I may be eighteen years old, but my love for stuffed animals will never die

I literally spent most of my childhood carrying around many different kinds of stuffed animals and plus, I've just always had a natural fondness for them for some reason

Anyway, the convention I've been wanting for for months now started today and this is the first (and definitely not the last trust me because con merch almost never fails to disappoint me) purchase that I've made

IT'S A FUCKING PLATYPUS AND IT'S SO CUTE AND I LOVE IT AHHHH

IT'S SO SOFT AND CUDDLY AND OH MY GOD IT WAS SO WORTH GOING BACK TO THE TABLE THAT WAS SELLING IT TO BUY IT (My friends and I were looking around in one of the rooms where people sell their shit and the platypus caught my attention while one of them was buying another one of the stuffed animals they were selling and I managed to tell myself to walk away before literally changing my mind not even five minutes later and quickly going back to buy it since I didn't want to lose my friends in the endless sea of cosplayers lmao)

Speaking of cosplay, I had to change my plans last minute since my friend was supposed to style my wig for one of my cosplays (it's one that y'all have never seen since I haven't taken any pictures of me in this cosplay because the wig is complete and utter shit) but she didn't get around to it so I had to be Kaori from Your Lie In April today (Which is totally fine by me since today was the first time that I cosplayed her at a convention, even though I literally got her shit last year) and I'm also going to cosplay her tomorrow because why not and then I'm cosplaying my smile Russian boy Yurio on Saturday and I have zero idea what I'm doing on Sunday as of right now lol

I didn't take any pictures of me as Kaori today since today wasn't an all day thing and I got caught up in all the hype so here's a random one I took a little while back when I got bored while home alone (because when you're a cosplayer, you find any sort of excuse to cosplay at any given time. I also needed to try on new shoes and knee high socks that I got for the cosplay since the shoes I was originally using were complete and utter shit lol)

You can more than likely tell, but that wig is long as shit. In fact, it's so long that it literally almost touches my ass.

Maintenance is also a pain in the ass. I literally spent God knows how long really going through and combing it last night and now I'm gonna have to do it again because it's super tangled from me playing DDR and me constantly playing with it for some damn reason and just ugh man thank God that my real hair is short

This wig is my not so friendly reminder that I'm more than likely not going to let my real hair grow and be long again (that, and I just feel more confident and feel like I look better in short hair)

Okay I'm gonna go now but I'm just quickly going to state the fact that this platypus is slowly starting to implant the idea of MAYBE cosplaying River from To The Moon in the future because I love her and I remember how she had a stuffed platypus and plus, I need to attempt to cosplay a character that isn't blonde and not look like complete and utter garbage while doing it
