Lissa on recognizing Lilly is fuming inside. She wants to confront Austin about this but she can't as Mr. Clive is there, she is in his company as well as she is not Austin's girlfriend but best friend. She while talking to Austin trying her best to put fake smiles on her face but from one corner of her eye, she is glaring Lilly. She observes that how Austin in between their talk manages to have a glance at Lilly. She can sense it, that something is going on within Austin regarding Lilly, something that is not a good sign for her relationship with Austin.

Lilly is also not at ease. Though she is pretending in front of Ava that she is completely fine on seeing Austin with Lissa buttttt inside her heart is having a throbbing pain.

Whereas Austin is neither aware of Lilly's feelings nor Lissa's. Ava and Lilly have finished their coffee and hence left from there. Lissa wants to go home as she can't hold the things anymore and says, "Austin now I will take leave."

Austin says, "Why are you leaving this soon? You came here as you were bored. You should stay more."

Lissa calmly replies, "I remember that I got some errands to run hence I should leave now."

Austin says, "Okay... See you soon!!"

Lissa smiles softly and left.

Mr. Clive Brooks goes to the Food and Hygiene department and announce, "Hello everyone... I have already decided the in charge for inspection. The name of new in charge is Lilly Marker."

Everyone claps for Lilly while she is astounded on hearing this. Ava and Daniel are extremely happy for her. Ava pat on her shoulder and says to stand as Lilly is still absorbing this.

Lilly with bowing her head slightly to everyone says, "Thankyou everyone. Thankyou Sir for giving me this opportunity. I am privileged on knowing this."

Mr. Clive says, "So in two days inspection is there and you have very tight time left. So, for next two days you have to work hard."

Lilly with all her confidence says, "I will do my best."

It's the end for the day in office and Lilly is wandering that Austin knows about her selection or not. She wants to share this news with him.

Lilly and everyone have left the office. She is searching for her car keys from her purse and when she lifted her head, she sees Austin right in front of her. She is scared hence gasp on Austin's sudden appearance and says, "You here?! Is there something?"

Austin puts a wide smile on his face. His happiness is reflecting in his greenish black eyes and says, "Sorry for scaring you but I came here to congratulate you... Congratulations Lilly....!!!"

Lilly on hearing this is now Over the Moon as she has never expected that Austin will come and personally congratulate her or maybe she was actually expecting something from him but not thisss muchhh and says, "You know this already?"

Austin with a smirk on his face replies, "I am the one who come to know about this right after Mr. Clive Brookes mind."

Lilly chuckles on his reply and says, "Well Thank you!!! I am grateful that you came to congratulate me."

Austin says, "I will be more grateful if you will allow me to congratulate properly."

Lilly got little surprised and says, "Huhh??"

Austin replies, "I want to take you to the best ice-cream parlor to eat chocolate ice-cream."

Lilly is astonished on this but is really confused that what she should say. She obviously wants to go with him but is it appropriate or not and hence asks, "I can't believe that you remember that I love to eat chocolate ice cream. But is it okay for a boss to congratulate his employee this much personally? You congratulate all your employees like this only?"

Austin beams on this and by fixing his eyes in Lilly's eyes says, "I remember each and every detail of all our interactions till date. Definitely I don't congratulate personally to my employees like this but you are not just an employee to me. Any further inquiry officer Lilly? Or we can leave now?"

Austin after saying this started heading towards his car.

Lilly grins on this situation and runs after Austin while saying, "Hey... Wait... At least give me a moment..." She follows Austin to his car and sat in his car.

Austin started driving and feels ecstatic. They didn't utter anything during ride also the parlor is not that far. They reached there and ordered chocolate ice-creams.

Lilly after having her first bite closes her eyes and lost for few seconds till the ice cream melts in her mouth and says, "This is so much nice. I can't say that how good this flavor is. You have a great taste indeed."

Austin is enjoying Lilly's reaction and says, "I am glad you liked it."

Lilly says after few minutes of silence, "You called me officer before in parking... I am just going to be in charge for first time yet not became an officer."

Lilly after saying this started digging her scoop again.

Austin replies, "The way you always inquire me I can see that day is not far when you will become an officer in your department."

Lilly says, "It's because of your actions and ambiguous words. Like you also said that I am just not an employee to you. What does that mean?"

Austin sighs and says, "Not again Lilly. I said it as I mean it but I can't explain it you now."

Lilly raises her eyebrows on this and says, "Fine...!!! You said that you didn't have any girlfriend but I saw you with a beautiful woman today in cafeteria."

Austin is little surprised and says, "You noticed!"

Lilly replies, "No... Not me but Ava keeps blabbering about you and her hence just had a glance."

Austin chuckles on this and says, "She is not my girlfriend but best friend. We are close since childhood."

Lilly's jealous reaction is clearly visible on her face hence, Austin is enjoying this and says, "You seem to be jealous."

Lilly on hearing this rolled her eyes, laughed slightly and says, "Huhh... Why the hell I will be jealous with her. I didn't have anything in my mind so that I would be jealous of her. You are the one who is jealous around Daniel. Isn't it?"

Austin is stunned on this and started coughing whilst Lilly grins.

Austin replies, "Daniel is notorious that's it. I am not jealous or anything."

Austin continued eating his ice-cream while Lilly is smiling and watching Austin.

Austin in his mind says, "Lilly you have robbed my heart. When will you realize this?"

They both then went again to the parking and Lilly left for her home in her car. She merrily explains her parents that how she got selected for in charge position. Lilly's parents are so happy on knowing this.

For next two days Lilly has worked hard as she wants to give her best. Ava and Daniel also helped her as much as they can. Austin has been observing Lilly from far away only as he doesn't want to distract her. He also feels proud somewhere of Lilly that how much keen she is for learning about inspection.

Finally, the day arrives Lilly is all ready for inspection. She checks each and every detail that she has learned and after spending almost her day on food products. She finally approves them for sending to test.

Next day Mr. Clive Brookes comes in the department and searches for Lilly. His face is red and everyone can see that a storm is brewing.

Lilly comes and Mr. Clive started yelling at Lilly, "Lilly I can't believe that you can be this much careless. It's all my fault I must have known that someone like you with average grades actually knows nothing about Hygiene."

"I thought to give you chance but do you have any idea that what you have approved."

"The products that came yesterday you have approved them and send them ahead for the testing under the label of MSK Industries. Among them 80% of food was toxicated. The amount of heavy metals was above the limit."

"Even though you are new here but this silly mistake is forbidden. It can only happen as the result of carelessness."

"Do you have any answers?"

Everyone is petrified on seeing Mr. Brookes anger. Lilly is numb after knowing all this but she tries to speak intermittently, "Sir, trust me I have checked those details. How can I approve such food products? I have definitely checked them."

Mr. Brookes in a furious way says, "Lilly you can't keep lying on this. You should now be ready to face consequences."

He left after saying this and everyone around Lilly gave her a displeased look. She can feel that how each and every eye is giving her a strange stare. Ava and Daniel try to console Lilly. Daniel tries to shut gossips of everyone around.

But Lilly still can't absorb this. She is actually feeling nothing and says, "Daniel, Ava please give me some time."

She left from there and headed towards lobby. This news is spreading like a fire in whole office and people around her giggles and left her way. She is drinking water now and two girls came they intentionally throws water on Lilly's dress but said sorry for it. Their sugar-coated sorry is clearly understood by Lilly but she doesn't want to argue with anyone. Nobody is there around her now and since last half an hour she is trying her best that the tear that is trying to come out from her eyes don't fall on her face. She is hiding her emotions very well.

Suddenly on lifting her face with blurry eyes filled with tears she sees someone coming towards her with a great speed and suddenly he takes off his coat and wrap that coat on Lilly. He takes out a pen and come closer to Lilly's face he ties all her hairs in a messy bun and hugs her tightly.

The smell, the warmth makes Lilly realizes that its none other than Austin. Austin is grazing his hands-on Lilly's hairs and says, "Please don't worry. I believe you. I am with you."

A/N: I really have no idea that you all will like this little twist or not but this was required as if everything is going straight then how will their love blooms.
