Akari's POV

The bus stops the third time which means it's my stop, I got up and got out of the bus when I got out, the doors close and the bus started driving. I sigh softly and walk until I'm in front of the house, I opened the door only to be greeted by my huge dog.

His name is Ishiku, he's a very huge Tibetan Mastiff, he's very protective of me whenever I take him for a walk, but he's also my cuddle buddy since he's huge, and I can just cuddle him whenever I feel sad or if I just want to.

"Hey, Ishiku," I said smiling as I crouch down and give him a hug which he replied licking my ear to my cheek making me giggled, I stand up and walk into my room which he followed.

I put my bag down and sit on my huge bed, the reason why we have a huge bed is because when Ishiku wouldn't go on my last bed since it was small, I would sleep on the floor with him, and my parents don't like me sleeping on the floor instead of my small bed, so they save enough money and got me a huge one.

Ishiku looked at me with a worried look on his face. I pat a space next to me which he got the message and jump on my bed, and then he lay his head on my lap which made me pet his head and ears.

I then groan painfully when I felt my stomach growling hard, forgotten that I didn't eat lunch and breakfast today. I would always do this to myself, and I know it's unhealthy for me to not eat, but I just... couldn't, I would sometimes try, but with my parents food this time. Ishiku saw this, then he moves his head behind me where my butt is. All of a sudden I felt myself getting pick up from Ishiku, I forgot to say that he's really strong, stronger than any other dogs, that's what his Quirk is, but he has another Quirk as well.

5 seconds later, I see my mom sitting on the stool that is in front of the kitchen top is, her dark blue hair in a high bun as she's typing away on her computer while wearing her glasses, she probably didn't hear us coming. Meaning we're at the living room and dining room.

I weakly got off of Ishiku and went to sit right next to Mom, as I did, I just rested my head on my arms. I then groan again when I felt my stomach growl more, I don't know if my mom heard me or not, but I just want to eat something, I then hear my mom talking to me.

"Are you hungry?" I look at her slightly to see her honey brown eyes staring at me with worried showing all over her face. I nodded weakly, felt like I'm going to cry, I felt Ishiku rested his head on my lap calming me down, which somewhat did.

Mom took her glasses off and got up and immediately went cooking, "I was going to cook dinner anyway." My mom told me as she turns and smiles to me which I weakly smile back. A few minutes later, my mouth started to water from the smell of her amazing food.

She put the plate in front of me and I've realized that it was my favorite dish: Salisbury steak with rice bowl at the side, my chopsticks on the right side and mash potatoes in the middle. I then start to cut the Salisbury into pieces and put it in my rice bowl and stir it up, and start to devour it, I felt huge beads of tears come out of my eyes when I first taste the well-cooked rice and Salisbury steak together. God, I miss this.

"Thank you, mom." I muffled since I stuffed the food in my mouth, she smiles and giggled at my silliness and kiss my forehead, "Your welcome, my little Icarus." Mom said using my nickname ever since I was little.

I continued eating this deliciousness, until I hear the door open, meaning my Dad is home, "Hi guys! I'm home!" Dad yelled out, I turn around to see his light brown hair in a man bun, his magenta eyes saw me staring which he smiles to me and I smile back at him.

"We've noticed that!" Mom yelled out into the kitchen, Dad put his stuff down and came and sit next to me, "Hey little Icarus." Dad said using my nickname that my mom used a second ago, I honestly don't know why they nickname me Icarus, but I'm just going to leave it like that.

He ruffled my hair, but I didn't fix it since I'm still focusing eating on my now second serve, I can tell Dad whine a bit from me not focusing on him but then realize something, "Did you eat lunch today?" Dad asked me, I stopped eating to look at him and then my mom because I guess she heard Dad's question, "You ate breakfast too, right?" Dad added, but I was quiet from that too.

I look at them and then slowly went back to eating in shame, "No, I didn't." I told them muffled since I have food in my mouth, "What about breakfast?" I heard my mother asked, I shook my head meaning no too. I felt my dad wrapped his arm around my shoulder and gave me a side hug, "Hey, don't be upset, we're not mad at you." Dad replies letting go of my shoulder so I can continue eating.

Mom put a plate of food down in front of Dad which made him water and start digging in, Mom put her plate down and just calmly eat, "Why didn't you tell us that you didn't eat today? I could've made you lunch during the morning." Mom question.

I put down my empty dish and look at mom, I sigh softly looking at my left to see the hot tea still steaming, "That's because you were busy this morning, and I don't want to disturb you from work. Plus, I was about to be late for school." I answered as I took a sip of my tea, tasting the Cherry Blossoms with sweet honey that add it.

Then I stand up when I was done with my tea, grabbing the dishes, went into the kitchen and wash them, "Thank you for the food Mom. I thought that I'll never eat your food again." I told her jokingly which made her giggle and Dad smile, "I'm glad you like it, sweetheart." Mom replied with a smile, I turn off the water when I was done doing the dishes.

I then hug my Dad and hug my Mom, went upstairs not before yelling, "Goodnight Y'all!" Then I hear my mom and dad yell back, "Night sweetie!" I chuckle at there reply and I went to my room.

I really love my parents... they were the people that supported me ever since I was born...
