I got to the Man Cave as fast as my body could take me, in fact I didn't know why I hadn't gone through on of the tubes, I could've arrived faster without any problem, I must have been in too much of a hurry to forget that completely.

Finally, when I got off the elevator I saw Charlotte who was watching the news on one of the monitors, while Jasper and Schwoz were sitting in the swivel couch.

"I'm here" I announced my arrival.

Charlotte turned to me "Hey".

"So, you were in a hurry for me to arrive" I said while approaching to her, downplaying it "I'm here".

"Yeah, yeah, I know, and we'll talk about that later, Cooking with Accents was interrupted".

And that was when I realized that I had wasted my energy and my physical condition for nothing, great.

"Breaking news?" I asked, while leaving my backpack in a corner.

"Yep".

We stayed quiet, waiting for the breaking news to start, I wasn't a big fan of it, but I must admit that my inner lady came out every time it came on, I was a fan of Trent Overunder and Mary Gaperman, quite some characters I must say.

"Good morning Swellview" Trent started to say "This is Trent Overunder with breaking news, or should I say: barking news."

Mary Gaperman barked and panted like a dog, I repeat, quite some characters.

"Earlier this day Jana Tetrazzini herself, instructed a 10,000 piece puzzle, to kick off the puppy awareness week and puzzles"

"After that, Captain Man and Kid Danger, introduced the lucky girl and her rich boyfriend, Prince Fuh'ard" followed Mary "with adorable puppies."

"That's right Mary, although it's still unclear how puppy awareness week and puzzles benefit small dogs, but of course it's adorable."

"Awww, look at those puppies."

I looked at Charlotte and she had the same look as me, we didn't understand how this worked either, and it didn't make a single bit of sense how money was raised by putting puzzles together to help puppies this week, but yes, it was too adorable.

"It's cute," I said.

"Mmm, yes, it is."

"In less adorable news, a video on the internet came out yesterday, showing the multimillionaire, founder of the social network Twittflash, Rick Twitler, begging for help in an unknown location."

"Huh."

"And where is an unknown location, Trent?"

Mary was a bit clumsy.

"Roll the video, Chuck!"

Rick Twittler's Video: "This is Rick Twittler, I don't know where I am, but I've been kidnapped by..."

Suddenly a hand appeared and placed itself over the man's mouth, making him stop talking, that was all the video, no more information, no extra data, nothing, just the poor billionaire captured in an unknown place.

Charlotte turned off the television and left the remote on the table.

"I think you should run it through the Man Cave computer" I said walking to the Auto-Snacker ", maybe we can find a sound that matches any other sound or something that can give us some clues about the kidnapping".

"When did you become smarter than me?".

I shrugged my shoulders "Why don't you admit that you had the idea first?".

"Because I want you to tell me what happened yesterday with 'you know who' ".

My smile faded and I put a look of disgust on my face, it wasn't disgust entirely, I just didn't want to remember... oh who am I kidding? It's better to tell her once and for all.

"Grill cheese sandwich" I ordered to the machine.

"Grill cheese sandwich" and like magic my lunch came out. I took my sandwich and then walked to where my friend was.

"Okay" I continued as I took a bite "but I don't want you to go crazy when I tell you."

"Kai, Kai, Kai" she said ironically "it's like you don't know me."

Our conversation lasted for about an hour, and that was because with every word I said, Char would give a little high-pitched scream or give an argument for and sometimes against what I said. She would say things like "that's why A.J is right" or "you should see it it by now" or "stop playing hard to get, if you wanted to kiss him, you would've just thrown yourself at him" something like that.

That's when I realized that the more I defended myself, the less arguments I had in my favor, and that I had to accept everything she and A.J had told me, regarding the issue of "Henry liking me."

Anyway, after our talk, Char went to the Man Cave computer to check on Rick Twitler's kidnapping, and I went up to Junk N' Stuff to help the client that came, maybe it could be a fake store for us, but we had to pretend that we sold things from time to time.

"I repeat, ma'am, we only have this astronaut helmet full of red eggs, the orange ones are no longer available".

"My son called two years ago asking for that helmet and they told him that they only had orange ones, now I want that".

It was so difficult to deal with this kind of clients, that I wanted to use the defense system in the store and throw her out of here as if it had been a terrible accident, but the charges were expensive, so I preferred to save myself that.

"If you don't want the helmet with the eggs, we have more items that might interest you" I sighed tiredly "but for the thousandth time, it's no longer available".

The lady was silent for a few seconds, admiring everything around her, she put one of her hands on the counter and began to move her fingers up and down. She was starting to get on my nerves.

"I don't want anything" she finally spoke.

I looked at her with a 'serious' expression, to which she responded by giving me a slightly creepy smile and then walking out the door of the store. What a bad-tempered lady.

"Don't forget to give us a good review on YELP!" I shouted, but was vilely ignored by her "after all, I didn't like her".

I left the counter and walked to the elevator, so I could go down to the Man Cave since Ray had arrived, without Henry, thank the universe for that. I pressed the down button, immediately after the doors opened, without thinking twice I got on it, seconds later the emptiness began to make itself present.

"Schwoz has to fix this" the doors opened again "Yoooo... why is there a puppy in the Man Cave?".

Ignored, for the second time that day. All my friends present, except for Charlotte, were sitting in the swivel couch, cuddling an overly adorable puppy.

"I love my job" I muttered sarcastically, walking over to Charlotte "hey, have you figured out sbout the kidnapping yet?".

She nodded "yes, I've played the video so many times just to be sure".

"Smart".

"Thanks".

I sat down in the monitor chair and took out my phone to check it for a while. There were thousands of messages in the family group, others from Jasper, notifications from Twittlfash and some other messages from... you know; I opened and answered each one of them except his, don't take it the wrong way, it wasn't because I didn't want to, it was just that... I don't know, but whatever, I was so wrapped up in my things, that I hadn't realized that my friend started to expose her theory.

"Hey!" I turned to look at her "do you hear that loud buzzing sound in the back?" I nodded "I isolated it and passed it through the Man Cave computer and...".

"She loves it when you scratch her behind the ears" Ray said ignoring Char.

"So does my mom" Jasper continued.

"Don't make it weird, Jasper".

I rolled my eyes "Hey!" everyone's attention was on me "Charlotte is talking, and I thought you were giving that puppy to Prince Fuh'ard".

"Mmmm, I guess I should have, but I forgot about it".

The three of them started laughing, I just gave Charlotte disapproving glances, it was good to be more than just one girl on the team.

"Yes you like that joke, yes you like that joke" Ray said to his puppy in a funny voice.

"As I was saying" Char spoke again "I used the Man Cave computer to isolate the buzzing and...".

"Man Cave computer?" Ray asked interrupting "I thought it was hacked like a month ago".

I smiled "It did happen, Raymond, it did happen".

Ray gave me a murderous look to which I responded by raising my hand in a thumbs up, giving him the biggest ignoring look in the world.

He shook his head from side to side and turned to Schwoz.

"Schwoz" he started to speak "I think you should know by now who is person who did it".

"And I think you should know how...".

Fights, fights, I didn't know if I should consider them that or just a conversation full of small insults.

"Hey!" Charlotte shouted again, we all looked at her scared "as I was saying... I isolated the sound of the video and guess what it was?".

"What?" I asked curiously.

My friend began to open her mouth to say her incredible argument, but was interrupted by Ray's voice.

"Bees?" he said without further ado.

"It sounded like bees" Jasper.

"I was going to guess bees" Schwoz.

Smarty pants.

"Or you'll guess right away" the girl raised her arms in the air in defeat.

I shook my head with an amused smile on my face and stood up to go get another sandwich in the Auto-Snacker, for some reason I was hungry.

"Oh!" Ray exclaimed "it's probably the "Beekeeper", he's always at the Swellview Honey Factory" he got up from the couch with his puppy in his arms "I'll go check it out".

"Don't you want to wait for Henry?" my friend asked.

Ray turned around with a worried look on his face.

"You're right" he looked at where Schwoz was and handed him the puppy "someone should watch Katelyn while I'm gone".

So the puppy turned out to be a female puppy, named Katelyn.

"Oh my God! You named her Katelyn".

"I like the name".

"She's such a Katelyn!".

Ray took out his gum tube and then put a gumball in his mouth, and bent down a little bit to be right at Katelyn's height.

"Hey Katelyn! Turn here sweetie! Look at this!".

As expected, Ray blew the bubble in front of the little dog turning into Captain Man.

It was kinda funny because, when the bubble was about to explode, Katelyn opened her mouth a little as if 'surprised', okay yes, it was adorable.

When Ray finished transforming, he got up from the ground and went to where Katelyn was.

"Don't worry, it's still daddy" he stroked her head "Kai, call Henry and tell him to meet me at the Swellview Honey Factory".

"Why me?" I asked confused.

"You're his girlfriend, right?" I opened my eyes a little surprised by his words "At least that's what Jasper said yesterday"

JASPER SAID WHAT?!

I slowly turned my gaze to the boy who called himself Jasper Dunlop, I looked at him with narrowed eyes and in a menacing manner. I was angry, yes, and I wanted to kill someone too.

"You're dead".
