Viren's POV

"Get me those fucking files now. Before I fire you!" I said seethingly to my assistant.
She immediately scurried through my office to get back to her own.

I was so angry that I can literally kill someone. I have already fired two of my accountants because they were having their coffee break when they should be in the office working on my Report. And now my assistant is being incompetent

I was still working on my laptop when I heard a commotion outside my office. I was about to pick up my intercom to tell my assistant to look into it when my office door burst open and dad entered with a vexed look.

"What is this Viren!?" he said slamming today's newspaper on my desk. "Dad please relax. Let's sit and talk." Interjected Aarhan rushing in behind him.

"What were you thinking Viren? When you know they follow you everywhere then how can you be so reckless ? " he said looking irritable at me. I reached out to grab that newspaper and when I skim the headlines, I wanted to laugh out loud.

'The Viren Singh 'Alpha male' was once again seen entering his hotel with another supermodel. With his arm around her but what was really astounding this time was two Women instead of one on his side. On further investigation, we found out that the two women were none other than Russian businessman Boris Vladimir's wife and step-daughter.
What is happening here? Is Viren into an older woman now or into a threesome? This is really breaking news.....'

"They are so ubiquitous that it's damn irritating," I said amused. "Oh really when you know this, then why do you do all these things!" he said accusingly."Dad, you know this is nonsense." I can't understand why are they making it such a big deal.

"No Viren it's not! You know who Boris is, and this shit will cost us a lot And board is not happy about this too," he said disappointingly.
"We'll manage it, dad. And what I do is none of the board's concern" I said as a matter of fact.

"No Viren you are mistaken. This is not the only time you have done something reckless. Get your shit together. Otherwise, you'll lose your position." he said in a threatening tone.

"What!?" I said shockingly."You can't do this to me. I gave my everything to this company for the last 4 years. I even left for New York leaving everything here. " I shouted while banging my fist on the table."Oh please we all know why you left to New York and it was not for the company for sure." he said angrily. Hearing him say that literally hurts. when he saw my eyes widened and Aarhan shouting "DAD!!" Then only he realized what he said but it was too late because I was already out of my office and waiting for the elevator. I could still hear shouting from my office and know Aarhan is shouting at dad.

I immediately went to my car in the parking lot and drove towards 'The DEN '. It's the only place I can be right now without anyone disturbing me. Because only boys and I know about it. It's our small sanctuary.

I was making myself a drink when the door to the Apartment opened and in came Aarhan. He didn't say anything rather made himself a drink and took a seat beside me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked after the silence became awkward. "Nothing just having a drink with my brother," he said nonchalantly. I know why he's here."You know right? That was just past. I won't do anything like that again" I said laughing humorlessly."I'm not going to drink until I lose all my senses. Because now I don't feel. So I don't have any reason to get Numb." I said reminiscing my past.

"I believe you Viren and I know you know dad didn't mean that, he was just tense," he said with his brotherly tone.

People always compare us saying Aarhan is the ideal son and I'm the mischievous one who has this dark aura around.

I was still in my thoughts when I heard " YO BROS! the most handsome brother is here. And I got us lunch." only one person can be this delusional "Shaurya I think you should stop dreaming." said Aarhan walking towards him and me following them. "Ya Actually Viren Bhai should get that title. I mean bro both mother and daughter. Woah!" he said mockingly saluting me. I just showed my middle finger and walked into the kitchen to get us some plates and beer. I just heard laughter behind me.

We were enjoying our time watching cricket and eating when suddenly Aarhan got up and said "Shit! I have to leave right now. Otherwise, I'll be late . " he said panicking. "What got your panties in twist bro?" Shaurya asked amused watching Aarhan running around to find his phone.

"I have a date in 45 minutes with Maanya and I'm still not ready," he said with some trepidation. "I think you forgot that you have some clothes here too." I said enjoying his antics."OH yes! I totally forgot. Thanks " he said running off to god knows where.

"So Maanya is the event planner, right? " Shaurya asked to which I nodded. "Woah he's fast." he again said appreciatively. I just smiled at that and continued watching my game.

After I think only 15 minutes Aarhan was out of the apartment.

I guess someone is really excited!

"So are you coming to the club tonight. Riya was pretty consistent about each of us being there." He asked during the break "Nah I guess I'll just stay here tonight. And anyway what am I going to do among her friends?" I said nonchalantly.
"Ya, it would be better because I heard her wedding planners are also coming. And you and that girl don't see eye to eye," he said.

Uh-huh...Crazy girl is coming then I must go!

"On second thought I think I'll come otherwise I'll just get bored here." I said to him "Cool" he replied while typing on his phone.

CRAZY GIRL, HERE I COME.

When we entered the club first thing I heard was intense electronic dance music and then I saw an uber elegant and chic decor, laser beams, neon lights, spacious dance floors, ace mixologists serving delicious cocktails, and obviously a hyperactive/drunk dancing crowd.

I followed Shaurya to what looks like a VIP lounge decked up with red velvet sofas and curtains with huge-ass chandeliers.

The first thing that I saw was Riya and her so-called bitch friends hugging and cackling. I completely ignored them and went towards Abhay and his friends at the private bar.

"Viren! It's so good to see you here man," he said turning towards me I nodded and ordered myself a drink. "So what brings you here? Because as much as I know you hate hanging out with Riya's friends." he got that at point but I can't say why I'm here because I have to know the reason first before I can tell anyone "I was bored so Shaurya forced me to come" I said nonchalantly "Force? Me? why would I do that." confessed Shaurya coming towards us, I glared at him when I saw Abhay smirking."What? I don't lie, Mama will kill me if I lie....." he said when he saw me glaring at him "Mama will have a heart attack if she gets to know about your lies" I said with a straight-face.

It's been 45 minutes of me listening to Shaurya's nonsense and there is still no trace of my crazy girl. My? maybe I'm drunk? but I just had one beer .....

"Hi, handsome!" I heard from beside me and saw a beautiful tall girl wearing a very short lace dress and leaning towards me. I just ignored her and pretended to be busy on my phone. But I guess people don't really get the hint "Can you buy me drink?" she said in her slutty voice...."Why would I do that?" I said in a blunt tone. I mean I'm not here to make friends so kindly leave me alone."Because you're interested in me and thinking about ways to talk to me.." What?? is this girl delusional? when did I do something that indicated her that I'm interested in her. "oh right !" I saw her face lit up when I said that turned towards the bartender to ask for a glass of water. "What is this?" she screeched when she saw a glass of water in front of her. I shrugged and said, "I bought you drink ".......

"Water?" she said angrily .."Ya because it looks like you need this," I said trying to keep my face expressionless when I wanted to fucking smile at her expression. "Douche," she said angrily and walked off.

I smiled and swiveled around in my seat to see what's happening around me when I chocked on air. I blinked twice when I saw her walking in wearing an off-shoulder black thigh-high dress and pair of black heels that made my heart skip a beat and she left her side-parted soft curls to caress her shoulders.

I heard some guys a few steps in front of me talking about her and her friend Aditi. Who was also dressed in a white jumpsuit with hot pink heels? These girls sure know how to make an entry...

"Damn it! Why does she have to dress like this.." I heard Shaurya muttering under his breath. I looked at him with a raised brow to which he just shrugged and walked off towards girls.

I was still sitting on the bar-stool sipping my drink and talking to one of Abhay's friends when I saw her interacting with Riya's friends but you can see she wasn't comfortable at all. After excusing myself from him I went to the loo and when I returned I saw her sitting all alone on the sofa, looking around with uncertainty and nervousness. But when her eyes landed on me I saw her eyes widen for a second and then relief filled them and she started walking towards me at the bar.

"Hi," she said nervously taking a seat beside me. I just nodded at her and asked "drink?" to which she nodded back at me and said "sure....." I shifted my attention to the bartender and said "One beer for me and "I turned towards her "Lemon martini please." she replied with a small smile. The bartender nodded and started making our drink. We were both silent for a while even when our drinks were placed in front of us, I saw her sipping her drink and looking around when I decided to break the silence by saying"So you are going to sit here the entire time? " she immediately turned her attention to me and said, "Ya ?? what else am I suppose to do?" I was really dumbstruck when she looked into my eyes and said that because her eyes tug me towards them like a magnet.
They hold an emotion so pure and innocent that I get lost in them.

And I hate it because nobody can be so pure or good in this world. Everybody does things for their self, they don't care if they hurt someone in their action. And I'm like them too because you can't be successful without being selfish."What do you do in a club crazy girl?" I said mockingly..."I don't know..Clubs aren't my thing" she said while shrugging her shoulders and sipping her drink."So why are you here? To find a sex buddy?" hearing this her reaction was epic she chocked on her drink and after struggling for a second a small amount of her drink projectiles out. I couldn't control myself and laugh out loud. Seeing me laughing she glared at me and said "Enjoying yourself?" to which I replied with a "Thoroughly!" she glared at me once again and stomped off to the washroom. I chuckled to myself and stood up to go towards the railing and watch people dancing below.

I was still nursing my drink when I saw a very familiar silhouette of my brother and Crazy girl's friend making out in the corner and by the looks of it they are going to fuck soon and by knowing my brother it's in the car. "Thank god I brought my own car ...." I mumbled to myself when I heard her voice beside me "Where is she going?" I saw Paakhi looking at Aditi and Shaurya leaving the club."TO FUCK!" I said in duh tone"Why do use those words so nonchalantly?" she said looking at me."What words?Sex?Fuck?" I said enjoying this conversation."yes !yes! these words." she said looking around to see if anyone heard us. I chuckled to myself and mockingly said "Only you my crazy girl is so awkward to use these words in public and drink cocktails in a club. Thus you are no fun" she blushed at my statement and said "I'm not awkward. It's just that..that..uhm .. I don't think these words should be used so nonchalantly and I do drink but at home. And I'm a Very fun Loving person." ...

"Oh, really I can see how much fun you are!" I said smirking. She glared at me and went back to the bar. I too followed her and sat back on my stool.

And heard her ordering a Whiskey for herself. I looked at her and said "You don't have to do this." to which she ignored me and said, "Mr. Khadoos I'm doing this for myself because it' fun and I'm a fun-loving person." I watched her gulping down half of her glass in one go. And knew that she doesn't really drink and is doing this to show me."Slow down, crazy girl." I said but she ignored me and said "Mr. Khadoos it looks like you don't know how to have fun." I smiled at the name she gave me and saw her turning towards a lanky looking guy who has just approached her. Seeing them talking my dour mode was on.

"Hi, beautiful! what is someone as beautiful as you doing in this club all alone ?" he said in his grating voice. I mean who says this to someone? I waited for Paakhi to reply and what she said made me laugh out loud. She said "Ya what can I say I'm a single mom out to have a little fun when my kids are away." in a very dramatic voice. I covered my laugh with a cough when the guy turned to see me."It doesn't look like you are having fun here. Come with me I'll take you to heaven." he said in his what he thought to be a sexy voice but it came out as a croak. This guy really needs to work on his pickup lines."No mate a devil-like me can't go to heaven" she said while sipping her drink. I can see she's tipsy, not drunk but I'm really enjoying her comebacks ...Who knew this crazy girl can be a little vixen when she's tipsy."But you don't look like a devil but a very sexy angel."....
"Nah man, my ex told me that I'm a devil when he heard about my chlamydial infection and left me." I don't even know what she's talking about because it doesn't make sense at all but I was all too happy when I heard that guy retreating back while muttering "You have chlamydia..?" she turned towards me and said "That was too much work!" while she shook her head. I looked her in the eye and saw them turning a little bit glossy."One more glass of whiskey please." she ordered and I immediately canceled her order and then told her "Crazy girl I think that's enough you shouldn't drink much" to which she whined and said, "But the fun has just started!" I chuckled at her and saw her getting up and making her way towards the small staircase which leads to the dancefloor below.

I immediately stood up and paid for our drinks and rushed towards the railing to keep an eye on her. I saw her making her way towards the center of the floor where Riya and Abhi were dancing. She then hugged Maira who I saw just now, they both started jumping around like a pair of monkeys. They were giggling and jumping and grinding against each other. Seeing her dancing made me remember our dance together at Riya's engagement party. It was beautiful we didn't say anything to each other but it was as if our eyes were talking and that time I knew that this crazy girl is dangerous for me. I was about to go back to the bar when I saw two guys dancing very close to them and gradually one of them tried to touch her.

I know these types of guys so I walked down towards the dancefloor and slowly but steadily snaked my arms around her. She immediately turned around and wrapped her arms around my neck all the while smiling at me. I unconsciously tightened my hold on her and started swaying us. After few seconds she mumbled in my ear "You know we are the only one dancing like this on an upbeat song" I looked around us and laughed because all around us people were jumping or kissing but we were the only ones slow dancing."But it feels right." I said to which she hummed and actually this feels right her in my arms......

After I don't know how much time she started yawning so I decided to take her home."Crazy girl, let's go home" I whispered in her ear to which she just nodded. I took her hand in mine and we decided to leave.

In the parking lot, I didn't wait for the valet but walked straight to my car and noticed Shaurya's car missing. Thank god I brought my car!

I was still holding her hand when she said "Thanks Mr. Khadoos." I looked at her and then asked "For what?" while opening the passenger door for her. She sat inside and after closing her door I went towards the Driver side. "For being there when I was all alone and made me enjoy my self for once. I felt free after so many years." I looked towards her to see her already looking at me. I know I shouldn't do this but still for the first time in my life, my mouth and my mind weren't in sync and I said "Will you go out with me tomorrow for dinner?" I saw her eyes widen for a second and her smile broadened "Are you asking me out Mr.Singh?" she said mockingly.

"No just a dinner so I can tell you what things you did today when you were tipsy." I said in my 'I don't care tone'."I guess ." she said still smiling. Don't! Don't! I repeated to my heart but still, it skipped a beat watching her smile.....

We reached her apartment building after she gave me her address and when she left my car I felt a small feeling of incomplete in my heart........
