Daya P.O.V.:

The Vadhera family sat with us arguing over the theme of Adi's bedroom.

"Let's have the cars theme" Said Priyanka.

"Let's get the room made in the superhero theme." Suggested Dushu.

"Let's get it done in the Thomas and his friends theme." Said Mom.

"No ! All your ideas are super boring. Let's get his room in the Doraemon theme." Shouted Divya.

"That's boring too. Let's get the power rangers theme put up." Said Muskaan.

All the while, Adi sat in Pari's lap staring at everyone. Adi is closer to Pari more than to me and I'm not jealous. It's the kind of bond that a son and a mother share. I shared the same bond with Mom more than with Dad. All I'm waiting for is for him to call me Dad. It's selfish for me to think so. That too, this soon. But, I can wait.

Pari said "Guys, keep quite for sometime. It's Adi's room, so he'll decide what he wants."

She looked at Adi and asked him "Baby, what do you want your room to be like ?"

Adi went closer to her and whispered something in her ear. Pari said "Done."

Everyone started shouting and asking her what the theme was. She screamed "Chill out guys. It's a surprise."

I asked her "Surprise for me too ? If you keep the theme from me, who's going to talk with the architect Pari ?"

She answered "Me. Obviously. I can do the talking Nandu. So, it's mine and my baby's little secret ?"

I asked her "Your baby ? Who am I then ? You use to call me baby until a few days ago."

She replied "Now, this baby is my baby." She said pointing at Adi. She continued "You are my Nandu." She said pointing at me. I pouted while everyone laughed. That's what I wanted, everyone to be smiling and laugh again.

I suggested "Guys, let's go for a vacation. It's a really necessary one for all of us."

Dad said "Your right Daya. We should really go on a vacation. Suggestions ?"

Rakesh suggested "We can go to Pondicherry. It's a beautiful place."

Divya said "Yeah. I've been there. It's a picturesque location."

Mom said "Then, Pondicherry it is. Dushu, book the tickets and the resort." Dushu nodded.

She turned to Pari and said "Pari, call the Malhotra family and inform them the plan."

Pari said "No Maa. This os going to be our vacation. I don't want any kind of a problem between Adi and them. God knows what their mindset is now."

Dad said "Shreya.-"

I cut him off and requested him "Dad, please don't force her." We left the matter behind and continued with our other talks.

I leaned towards Pari and whispered "Hey ! Let's go up."

She asked me "Up where?"

I replied "To our room."

She asked me another question "What for ?" Oh my god Pari ! How do I tell you that I want to go up to spend some time and romance you baby.

I answered "To wash the clothes." In s sarcastic tone.

She looked at me confused and asked "But why ? We have a washing machine don't we ?"

I slapped my forehead. She gave me a smirk. She whispered "I do know why you want me to come up. But I'm not going to. You gotta do something that's going to impress me."

My naughty brain got into action. I gave an evil smirk. I got up from my place and stood up. Everyone looked at me. I kneeled down on my knees and asked her "Mrs. Vadhera, will you please come up to the room with me so that I can make you blush and you know...we can..."

Her eyes widened as she looked at me. Everyone started laughing. I still looked at her waiting for an answer. Dad said "Daya is back to his flirty mode."

Dushu got up from his seat and took Adi from Pari. Mom said "Go Shree. He might eat you up here itself if you delay Amy further." I didn't wait for an answer from Pari. Instead, I picked her up into my arms and carried her to our room while everyone was hooting and teasing. Pari hid her face in my chest clenching my shirt.

I put her down in the room and she said "Nandu, you're out of your mind eh ? How could you say all that infront of everyone ?"

I caged her between my arms and said "I can do anything my baby. You should have known that by now." Saying so, I pecked her lips. She looked at the ground and blushed.

I lifted her up by her chin up and claimed her lips. It's been days since we kissed like this. After we seperated from the kiss, she asked me "Do you remember what's special today ?"

I said "No I don't. Because every single day with you is special for me."

She put her arms around my neck and said "It's been 6 months now since we've been married."

I asked her "Do you think I don't remember ?" She nodded. I continued "I do baby. How can I forget ?"

She said "So, you were trying to be cheesy huh ?" I nodded and she nodded her head in disbelief.

I pulled her closer and said "Don't you think we need to go on a date ?"

She said "We can. If you, like a gentleman, ask me out."

I went on to my knees once again and said "Mrs. Vadhera, you love to see me on my knees, don't you. You want me to be the perfect gentleman for you and I love to be one. Now, on the occasion of our 6 month anniversary, will you let me have the pleasure of taking you out on a dinner ?"

She looked around and said "Hmm.. let me think..."

"Pari, baby, make it fast. My knees hurt." I pleaded.

She bent towards me and pulled my cheeks. "Awww.. my poor baby. I'd love to come out with you." I got up, lifted her up in my arms and spun her around. When I stopped, I rubbed my nose to hers. She smiled to the fullest.

"Pari, your smile can make my day. Just keep smiling forever. No matter what. Your smile is my strength." She came closer to me and finally claimed my lips. It was that kiss that left us light headed and breathless.

We broke our kiss when my mobile rang. It was Mom. I recieved it and mom said "We're taking Adi to the Vadhera Mansion for two days. Happy Mini vacation !" She put down the call before I said anything. Pari looked at me questionably and I informed her what Mom told.

We both then got dressed up. Pari wore a black dress, in which she looked amazing and I wore a blue blazer with a blue denim.

We headed out for dinner. I asked her "Where do you want to go ?"

She answered "There's this hotel by the beach. We can probably go for a candlelight beach dinner there. It's by the marina beach." I nodded and drove towards the Marina beach.

While having dinner, I held her hand and said "Pari, words aren't enough to describe how happy I'm to have you in my life. All I'd like to promise you once again is, I'll never leave your hand no matter what happens." She got up, came and sat in my lap and kissed the corner of my lips.

She said "I promise you the same baby. " She continued to sit in my lap and that's how we completed our dinner. We drove back home and spent a night filled with love and passion.
