Its been a week and a half since i got out of the hospital. I was there for a week. I've been having stomach issues for about 6 months but didn't really speak up about it until about 3 weeks ago. My mom took me to my pediatrician for my check up and they decided to check my hemoglobin (some weird blood thing) A low level for people my age is a 10.0... my level was a 7.3 (at the hospital, it dropped down to a 6.3). My doctor told my mom and I to go and get immediate blood tests done at the hospital. The tests showed that I had inflammation in my intestines and that I'm so severely anemic that it's surprising that i can turn fast without passing out. We were told to go to the emergency room... I was admitted into the hospital. They ran a few more blood tests, an endoscopy and colonoscopy, x-rays, and an MRE. They found out that I'm vitamin D deficient, anemic and iron deficient. They also found out that I have Ulcerative Colitis and Scoliosis. I have to go back to the hospital on tuesday to get a medicine infusion :((. Later in the month i also have to go see an orthopedic doctor dude about my scoliosis. :(
