First Day Jitters

Regular text is English
Italicized  text is Korean

It had been about a week since you were first invited to stay with BTS and you found yourself sleeping on the couch since you woke up in Jimin's bed on the first day and was instantly freaked out. He offered for you to use his bed while you were there, but you would feel bad if you slept in his bed any longer. You stretched your arms and rolled over on the couch as the members of BTS came out. You greeted each of them in Korean and smiled as some of them giggled at your accent.

"Using the skills Jimin taught you?" Namjoon asked.

"Yeah. I'm going to live in Korea for three whole years so I have to learn the language at some point. Why not start early?" You checked the time on your phone before realizing, with great panic, that you had your first class today and in only one hour.

"What's wrong, (y/n)?" J-hope asked. You dramatically stood up and pushed your way through the boys to the bathroom with a fresh set of clothes and your bag that carried your cosmetics and hygiene products.

"I'm going to be late!" You yelled. "I can't be late on my first day!"

Someone knocked on the door.

"Uhh... late for what?" Taehyung's voice came from the other side of the door. You quickly changed clothes and did a decent makeup job after brushing your hair and teeth then slid out of the bathroom.

"I have class today and that's the whole reason that I'm in Korea for so I have to go right now before I'm late!" Taehyung jumped out of your way as you dashed around the dorm grabbing your music stuff and running out the door.

"What is she doing? I didn't catch any of what she said." Jungkook bit into a toaster wafel that just came out.

"She has a class I think? She was speaking really fast and sounded frantic." Jimin said sitting down on the couch where you had been.

"Anyone up for a real breakfast?" Jin said looking right at Jungkook as he stuffed the last bit of wafel in his mouth.

"You just got burned man!" Jimin said trying to mock a hipster American voice.

----------

You looked up the directions to the Seoul National University where you were getting your masters degree in Vocal Music. It took you about an hour to get there but you made it just in time. You pulled out your notebook and laptop and opened the notebook only to let out a horrified gasp. The notebook in front of you was not your own, but it was Jimin's notebook full of his lyrics and ideas.

"Mrs (l/n) is there anything going on that you would like to share with the class?" Since it was a small class it made it easier for the professor to spot any troublemakers.

"No, Sir! Nothing wrong over here." The professor turned back to the board and began to write down the things that would be covered in the class. You only half paid attention as you worried yourself sick over taking the wrong notebook.

"And each of you will need to have a digital or physical copy of the text book by the next class on Wednesday." When the professor wasn't looking you slipped a quick text to Jimin telling him that you had his notebook and he needed to bring yours in an hour when you were done with this class and before you had the next.

----------

The professor dismissed all of you from the lecture and you ran outside to see if Jimin was there. Thankfully he was standing at the entrance with a latte and your notebook, but he wasn't alone. Jungkook, Suga, and Jin accompanied him as well.

"Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! You don't know how much this means to me! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You people are really too kind to me!" Jimin handed you your notebook and a hot drink in exchange for his.

"No problem! We had the day off anyway and were getting bored." He smiled at you and you returned his smile but didn't say anything back.

"So... this is your studies?" Suga asked. "I've seen this place before. It's good I hear."

"Yeah, I'm working on getting my masters in Vocal Music, but I'm taking a part time class so it'll take longer than usual to get it done."

"Wish you good luck for you next class, (y/n)!" The four guys waved bye as you ran across campus to make it to your next class. As the day continued you couldn't help but to think about how kind and warm Jimin was to you and how he brought your notebook when you needed it. Maybe spending a month with these guys wouldn't be so bad.
