Author's POV

Sneaking her head out from the warm blanket, Priya quizzed her eyes out of sleepiness.

Her lips starched into a smile when her first sight in the morning fell on her better half, who was sound asleep beside her.

Leisurely settling herself inside a warm blanket, Priya turned on her left side keeping her both arms safely around her seven months baby bump. She looked at her big, six feet tall baby sleeping adorably in the morning breeze.

Priya took her arm out of the blanket and cherished his already messy hair, her life couldn't not be more perfect than this. She is privileged for finding a man like Arjun, who always chooses her over everything and everyone, who makes her feel comfortable just by his one glance, who always puts her happiness before his, who never gets tired of her tantrums and mood swings, who takes care of her along with her soul. who makes her feel like home by his presence. Who gives her confidence to be herself. And lastly who loves her unconditionally and has madness filled in his heart for her.

Whatever ever I did to get him as my man ? This question rang inside her mind for a few minutes, yet she never got an answer. At last all she felt is grateful for everything she has now. Grateful for her soulmate and the little bundle of joy which are growing inside her stomach. There was a time when she used to see a huge question mark whenever she thought of her future. But now, she has everything that she deserves.

Sometimes, she feels like all these are her dreams, a beautiful fairytale dream. Once in a lifetime every girl will dream of a life which Priya is living now. And she truly respects that from the bottom of her heart. Her suffering and wait of seven long years has paid off.

Smiling with an admiration in her eyes, she mentally thanked the universe to bless her with everything she had ever wished.

Cherishing his thick hairs, priya's hand went little down to his cheek bones, her palm felt a tickling sensation when she touched the part of his stumble where he has little new grown up beards. Arjun was sleeping on his stomach keeping his face on display on her side.

Accidentally her eyes fall on his exposed part of neck, where she can spot the hickey which she gave him last night while cuddling.

Although she wanted more than cuddling and hickeys, the doctor had advised them not to be involved in intimacy when Priya entered in six'th month of pregnancy. But to her bad luck these days she craves more for him, her pregnancy hormones were messing up with her sane mind. Just one intense gaze from him, and she would be on the edge of needs and desires.

That's what happened last night, after having her favourite kadai paneer with chapati prepared by her mom- Nadhiya, She went straight to bed to give her body rest, where Arjun joined her after cleaning up the dishes. They talked about how they spent their day while embarrassing each other, and like routine Arjun had a little talk show with his babies too, at first flowing in that moment Arjun and Priya began to cuddle with each other, but soon that soft cuddle turned into a hot make out session. After a point of kissing and sucking each other's skin like vampires. Even his feather touches makes her go weak on her knees, As she is very sensitive these days. Arjun was the one who decided to put a full stop when their bodies getting out of control, priya made a pout when he stopped her from unbuttoning his shirt. Gently placing a kiss on top of her he remind her doctors advice. Not having any other choice priya agreed to him and slept in his arms.

Recalling last night's little make out session, Priya's cheeks turned into Tomato, her mentally face for being so impatient for intimacy. Nevertheless her other part assured her saying there's nothing wrong in having lust for her own husband. After all, she got hot as a husband.

Thinking of his toned body priya licked her lips in anticipation, suddenly she flinched by hearing his strong horse voice of morning mess.

" Being a pervert in the morning huh ? Wify ? "

" umm.....no way, i was just lost in thoughts " priya tried to cover up, looking at Arjun who's eyes were still closed.

" Yeah, lost in my thoughts " he mumbled and opened his eyes straight looking at her. Priya averted her gaze when she was caught red handed.

" You look so cute when you try to hide something from me, " Arjun teased her with a playful smile.

Priya chose to keep quiet as she knows Winnipeg against him is impossible, she wondered how he got to know about what her mind was thinking when he was sleeping.

Well, he's your husband. He can do anything you know, btw the way you licked your lips, even an unknown man can sense your perverted mind then why not your husband ? . Priya's mind mocked her.

Ignoring her husband's smirk and her mocking mind, Priya sat up straight on bed.

" Priya...priya, wake up . " They both heard Nadhiya's voice outside of the bedroom knocking on the door.

" Haaan, ma, I'm up. Let me get fresh up first " priya answered while still in her place.

" Okay, don't be late. We have to leave before afternoon " Nadhiya said before leaving.

Priya looked at Arjun, who was already looking at her with a stable face, as per Indian custom priya has to spend her first delivery at her mom's house. As much as she is excited for being with her mom, she is sad too for leaving her husband behind.

Priya cherished her bump with love and admiration, gently taking care of her bump she tried to lift herself from bed, to get fresh up.

But her morning swollen feets, and sore body didn't let her, she couldn't gather herself together. Realising her struggle, Arjun woke up from bed and walked to her side of bed.

" Here, hold my hands " he gave her his right hand which holds without any second thought, curling his left arm around her shoulder he helped her to get off from bed.

" Take a hot bath. It will reduce your leg pain. I'll arrange your clothes. " Saying this Arjun helped her to get inside the washroom, and left her to take a bath.

Priya was relaxing in the hot booth, meanwhile Arjun arranged the bed along with the room and took out a comfy loose gown for her, he even arranged her undergarments with clothes. Checking on her packed suitcase, Arjun packed a bag in which he kept a few ointments and lotions for her. He knows these things she can also get from her mom's place. Still, he wants everything perfect for her.

Completing his work, Arjun took his clothes from the closet and just then Priya came out from the washroom, wearing a bathrobe. Her hair was dripping wet, but she is less concerned about it when the thought of staying away from her husband eats her mind.

Her mood was the worst ! She made a grumpy face and sat on the edge of bed. Arjun noticed her change of expressions, and he also knew the reason behind it.

Leaving a long sigh, he went near her and sat beside her, Priya didn't spread a glance at him. She was just blankly staring at the wall. Arjun took a hold of her hand, and spoke " i don't want to stay away from you "

Priya's head snapped towards him when she heard what he said.

" Yes, " he said, gazing at her face.

" But, As much as i want you here with me, your mom too has few expectations, like taking care of you, pampering you and her grandchildrens" He slowly said and kissed her first finger, priya passionately listened to him.

" It's our first baby, so for your mom too, it's her first grandchildrens " he again kissed her second finger.

" I know we both will miss each other, but if you don't go there, your mom will miss you too. She has rights on you more than me, all she is asking is your presence around her for two months or maybe till your delivery. " This time he kissed her third finger.

" I know what you're thinking, that we can request your mom to stay here till you delivery, but baby think about your mom's side too. She wants to look after you by all of herself. Not even me. This is the most sensitive and important part of your motherhood, so for her too. Remember she is mother too. I'm sure if i request then your mom won't deny to stay here, but still can't we do this one thing for you mom ? For her satisfaction ? She is perfectly ok with me stealing you for the rest of life, then why can't we spend this few months with your mother ? Is that too much to do ? Don't think staying apart will reduce our love, nope never. In Fact staying apart for a few months will make our love stronger. You know missing each other is the real test of love " Completing his sentence he again kissed her ping finger.

" And lastly, don't worry, I will visit you twice or more in a week, just one flight and I'll be at your doorstep. I swear if i didn't have to deal with this damn project, i would have come along with you too, i know my mother in law won't mind that too. But this new project has been hard to finish, i promise I'll try to finish it as soon as possible and in the second I'll fly to you, now smile and be a nice girl with mom. " Arjun made her understand of her mother's point of view too, and finally he kissed her thumb, along with her back of palm.

Looking at her, he expected a reply from her, Priya stared at him for a few seconds before speaking " so who's she ? You're already pushing me away. So it's confirmed that there's another girl in your life now. I know your tricks, you're buttering me so I'll leave you soon and you can enjoy your new found lady love " she said all these in one go. She was glaring at him with her big big eyes.

Arjun awestruck, he opened his mouth to say something but words stuck inside his throat. He couldn't believe what she just said. A part of him was afraid to death even when he did nothing wrong. Yet he was mentally preparing himself for a war.

Seeing his horrified expression priya couldn't carry her fake anger, she burst into laughter..

Arjun huffed in relief when he realised she just pranked him, god she and her way of pranking would kill him one day.

" You almost gave me a heart attack " he shuttered while saying as he was taking long breaths.

Priya was laughing holding her bump, " see, babies i told you naa, your dad is a picasso of scary cats. Actually no he's worse than a cat " priya again burst into laughter.

Arjun glared at her for making him fool, out of nowhere he held her face and plastered her lips with his, slowly moving his lips against hers Arjun sucked her lower lips gently and passed a moan in the kiss, which made her shiver under his touch.

Partying away from her, he attached their forehead and said " i might be a cat, but never forget that this cat can do a lot of things to you, which you would love too "

" You're shameless Arjun, babies might hear us " priya smacked him on his head.

" Ouch, agressive women. Let our babies hear us, they also get to know how much their dad love sick puppy over their mom." Arjun jokes casually.

" You're impossible Arjun " priya pushed him away and stood up to leave but stopped when Arjun held her hand.

Turning around she raised her eyebrows at him. Arjun didn't answer her, instead he hugged her gently. Of course her Big bump wasn't letting him hug her fully, so he side hugged her.

" I'm gonna miss you like hell, seriously I don't know how I'll spend these days. Love you so much, take care of yourself and our babies too. Eat well, take proper foods, no junk foods and don't forget to exercise. I'll keep visiting you twice or thrice a week. Have a good time with your mom, and please if you have any strange feeling down in your stomach just give a call, and yeah say it to your mom too. Don't keep anything with you, let us know every single change is okay. hey babies, don't bother your mom okay.... And love you d, miss you sooo much ayoo aludhruven pole naa inum konja nearthila (looks like i might cry in few minites ). '' Arjun blurred out everything that he had in his heart for a long time. He really doesn't want to let her go, but he can't stop her either.

Placing a kiss on her forehead he mumbled i love you for the nth time.

" Love you too, and you too behave well when i'm not around, don't skip your breakfast. don't wro till late night. Take proper sleep, work can wait but your health can't. And call me once you're at home after work. be carefull while driving, nd it's okay if you don't visit me twice in a week, just take rest. look after my plants, don't forget to water them. and Miss me so much. " Priya too hugged him.

Both stayed like that for a few seconds, feeling each other's warmth. It wasn't a forever separation, yet they just couldn't control themselves from being cringe.

Where's love, there's caring and clingy.

" Ooiii, love birds please. Enough of your missi chanting now comes out. " They heard Nadhiya's voice again.

Both parted away from the hug and looked at each other with a helpless smile and hopeless face.

" Coming mom " both said in unison and laughed along.
