                   THE DEAL

"Who exactly are you?" Taehyung asked again when Jimin couldn't say a thing.

He had often wondered what he would say if some one finds out about him not being Jimoon but what he didn't think of is that he will be caught so soon.

"What do you mean by who I am? If it's a joke, I suggest you stop" Jimin said looking nervous even as he moved away from him.

He stood starring at him in silence and when his stare and silence became unbearable, he said....

"If you have nothing else to say then I will head back to class"

Jimin turned to leave only for him to take hold of his hand and push him against the wall while he towered over him.

"You are not Jimoon and I found that out yesterday " he said slowly.

"What do you....."

"Yesterday when I offered you a ride on my bike, you accepted straight away some thing the real Jimoon will never do cause he once told me how scared he is of the bike and there is the ice cream, didn't you find it odd that I ordered ice cream instead of a normal food?" He asked and when he said nothing he continued.

"Am allergic to mint and Jimoon knows that but yesterday you were urging me to have it"

"There's a perfect explanation for that" Jimin replied nervously.

"Then do tell me"

"Have got Amnesia and....."

"I knew the Amnesia thing will be your excuse but the fact is you aren't suffering from Amnesia and you don't know anything about Jimoon's past life because you aren't him" He said cutting Jimin off abruptly.

"Let's say I play along with you and consider you having an amnesia, what about the phone call I got from Jimoon yesterday?" He asked which got looking at him.

"You got a call from Jimoon?"

"Yesterday at the restaurant, remember I got a call. That was from Jimoon" he replied.

"But that's impossible and....."

"Leaving that aside. The one thing I found out which got to believe that you aren't Jimoon is this..." He said pulling his shirt aside to reveal his shoulder.

"What are you doing?" Jimin asked wanting to pull away but he held him back.

"Due to a bullying he received two months ago, he suffered a cut which left a scar on his shoulder but you don't have one. So are you gonna tell me the truth or will you keep denying it?" He asked moving away from Jimin while he pulled back his clothes.

The scar is the most implicating part, Carmen had also recognized him due to him not having the scar and Taehyung also did the same.

He only wanted to help find Jimoon's murderer but he's been caught by this jerk.

"Am still waiting " Taehyung said which got Jimin starring at him.

"I...I am.....I " he was still stuttering when the roof top door open revealing a student.

Seeing this as his chance, Jimin took his things and ran off before Taehyung could stop her.

As soon as he was on the second floor, he stopped by the stairs recalling the whole thing he said.

"Am ruined" he yelled out in frustration earning the attention of the students who were passing by.

He took out his phone wanting to call Carmen while also getting down the stairs, he lost her footing and would have fallen if it hadn't been for the person who pulled at him from behind.

He turn only to see an unfamiliar guy starring down at him with a smile on his face.

"You could have broken a bone or two" he said even as he stood on her own.

"Am sorry, I wasn't paying attention" He replied.

"That's you, not the attention paying boy. It's a good thing you are back Jimoon" He said addressing him by his fake me.

" Am sorry but I don't recognize...."

"I heard you are suffering from Amnesia, so it's only right that you don't recognize me. Am Jackson Wang, a close friend of Taehyung, Namjoon and Hoseok" he introduced himself.

"Oh, nice meeting you but have got to go. See you later" Jimin said even as he dashed off while Jackson watched him go.

~ INFIRMARY ~

"Aren't you going to come to class?" Lisa asked Jimin who lay on the bed with his back turned to them.

"Am not!" He answered slowly.

Going back to class will get him to confront Taehyung and he's not ready for that and so the best thing he can do is to stay away from him and everything that has to do with him.

"Are you afraid of some one?" Jin who was also in the room asked.

"Of course not! Am not afraid of anyone" Jimin replied even as he sat up.

"I think you are and that's why you've lock yourself in the infirmary not wanting to go to class" Lisa added.

"You guys should....." He stop mid way when the door open revealing the excited Suga.

"This is crazy! You guys have got to see this" Suga said in excitement.

"See what?" Jin asked.

"Stop asking and come along" Suga said pulling them one by one including Jimin.

A while later Jimin and his friends stood in front of the notice board with the other students.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Jimin said starring at the names of people who have been grouped in their houses for the up coming sport festival.

"Lisa, Jimoon and I are in team alpha while Jin is in team Diamond " Suga said in excitement.

"Am sure this excitement of yours is only because Taehyung and his friends are on your team" Jin said.

"Who wouldn't be excited, don't feel too sad. You have Jungkook and his friends on your team" Suga replied poking his tongue at Jin.

"This sport thing is silly, they should put an end to it" Lisa muttered.

"I echo that" Jimin added looking sad.

"Am I the only happy one here?" Suga asked just as one of the teacher approached them.

"Some of you might be disappointed in the house you were placed in while some will be excited but just do your best, one of the team will get to win and also don't visit the staff room to ask for favours. It won't be change and so Team Alpha, get to the school hall we've all got to talk. Tell the others that aren't here" The teacher said walking off while some students followed him trying to get him to change the team they were in.

< SCHOOL HALL >

"Until when will you have that face mask on?" Lisa asked Jimin who sat beside her amongst other students who were patiently waiting for their team instructor to arrive.

"I think I have a cold" Jimin muttered while he stared around looking for Taehyung.

He only wanted to stay away from him, infact he was willing to switch class just to make that possible but life has to throw them in the same team.

This is when people tend to use the phrase 'life is unfair'.

Just then the girls began to scream at the arrival of Taehyung, Namjoon, Hoseok and Jackson.

"They are freaking hot!" Suga said as his gaze was solely on Namjoon.

"It's not like they are demi gods or some thing" Lisa muttered while Jimin move close to Lisa wanting to hide himself and it worked.

It worked during the time the teacher addressed them but he just had to pin point him out making him the centre of attraction.

"You will be participating in the marathon right?" The teacher asked.

"I don't think so" Jimin replied while every one let out a groan.

"Participating in the marathon will give us a high score!" A students complained making the rest do the same.

Jimin gaze went to Taehyung who was watching him in return and that stopped him from giving a reply.

"Let's give him some breathing space, it's not all the time that he gets to run the marathon for us" Lisa said In his stead.

"It's okay everyone, since Jimoon can't do it we will just have to find someone else but what I want to tell you is that Taehyung here will be in charge of the training and all. So if you've got a problem or anything to say, feel free to go to Taehyung and your message will get to me"  the teacher said and it was the girls among them let out a loud yes.

"I leave you to handle the rest" The teacher said to Taehyung and his friends.

As soon as Jimin saw the teacher leaving, he quickly went with him using the rest room as an excuse.

< JIMOON'S HOME >

"What! She travelled and didn't leave with her phone?" Jimin asked the maid who was telling him about the whereabout of Carmen.

"Yes. Each time she goes to the temple, she stays there for about two weeks and doesn't take her phone along" the maid replied.

"And there's no other way to contact her?" Jimin asked.

"There's no way" the maid replied making him feel more depressed.

Jimin left the kitchen heading back to his room where he went straight to his bed and lay on it.

"What am I going to do?" He murmured.

He had been hoping to tell Carmen about his problems but with Carmen gone, he doesn't know what to do.

Suddenly getting an idea, he picked up his phone and googled some thing on line.

★ IF YOUR FIANCE BROTHER KNOWS OF A SECRET YOU WANT HIDDEN, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO★  Jimin type out while waiting for answers.

★ THEN YOU HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO SHUT HIM UP ★

★ BRIBE HIM WITH SOME THING IN EXCHANGE FOR HIS SILENCE ★

★ JUST SEDUCE HIM, IT WILL KEEP HIM SHUT ★

"Are this people crazy?" Jimin muttered even as he put his phone away to lay comfortably on his bed once again.

Another message pop into his phone and reluctantly, he picked it up and read its content.

★ TRY TO MAKE HIM UNDERSTAND AND IF HE DOESN'T LISTEN, MAKE A DEAL WITH HIM ★ on reading this he sat up on his bed smiling to himself.

This is just what he needs, he thought already thinking of what deal to strike with him.

< JOONGDONG HIGH~ ROOF TOP >

Jimin got to the roof top where he's meant to meet Taehyung and just like he expect he was waiting for him.

"I thought you were going to stand me up" he said

"Why would I do that when am the one who suggested for us to meet" Jimin replied.

"So you aren't ignoring me again?" Taehyung asked while he nodded.

"You are right, am not not the real Jimoon. Am an imposter who is living his life but then I have my reason, a reason which I can't tell you " he said remembering the promise he made to Carmen not to say a thing to any one.

"Why can't you tell me?" Taehyung asked folding his arms while he waits for his answer.

"Cause it's not for me to tell, it's not up to me to tell you about it but it's for a good cause. So if you would pretend not to know a thing and......"

"So what you are saying is that I help you hide your secret when you aren't willing to tell me the reason for all this false?" He asked and he nodded quickly.

"It's a no and I suggest you tell Jimoon's mom yourself or I will be doing it" Taehyung said as he turned to leave but he took hold of his hand.

"Please! You need to keep this a secret" he said looking desperate.

"Must I? For you?" Taehyung asked even as he pulled his hand out of his.

"Not for me but for Jimoon, the real Jimoon" Jimin pleaded.

"I can't do that and so I suggest you go and tell the truth before I do it myself" he said turning to leave again and quickly he went to obstruct his path.

"What if I.....what if I join the marathon? If I end up winning will that change your mind ?" He suggested......
