Penelope Rose
new girl at h.a.
Feeling = Annoyed 😒

Penelope Rose was at her locker, gathering her books when her girlfriend, Jade, came up to her. She slammed the locker closed and kissed Penelope.

They've been together for a year, but then Jade had started eyeing Beck. Penelope did agree that Beck was a handsome guy. It took some time to get Beck to become part of their relationship. Who wouldn't?

Penelope was hot, Jade was hot, and Beck was hot. It made perfect sense to them. He seemed to take the whole thing as a bit of a joke, even though they had seen him eyeing the both of them, so he clearly liked them. He finally got the hint that they wanted him to be a third.

Jade pulled away from her to text Beck that the both of them were going to Sikowitz's class so can he save a seat for them, thanks.

Penelope opened her locker again, grabbed a book, and stuffed it in her messenger bag.

She closed her locker and Jade grabbed her hand so they can walk to Sikowitz's sclass together.

When they walked in, some girl was rubbing Beck.

Jade demanded, "Dude, why are you rubbing our boyfriend?"

The new girl started stuttering, "I just – I spilt coffee on—"

"Get away from him," Jade ordered, motioning with her hand for the new girl to move.

Maybe she was intimidated by their clothes.

Penelope was wearing a black and dark gray striped crop top, a red plaid skirt with black lace, dark red thigh-high socks and black combat boots.

The only thing that seemed like it didn't go with her outfit was her owl pocket watch necklace.

It had been a birthday gift from her twin sister, Isadora. It was something that she couldn't part with.  Her gift to Isadora was to get matching tattoos of a paper airplane. She had it on her right arm.

It certainly didn't match her left arm tattoo.

"Relax," Beck told Jade, smiling widely, as he walked to them.

He enjoyed it when Jade was possessive over him. He said that it made him feel loved and wanted. There were moments when he wanted the trust, which Penelope sometimes gave him, and moments when he wanted to be possessed, which Jade freely gave to both Beck and Penelope.

He kissed them both on the cheek before.

They went to sit down, but before they could, Sikowitz ran in through the other door, yelling, "Oh my god, there's a huge fire!"

Penelope grabbed Jade's and Beck's arms and pulled them to the door as everyone rushed to it.

"Kidding, kidding," Sikowitz shouted, calming everyone down. "I just wanted to get your blood pumping, which I did. Ha!" He slammed the door closed, "All right." He moved to the small stage and whiteboard, "Now let's get started. Rumps in chairs."

Penelope glared at the teacher as they went to sit down. However, it was just their luck because the new girl was sitting in front of them. Beck put one arm around the back of Jade's chair and took Penelope's hand.

"He's our teacher?" the girl asked André.

André nodded.

Penelope liked André. He was the first friend that she and Isadora had made when they started at Hollywood Arts. Then Isadora found other friends so it left Penelope and André to be friends, then they joined a ping-pong team that wasn't actually a ping-pong team, and then Penelope met Jade, Beck, Cat, and Robbie with his stupid puppet, Rex, which Robbie had made abuse him for some reason.

"Okay, first, I'd like to introduce our new student, Tori," Sikowitz said.

A few people gave a bored sounding round of applause and Penelope faked a yawn.

"And I'd like to thank Tori for her generous gift of two dollars which she handed me outside this morning. Not necessary but much appreciated," Sikowitz said, showing off the money he had received.

Something about Tori rubbed Peneope the wrong way, and not because Tori was rubbing on her boyfriend.

André asked the new girl, "Why'd you give him two dollars?"

"I thought he was homeless," Tori defended herself.

"Now today, we're going to continue our study in group improv," Sikowitz said. "Tori, I assume you're familiar with improv?"

Tori shook her head, "No."

Sikowitz explained what improv was and said, "Excellent. Jade, you will captain the first group of the day, choose your actors."

Jade got up and with a sigh, she said, "Cat, Penny, Beck, and Tori."

Penelope and Beck got up to go to the stage with Cat and Tori.

Sikowitz said, "Okay, let's give them a place."

"Home," Robbie stated.

"Home," Sikowitz repeated, writing it on the white board.

"Real creative," Rex stated.

"You be quiet," Robbie responded. He made the puppet 'slap' him in the face, "Ow."

Penelope thought that Robbie needed to see a therapist if he thought that was normal behavior, because it wasn't.

"And now we need a situation," Sikowitz stated.

"Big news," André called out.

"André, nobody wants to see big nudes," Sikowitz told him, sounding a bit concerned for the teen.

"News," André corrected him.

"Ah, well, that's different," Sikowitz said. He said, "Big news!" He wrote it on the board and underlined it twice.

In a fake sweet voice, Jade said to Tori, "Why don't you go wait in the hall?"

"Um, okay?" replied Tori, leaving the room to go into the hall. Cat and Penelope looked at each other, before Cat went to the side of the stage and crouched down to play with imaginary toys. Penelope followed Cat's lead.

"Okay, at home, big news," Sikowitz started, running to the back of the classroom. "And action!" He took a coconut from somewhere on his person to consume its milk because he claimed it gave him visions.

"Hey, babe," Jade said to Beck. "How was work today?"

Beck said, "Uh, I got fired?"

Penelope asked, "Again?" She and Cat had gotten off the ground.

"Our daddy's a loser," Cat stated.

"The biggest," Penelope agreed.

"Its okay, girls," Jade said to her 'children'. "I have great news that will cheer up this whole family."

Penelope asked, "What news?"

"Yeah, tell us," Cat added.

"I went to the animal shelter and got us a dog," Jade said, going to let Tori in from the hall.

"Uh, yep, I'm the new family dog. Woof," Tori said, confused.

Jade said, "Sikowitz, will you please tell this amateur that dogs can't talk. And they don't walk on two legs."

Penelope looked to see that Sikowitz was leaning against the wall, drinking from a coconut. Was he even paying attention? She yelled, "Sikowitz!"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I was sucking the milk out of this coconut." To Tori, he said, "But Jade is right. If you're gonna play a dog, be a dog."

Tori seemed to roll her eyes and got down on her hands and knees. "Woof!"

"And action!" yelled Sikowitz.

"Uh, I went to the animal shelter and got us a dog," Jade repeated, starting off from where she left off.

"Wow," Cat said.

"Thanks, mommy," Penelope said, pretending to pat Tori's shoulder.

Jade took a lock of Tori's hair and said, "Uh-oh, looks like the dog has bugs in her fur."

Tori was confused, "Uh, woof?"

Cat and Penelope got off the floor and away from Tori, making sounds of disgust.

Jade was smirking, "Oh, it's fine. I read online that coffee is great for getting rid of fur bugs." She walked offstage and grabbed an iced coffee from a student. She walked towards the stage.

Beck started, "Maybe you shouldn't, um—"

"Jade," André warned.

Penelope was confused, "What are you—?" Jade slowly poured the coffee over Tori's head, causing Tori's mouth to open in shock. "Yeah, okay."

Jade dumped the rest of the contents on Tori's head.

Tori got up to face Jade.

Jade was smirking at her, "What's the prob...dog?"

Tori ran out of the classroom.

Isadora and Penelope were home alone, again. Their mom, Charlotte, was a former singer in an all-female rock band called The Sugar Dolls. Charlotte retired from singing to become a corporate executive while the twins' father, Daniel, was a lawyer who had originally studied to become a doctor, but became a lawyer instead. To help put himself through university, he did some acting and modeling, before retiring to go to medical school and then law school. So, they had a shit ton of money and a large two-story, five bedroom house to show for their hard work.

"I heard your girlfriend made the new girl drop out just after one day," Isadora said, chucking her backpack onto the couch and going to the kitchen.

Penelope followed after her to see what was for dinner, "Yeah. Jade made her cry."

Isadora asked, "Why?"

"She was rubbing coffee off of Beck," Penelope replied. She looked in a pot to see chili and she got some bowls from a cabinet, while Isadora got a ladle.

Isadora asked, "And how did coffee get on him?"

"She spilt it on him," Penelope replied.

The next day, everything was going well so far. Penelope came in through the window because it was actually fun and she has an imagination. One of her favorite book series, Skulduggery Pleasant, actually has that exact thing of going through windows, 'because doors are for people with no imagination'.

Sikowitz came in through the window, which wasn't anything new either, and Tori wasn't around, so she sat next to Beck, who had taken her hand and was playing with it.

All was well...

Until the door opened and Tori walked in.

Jade sat up straighter in her seat.

"Tori," Sikowitz said surprised, "You're back." Tori nodded. "Have you ever thought about coming in through the window?"

"No," Tori replied.

"Think about it," Sikowitz said. "Sit, sit!" Tori sat in a chair. "Okay, today, we're going to do some alphabetical improv. 'What is alphabetical improv?' you ask. So, I answered. It's when we give a letter to the first actor who speaks in the scene. If we used the letter 'a' as an example, then the actor must make his first word start with the letter 'a', which might go something like..." He walked over to Beck and pointed,

"Apples are falling out of my butt," Beck said and gave a cheeky smile.

Penelope smiled at him.

"Lovely," Sikowitz said sarcastically. "Now the next actor who speaks must start his line with the next letter in the alphabet. In this case, 'b.' So, he might say..." He stood behind André, putting his hands on the teen's shoulders and rested his face on André's head.

"Bring those apples so we may all enjoy the fresh fruit from Beck's butt," André stated.

"Charming," Sikowitz deadpanned, looking slightly disappointed.

Penelope had found that if Sikowitz finds something weird, it's weird. And if you creep Sikowitz out, it means that you're a goddamn freak, which is ironic considering 'psycho' was in Sikowitz's name.

Sikowitz went to the stage and asked, "Now, who wants to lead the first group?"

"I do," Tori said immediately, putting her hand in the air.

"All right, Tori, choose your actors," Sikowitz stated.

"Okay," Tori said, getting to the stage, "André, Cat, Beck, and Jade."

Penelope crossed her leg and looked at Tori, suspicious.

Jade arched an eyebrow at that.

"Yeah, you," Tori told her.

Jade got up, grabbed Beck, and kissed him very hard, to prove a point.

"Jade, kiss your boyfriend on your own time," Sikowitz stated.

"Oh, I will," Jade said flirtatiously to Beck.

Sikowitz said, "Okay, if you start the line on the wrong letter—" He made a buzzer sound, stomping his bare foot on an empty chair, "You're out. Robbie, give us a letter."

"P," Rex called out.

Robbie had a small spat with his puppet, which Penelope ignored.

"'P,'" Sikowitz said. "Okay, the scene can be anything you want, the first letter of the first line is P. Tori, action."

"Please go take a shower," Tori said to Jade.

"Quit telling me what to do," Jade replied.

"Relax, girls. Let's all try to get along," Beck chimed in.

"Totally!" agreed Cat.

Sikowitz made the buzzer sound, "Cat, your line had to start with an 'S."

Cat groaned, "My life's the worst."

"Here's a piece of candy," Sikowitz said, bored, far used to Cat's mood swings.

"Yay, I love candy," Cat said, going to get a piece of candy.

"Okay, André, letter 's' to you," Sikowitz said.

"Uh, something just bit my toe," André said.

"Turtle, that turtle bit his toe," Tori said, fumbling a little.

"Unbelievable that you're even here," Jade told Tori.

"Very immature of you to say that," Beck said to Jade.

Why was Beck defending Tori, Penelope wondered.

"Come on, André, letter 'w'," Sikowitz encouraged.

André asked, "What if the turtle bite broke my toe bone?"

"X-rays are the only way to find out," Tori said.

"You should shut up!" Jade growled at Tori.

"Zap! I just healed your toe with my magic finger," Beck said, trying to bring the improv back onto the scene they were doing.

"Thanks," André said without thinking.

Sikowitz buzzed André out, "André, your line had to start with an 'a'. Sit down!"

"Aww, I just got my toe bone fixed," André complained. Penelope gave him a small smile out of comfort, because he tried his best.

"Tori, letter 'a' to you," Sikowitz told her.

"Aliens are the only people who can heal toe bones by finger zapping," Tori said.

"By the way," Jade said and blew a raspberry at Tori.

"Correct, I am an alien," Beck said.

Tori gasped.

"Ooh, a twist," Sikowitz said.

"Don't hurt me, please," Tori said, stepping far too close to Beck for Penelope's liking.

"Even though she's extremely annoying," Jade said.

"Fainting because I can't breath the earth's air," Beck said, trying to do the scene. He got on the ground.

"Gosh it fainted," Tori said.

"Excellent, Tori and Jade, keep going," Sikowitz said. "The next letter is 'h'."

With false sweetness, Jade said, "Hey, why don't you go jump off the cliff over there?"

"I think you should," Tori responded with a fake smile.

Jade asked, "Just where did you come from?"

"Kangaroos," Tori stated.

"Lousy animals, kangaroos, they're awkward and dirty," Jade said.

"Maybe they learned it from you," Tori replied.

"Ooh," some students said.

Jade walked to the other side of the stage, "No one talks to me like that."

"Obviously someone should," replied Tori.

"Please run in front of a bus," Jade told her.

"Quite obnoxious of you to say," replied Tori.

Jade asked, "Really?"

"Sure was," responded Tori.

"Thanks," Jade replied dryly.

"Up your nose I see boogers," Tori said. Penelope found that quite childish of her to say that.

"Very clever," Jade stated.

"Wish you'd thought of it?" asked Tori.

"X marks the spot I'd like to punch," said Jade, pointing at Tori's face.

"Your...finger smells weird," Tori stated.

"Zero is what you are on a scale of one to ten," Jade told her.

Penelope can see that Jade was slowly beginning to get flustered and frustrated with this chick.

"As if I care what you think," Tori stated.

"Better watch yourself," Jade warned.

Tori asked, "Can't take it?"

"Don't push me," Jade warned again, clearly on the brink of losing it and yelling at her.

Penelope willed Jade to calm down so she can win the alphabetical improv battle.

Tori yelled, "Eat your pants!"

"You eat your pants!" Jade yelled and held out her hand, "Wait!"

Sikowitz made a buzzer sound, "Sorry, Jade, the next letter was—"

"'F' I know," Jade yelled and gave Tori a dirty look before stomping off to sit next to Penelope.

Tori looked far to smug in her ugly ass sandals and Penelope rolled her eyes at her.

Beck looked up at Jade concerned, but Jade put one of Penelope's arms around her shoulders and leaned into the girl for comfort.

Sikowitz said, "Keep the scene going. Letter 'g'."

"Get up, alien," Tori said to Beck. She helped him up.

"Head...feels dizzy," Beck told her.

"I know what'll make you feel better," Tori told him.

Beck asked, "Jumping jacks?"

"Kiss me," Tori told him.

Of course she would do that. Penelope didn't get how Tori thought revenge was kissing someone else's boyfriend.

What? Did Tori think it was going to prove a point? What point would it prove?

Penelope knew one of the main rules of improv was to always say yes to everything.

"Little weird, let's do it," Beck said.

Penelope felt the anger rolling off of Jade as the others clapped. Whatever politeness Penelope was feeling towards Tori vanished in that one instance.
