Well, being half deaf doesn't mean you're gonna be more blessed than anyone else. People tease me not only because of my hearing aid but because they think I couldn't hear them if they start lowering their voices- I always wanna say "I can still hear you".. It sucks to have people come up to you and talk in the bad ear JUST to see if your joking, cause it sure happens a lot to me..
