"I can't believe we're here" crossing my arms as we are in Volterra. It's been a week since Demetri engaged and his friends wish to meet me, so I agreed to come meet his friends. But we are not joining the coven, that much is certain.

"Trust me" Demetri says "you'll love my friends, their great people" opening the doors to some place, people look our way and I notice someone who I hate.

"You" I hiss at the vampire with pale skin, brown hair and red eyes.

"Heidi?" Jane asks "why does Demetri's mate hate you?"

"She's the woman who told me she was your wife" I explain "she also said she was pregnant" the room is silent as we stare at this Heidi.

"Demetri" she stutters "are you going to believe this whore"

"That whore" he grabs her by her neck squeezing tightly "is my mate?!" Roaring at him "Your the reason left!" Throwing her across the room before picking her up and started to rip her apart. She screams in agony that the doors open and three people come in.

"What is going on?" The angry blonde demands

"Masters" Jane says "this is RJ, Demetri's mate" they look at me "RJ this is Aro, Caius and Marcus. It appears Heidi was the one who told RJ that Demetri was married and was expecting a child"

"Hello" Aro smiles coming over and takes my hand, he laughs "just like her sister, I can't see anything"

"I missed my daughter being born!" Demetri throws Heidi to the floor as she cries "I missed years of her life! I nearly lost my mate because of you!"

"Please" she begs

"Now Demetri" Aro places a hand on Demetri's shoulder "don't kill Heidi"

"You've got to be fucking kidding me" we look over and I see Tori, she's a representative of the witch community "this vampire messed with a mateship and you don't do anything about it? She's to be dealt with by us witches since she harmed a mateship with a witch" she snaps her fingers and Heidi is placed in chains before being dragged out of here by two other witches "this is the final straw Aro Volturi"

"Wait!" Caius calls out as the kings go after Tori

"Okay" Alec says "RJ, this is Santiago, Afton, Renata, Chelsea-Afton's mate and finally Corin"
