A batch contest is coming soon with the theme " My Poem is your Song". The class began to practice our piece. I was at the middle row and so as Briones. 

Okay class. Let's take a break. We will resume at 11:00am okay? Our moderator said as I went back into my seat and drink my water jug.

Hey guys! Finally! I finished the class birthday list! Our president, Mike Lector, said as he posted it on our class bulletin board. Everybody crowded the board as I blended in.

Briones birthday is coming soon. I thought of myself as our teacher called us to practice again.

Hmm... What gift shall I give him? I thought until we were practicing. Later, it was our dismissal time and I asked Julie to accompany me to the mall to buy Briones gift.

Julie's P.O.V.

I just accompanied Sandra so that I  give advice on her too since he's close to her. Anyway, we reached the mall and roamed around until Sandra entered an accessory store. We both roamed inside while an assistant came towards us and asked what type of accessory do we need. Sandra suggest their best selling necklace. The assistant presented us two best selling necklace. Sandra can't decide so I gave her advice. Unfortunately, my advice didn't advice her at so until.

Ma'm, remember, A gift reflects everything to a person. Decide on your heart not on his favorite color. The assistant advices.

Sandra was enlightened by that advice so she picked one of the necklace and thanked the store assistant. We both ate at the food court since it was 6:30pm 

* Time skip to Briones Birthday*

Sandra's P.O.V.

*inhales*... *exhales*... Well, I guess this is the day... I said as I nervously enter the room. I never realize that I was late so our moderator got mad at me. I excused and sorry myself to her and went to my position in the practice. It was only 3 days before our performance so I better give my best out of it.

 The practice ended well, I was so nervous that I couldn't give my gift to him. But if I don't give it to him, my efforts will go on to waste. 

*exhales deeply*... Here goes nothing. I said as I rushed towards him.

Briones! I said presenting my gift to him as I give him my sweet smile.

Happy Birthday! I said as he accepted my gift.

Oh, you shouldn't have. Thank you. He said opening the gift.

Wow, A necklace! I always wanted to have one of these you know? He said giving me a hug. His body is warm and hard. I feel like my mission was a success.

You were the first one who gave me a gift this year. Thank you. He said patting and ruffling my hair. I gave him a pout face to blend in with the situation.

The day ended well as I succeed in giving gift to my friend. Giving gifts is like giving life to others. I'm glad to see a smile on his face when he received my gift.

*Time skip to the performance*

Phw... I'm ready. I said as I entered the stage with my classmates.

Up next is the one and only. The class of miss Maria Gracia! The announcer said as the curtains opened at the auditorium.

The first part of our performance is just a short skit lead by Julie and Andrew. Next is our choir group which is lead by me and Briones. The actor group is lead by Isaiah, Jade and Zack. 

The crowd went quiet as I start the lead;

" The gold and copper are in the mine"

" We can also get a stone that's shiny "

" In the edge and middle of this mountains "

" Beautiful landscape in the provinces " 

" On Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao"

" Move Up to the heavens or go under beneath"

" The beautiful places are happy to meet"

" Land in the North we are so proud"

" The tourist will leave with smile on their face" 

" The Hundred Islands are this interesting," 

" Certainly sadness, will leave you smiling there."

" Go to Baguio at the top of the mountain, "

" You'll be satisfied cause the place is so cold " 

" Sagada't Banaue don't you forget it "

" Let's feature it out to our guest. "

" In Boracay Island, it seems like a paradise,"

" In Cebu and Bohol,You should book your flight there."

" And if you're tired, breathe hard and rest first,"

" Eat this famous Philippine halo-halo."

Wow, That was a relief. I said as I cached my breath.

You did great! Both of you! Julie said rushing towards us.

Thank you Julie. I said as we both jump like little girls.

Yeah, Good job Sandra. Andrew said giving me a like hand signal.

The class went out at the stage as the next class is about to perform.

Our rival classes are not as bad as you think of since we all had a long time to prepare. Finally, all of the classes were finished performing and it's time to announce the results.

Okay, This year's competition, " My poem your song", bronze award goes to... The class of Sir Bee! Congratulations! The announcer said as our class happily giggled as our chances of winning have increased.

Okay, The next silver award goes to... The class of Maria Gracia! Congratulations! The announcer said as we happily accepted the silver trophy.

Now, for this year's winner, The gold trophy goes to... The class of Miss Cathy! Congratulations! The announcer said as their class screamed in happiness.

The class was treated by our moderator, Miss Maria, a box of gigantic size of pizza. Everybody was so happy and finally it was our dismissal time. The day ended well as we all gave our best efforts in competing against our batch.
