Banglore
Ananya reached Banglore airport at night  10. Her father is standing at the exit gate of the airport. Ananya walks towards her father with a smile.

"How are you baccha?", Ananya's father asked while taking her in a bone crushing hug.

"I am good dad. How are you"? She asked.

"How will I be when my daughter is far away", her dad said while keeping her bags in the car.

Ananya didn't say anything , she just looked away from her father with teary eyes. Her father saw her face and understood that something is bothering her daughter so he tried to lighten up her mood and said he is absolutely fine. Ananya gave him a small smile and sat in the passenger seat.

During the whole ride she is awfully quite. She is looking outside the window and  seeing the changes in this city from past two years. Two years which changed her life. Two years in which she lost herself as well as her near and dear ones.

They reached their home and Ananya saw her mother and sister waiting for her at the entrance. She ran towards her mom and hugged her followed by her sister. All four went inside the living room and got settled there.

"How are you both?"Ananya asked.

"We are good. How are you?" They asked Ananya.

"I am good too", Ananya replied.

"Ananya go and get freshen up then we will talk", Ananya's father told her.

Ananya got up taking her bags and went to her room. Nothing had changed in this house. It give her same warmth which she received two years back. She is feeling as if she is in heaven. She got inside her room and kept her bags and went to freshen up.

On the other side in the living area Ananya's parents and her sister are waiting for her.

"I think there is a solid reason behind Ananya's arrival. She said she is coming for some seminar but I doubt it is true", Ananya's mom said.

"Yes even I agree. Let her come we will ask her about her arrival as well as why she stopped coming to Banglore", Ananya's dad said.

Ananya came after some time and sat beside her sister.

"Ananya now tell us the reason of your arrival", Ananya's dad asked.

"Dad Rehana..Rehana", Ananya couldn't complete her sentence as a lump has been formed in her throat and she is on verge of crying.

"Rehana what Ananya?"her mother asked while sitting beside her.

"Mom Rehana is suffering from cancer", Ananya informed her parents while crying.

There is a pin drop silence for next few minutes ,all three are shocked by this information. Ananya is crying sitting on the couch and now her mother is consoling her.

"Ananya are you in contact with her family?" Ananya's father asked.

"No dad", Ananya said while wiping her tear from the back of her palm.

"Then how did you come to know di", Simran asked.

"Karan told me", Ananya said.

"Who is karan?" Her father asked.

"He is the doctor whom Rehana's family as contacted for her treatment", Ananya said.

"And how you know him?" Her sister asked.

"He is my friend", Ananya replied.

"When did you come to know about her?", Ananya's mom asked.

"Yesterday night", Ananya said and then told them the whole story of how she came to know about Rehana's cancer.

Flashback..
"Do you know them?", Ananya asked shocked to karan.

"Ya the girl in this photo has cancer and this guy her husband has come to the hospital with her for her treatment a year back. But after running tests I got to know that we can't do a surgery and she has to take chemotherapy. They were devastated hearing this. After that I recommended them a doctor in Banglore as Armaan said that Rehana will stay there with her parents and now she is taking her treatment there",karan said.

Ananya sat on the bed with a thud and began sobbing. Karan got scared seeing her and ran towards her. He took her in his arms and gently tried to console her.

"Hey stop crying and please tell me how you know them?" Karan asked.

"Even Armaan is in Banglore?"Ananya asked lifting her head from karan's chest.

"No, I told you that I wanted you to meet someone on diwali? It was none other then Armaan", karan said.

"Oohh", Ananya said.

"Atleast now tell me how you know them", karan asked.

"Rehana was my best friend until two years back", Ananya said while crying again.

"Hey.. hey calm down", karan told her while taking her again in his arms.

After sometime when Ananya finally stopped crying karan made her lie on bed and covered her with a quilt.

"Karan give my phone to me plese", Ananya said.

Karan gave her the phone and Ananya first called her boss and told him that she is going to Banglore and will return back on Monday to office. Then she called her parents and informed them that she will be in Banglore tomorrow night so they should cancel there tickets to Mumbai.

Ananya told all this to her parents.

Karan wanted to ask Ananya about her broken relation with Rehana but he again thought it is better to be quite at this time.

"Ananya sleep now and tomorrow I am dropping you to airport", karan said.

Ananya just nodded her head and karan gave her a kiss on forehead and went away from there.

End of Flashback

Both have not thought that their perfect date will be ruined this way. Karan felt bad looking at Ananya's condition but he couldn't do anything for her at this time until she tells him the complete story. And on the other hand Ananya is not able to digest the fact that her best friend is fighting with death. She has never wished this thing for her bitter enemy as well.

"So you are going to meet her", her father asked.

"Yes dad , I will meet her on wednesday", Ananya informed to her parents.

"Ok then we will come with you", her mom said.

"No mom , I want to go alone there please", Ananya requested.

"Ok", her father said after sometime.

"But atleast tell us what has happened between you two that once who couldn't leave a single day without talking to each other has not seen each other from last two years and had also restricted the parents to not keep any connection with each other", her mom asked.

"Mom plese don't ask me this as I have no answer for this", Ananya said while going away to her room.

"What had happened to this girl? She was not like this before?" Her mom asked.

"I am telling you both for the last time , don't ask Ananya about this next time", Ananya's dad said and went to his room. Ananya couldn't sleep today night as well , she kept turning and tossing on the bed. Whenever she closes her eyes she just see that day which changed her life forever. The day which she lost her best friend, the day on which she lost herself.

After some time Simran entered Ananya's room.

"Di , is this karan your boyfriend", Simran asked mischievously.

"What? No he is just my close friend",Ananya replied.

"Is he hot?" Simran asked.

"I don't know", Ananya said while trying to dismiss the topic.

"Ok then give me your phone I will see whether he is hot or not", Simran said while taking Ananya's phone from night stand.

"Simran no", Ananya tried to snatch her phone but Simran has already sent karan's number to her phone through watsapp.

After talking for some time Simran went back to her room.

Next day Ananya got up and after doing her morning chores she got dressed in a formal attire. Today is the seminar which will start by 10. She came to the dinning area and saw her parents and sister are waiting for her. She wished them and took her seat.

"Wow mom today you made my favourite breakfast", Ananya said smiling.

Her parents saw her this smile after a long time and were happy to see her like this.

"See dad I told you na mom love di more then me", Simran said pouting.

Ananya showed her the tongue while her parents were laughing seeing both the girls. Ananya finished her breakfast and after bidding bye to her parents she went to the auditorium were the seminar is to be conducted.

Whole day passed in the seminar and Ananya meet some of her friends there but got more then happy to meet Sourabh after a long time.

"Ananya let's go for dinner", Sourabh said.

"Hmm no yaar mom and dad will be waiting for me", Ananya said.

"Have dinner with them tomorrow na please. I want to tell you so many things please come na", Sourabh requested her with a pout.

"Ok let's go", Ananya said with a smile.

On the way to the restaurant Ananya informed her mother about her dinner plan and she was more then happy to know Ananya getting normal.

They had there dinner in a posh restaurant and catch up with each other lives in past two years. Ananya got happy to know that soon Sourabh is going to get engaged.

After the dinner Sourabh dropped Ananya home. When she reached home she saw her parents have already slept while Simran is studying. She changed in her night wears and went to sleep.

Ananya is nervous as she will be meeting Rehana after two years. Many questions are running in her mind. With all the worries she tried to sleep.

Next morning Ananya got up at 8 and after doing her morning chore and breakfast she is ready to leave.

"Ananya are you sure you don't want us to accompany you?"  Her mother asked.

"Yes mom , I am sure and it is not like I am going to some battle field. I am going to meet my best friend not some goons", Ananya said fake laughing.

Ananya's mom can very well understand how are daughter is acting to be chilled out but she is scared to meet her friend. Whatever may be reason between the two but she prays that today all the misunderstandings get clear and she gets her Ananya back.

Ananya bid bye to her parents and took her car and went to Rehana's place. She is very nervous to meet Rehana but she has to meet her and clear the misunderstanding.

Rehana parked her car and is standing outside Rehana's house door. With all her strength she pressed the bell and after two minutes Rehana's mom opened the door.

"Ananya what a pleasant surprise", Rehana's mom said taking Ananya in a warm hug.

"How are you aunty and how's uncle", Ananya asked.

"We are fine beta, how are you?" Rehana's mom asked.

"I am good aunty", Ananya said.

"So you came to know about Rehana's disease?" Rehana's mom asked.

Ananya just nodded her head in yes with tears in her eyes. Rehana's mom told Ananya to go and meet Rehana in her room.

Ananya is standing in front of Rehana's bedroom and with shaky hands she opened the door of Rehana's bedroom. When she enters the room she sees her friend in an unimaginable condition. One cloth is tied on her head as she has lost her hairs. Rehana's eyes were closed till now but she felt someone's presence in her room so she opened her eyes and is shocked to see the person in front of her. She had tears in her eyes as well as Ananya has tears in her eyes.

"Oohh so you got to know about me?"Rehana asked...
