off to the end of the island.

Yn: "Times 11"!

Futaba:(Raises limiter)

Ethan:(Tries really hard)

These three young heroes with their great momentum, run off the floating island, free-falling into the stadium.

Futaba prepares to land on her prosthetic legs, and Ethan got ready to teleport at the last second.

And Yn was doing epic tricks.

(CRASH)

They landed in the stadium, getting their place on the leader board.

Eri:(speaker) What a photo finish! Give these students a round of applause for being so determined to get second place!

Futaba/Yn/Ethan: Second..?

Fred casually walks up to the trio with a smirk on his face.

Fred:(smug smirk) Took you long enough.

Ethan: How the hell did you pass us!??

Fred: Easily.

Fred: See... While you all began climbing those islands, I took advantage of Uravity's gift of getting the obstacle courses out of the way.

Fred: I easily ran around the stadium under those islands.

Yn: Damn it!

Ethan: You gotta be kidding me!

Fred: This was the obvious outcome.

Yn: Ugghhhh...

Slowly more students arrived as Fred gloated, and Yn kept his multiplier going.
