Author's POV

Sun rays were dancing on Priya's face, yet she managed to sleep peacefully. But the person beside her was wide awake and staring at her sleeping figure.

Your assumption is right, it's none other than her husband. Arjun. who was admiring his wife's innocent face while she was sleeping.

It's been months of their marriage, still he feels the same love and attraction towards her which he felt on their first encounter.

His eyes never left her face. Her perfect arched eyebrows, pointed nose, big yet attractive eyes. Last but not least, her tempting lips. And the charm on her face. which she carries even in her sleep.

The vermillion in between her hair partition was a little smudged. her chest was going up and down due to her heavy breaths.

Arjun's eyes were stuck on the hickey on her neck which he gave yesterday night during their make out session.

A proud smile appeared on his face, as he realised in which moment he gave her that hickey.

Arjun rubbed the spot with his thumb, where he gave hickey.

When his cold hands met with her skin, she flinched a little and held the duvet tightly till her chest, and curled into a ball to sleep peacefully after all he made her so tired. Arjun Chuckled at her act. Only she can seduce him even in her sleep.

She came unexpectedly into his life. now she has become his permanent. After their confession everything is going in rhythm.

Adi or Arjun's name doesn't matter anymore when they love each other unconditionally.

Slowly without disturbing her sleep, he adjusted her baby hairs which were falling on her face. Moving towards her forehead he placed a gentle kiss there.

" Love you, setan." he mumbled near her forehead and got up from bed.

He glanced into their room, and he could see yesterday's night effect. Their clothes were lying on the floor , some here and there.

Grabbing his blue shorts and peach coloured t-shirt from the closet he wore that and collected their clothes which were lying on the floor.

Throwing their clothes in the laundry basket, Arjun did his morning chores.

After getting fresh up, he comes out from the bathroom only to find his wife's sleeping figure.

Wiping his face with a towel he went near her. Her bare legs and shoulders gave him a good view.

Bending down till her level, he cherished her cheeks with his thumb.

Priya opened her eyes when she felt his touch on her skin. Slowly blinking her eyes she looked at him for a few good seconds.

Arjun raised his eyebrows at her, priya didn't say anything instead she covered her face with the duvet when she realised her current state.

She was hell shy to meet his gaze.

Arjun chuckled at her antics, he tried to pull the duvet off from her face. But Priya wasn't ready to leave that.

"Arjun please leave me" priya spoke as she was struggling to keep the duvet on herself.

" Nope. not happening, first tell me why are you hiding yourself from me ? Arjun asked as he pulled the duvet off from her face using his strength.

As soon as he pulled the duvet priya closed her eyes not wanting to meet his eyes.

In no time Arjun hovered on her, placing both his hands and knees on either side of her. Priya flinched at his sudden act and opened her eyes wide.

"What are you doing ? " She shivered under his demanding ogle.

" Shhh. First answer for my previous question, why did you hide your face ? " Arjun asked in his deep husky voice.

Priya was tounge tied to say anything, as he his dominating auro was hard to ignore.

" I ahhm I was feeling shy to look at you. " priya murmured softly.

Hearing her answer, a proud smirk appeared on Arjun's face. That's what he wanted to hear from her.

" And why are you feeling shy now ? As much as I remember yesterday night you were the one who was demanding more kisses and ...." Before Arjun could complete his sentence Priya put her palms over his mouth to shut him up before he blambars anything further about their quality time.

" Shut up. don't you feel ashamed ? " Priya scolds him for being shameless.

" Uhmma....ammmm.....ouuuu " arjun said something but priya couldn't understand what he said.

" What are you even saying ? " narrowing her eyes at him,'' she asked.

Arjun pointed towards her hand wish was covering his mouth. Priya realised that due to her hand he couldn't speak clearly.

Priya took her hands and looked at him for an explanation.

" Huff. and i know you like me when I behave shamelessly with you. " Arjun winked at her and got a dead glare in return from priya.

" Okay. No more 18+ talks go and get fresh up. I'll make coffee and breakfast for both of us , ''Arjun said and waited for her to leave. But Priya didn't move, instead she was looking at him without blinking her eyes.

" Stop looking at me like that , I might do something shameless to you." Arjun said in a mocking tone, priya giggled at his cuteness.

" Ok. Now leave me. i want to use the washroom" priya requested him, arjun shook his head and said "nope. first give me my morning boost "

Priya gave him an unbelievable look and huffed. Although she likes the attention and his noughty side.

" Arjun, please let me go, " Priya whined like a kid. Arjun chuckled and loosened his grip on her. Yet priya didn't left , she looked at him for anticipation.

" What are you waiting for ? See i won't stop you here after you can go " arjun shook as he if is unaware of her hesitation.

" Don't pretend like you don't know anything. How can i go like this ? either you leave the room or give me my clothes " priya yelled at him. she was already hell shy and her husband isn't doing anything good in it.

" What's there to hide baby ? I have already seen all your, ouch" before he could say anything further priya smacked him on his head "calm down my lady.......ok I'm leaving " saying this Arjun got off from her and left the room.

Priya sighed and got up from the bed covering herself with the duvet and went to the washroom to get fresh.

Priya's eyes widened when she saw her every inch of skin covered with hickeys. " How am I supposed to hide these hickeys ? I need a whole box of concealers." She murmured to herself.

" I'm gonna kill you, Arjun, " she said, looking at herself in the mirror.

Meanwhile, Arjun was preparing breakfast for both of them. As they took a day off from their work because the last few days were really hectic. And in all office workload they couldn't spend some quality time with each other. After finishing their work, both decide to take a break from work.

Arjun prepares ragi dosa as it's healthy and priya's favourite too. Arjun always prefers healthy food over junk food. he believes in "healthy food, healthy mood".

After dosa , he made coffee and poured it into a mug. He even set the table for breakfast.

But Priya hadn't arrived yet, so he thought to check on her. Just when he turned to leave upstairs, he collided with priya.

" Ouch." Both said at the same time

" Careful priya. I was about to come upstairs to call you for breakfast, ''Arjun said, eyeing her from top to bottom. Priya was wearing a white long hoodie with grey sweatpants.

Why is she wearing a hoodie in summer ? Arjun thought.

" Don't give me that look, Arjun , and from now on you will sleep on the couch. dare you evan thought to come near me I'll kill you " priya warned him with her famous glare.

Arjun was a little bit confused. He didn't get what she meant.

" Why ? " Arjun asked her being confused

" What why ? Because of you I had to use a lot of counselor idiot ''Priya yelled at him and walked to the dining table to have breakfast.

Arjun to suppressed his smile understanding what she just said but he didn't want to tease her further as he know if he did then he have to sleep on couch which he didn't want to happen.

" Priya We are going for lunch in the afternoon so be ready okay " Arjun said as he served her priya noodles and gave a warm smile.

Both had their breakfast in Complete silence yet it was such a comforting moment for both of them. Priya enjoyed the food while Arjun enjoyed sighting his wife.

After breakfast priya was engrossed in cleaning work while arjun was watering the plants.

Both get ready after they're done with their work.

They both about to leave the house just then arjun got a call from someone

" Just a second " Arjun excused himself and picked the call.

"Umm.....hi...........yeah............ohhh.........um actually............ what now ? ............. I'm kind of busy for now.......... ok .......ok I'll be there in 10 minutes' ' arjun was talking with hesitation, he gave a weak smile to priya after ending the call. Priya looked at him with a questioning look.

" Ahmmm......priya actually I have to go...... there's an emergency at the office...... I'm so sorry I promise I'll be back in one hour. Arjun said with pleading eyes...... although he didn't want to go....but he didn't have any other options.

Priya was a little upset, but she didn't show that to him. It's his work, otherwise he won't do this. In life there will be many unexpected situations. We just have to be a little patient to handle those situations.

" It's ok arjun, go safe and I'll wait for you" priya told him. Arjun hugged her and thanked for understanding his situation.

" I'll be back in one hour ok " saying that Arjun bid by priya , Priya wasn't aware of the biggest storm of her life...., which was going to happen in just a few minutes.

Unexpected situations, unexpected life ;

After Arjun left Priya went inside and sat on the couch. She was scrolling through Pinterest to pass her time.

It was almost half an hour since Arjun left, Priya was continuously checking the time here and there. She couldn't avoid the negative Vibes around her. Her heart was beating like if she on marathon. Priya took some long breaths to calm herself.

Abruptly, Priya got a call from an unknown number. She picked it up with a blank face.

" Hello, this is mrs. Priya ? " Asked the person from the other side.

" Umm yes.....may i know who you are ?" Priya said in confusion. But the next words shajed Priya's World.

" Ma'am, your husband met with an accident...... he's admitted in IMV hospital....." priya was tongue tied, she couldn't speak after whatever she heard. Tears were flowing through her cheeks.

" Arjun........ " Her last word before black spots covered her vision, she fell down with a thud.

She lost her consciousness just like how she lost her Arjun..... once again.
