We were sitting on my bed, the uncomfortable silence in my room was way too present, I had never had this type of problem with A.J, I don't even know if I should call it a problem, it's more like... yeah, it is a problem. The truth is I don't even know what it is.

But being it with the brother with whom I get along best, and to whom I can tell everything, it was a strange feeling to be in this situation.

"How do you know?" I asked him, breaking the silence.

"I figured it out," he responded, turning to look at me, "On Henry's birthday, Kid Danger brought you home, and the next day Grandma told me that you told her that Henry brought you home".

I knew it had to do something with it! It wasn't something he just let go.

"I think it was quite obvious, you got confused with your stories".

I didn't answer, I stayed silent with my eyes down and a great wave of guilt washing over me.

"Just that?" I finally spoke.

He denied "One time I was passing by your room, and you were talking on the phone, I heard you say, 'I'll see you in the Man Cave' and also 'Argh, fine, I'm gonna ask Henry to transform into Kid Danger so he can go'".

I opened my eyes in surprise, realizing that I had seriously ruined it, and I hadn't realized it. All this time I thought I was being careful; I was careful not to let something slip, and no matter how ridiculous the excuses were, I always tried to take care of myself. My mouth, talked, but apparently, I see that it didn't work, how stupid I am.

"I'm a complete idiot" I let out a sarcastic laugh ", more than an idiot".

"No, you're not," he continued, "partly it wasn't all your fault."

I snorted "Ha, of course it is, I wasn't as careful as I promised to be".

"Did you promise something?" He asked confused.

"Something like that," I tilted my head. "They were going to erase my memory if I didn't promise not to say anything."

My brother raised his eyebrows, indicating that he had understood what he had told him. Not even two seconds passed before A.J jumped in his own place and gave a gasp.

"Are they going to erase my memory?" He asked worried "I don't want it erased".

"No, no, no" I tried to calm him down "No... I don't know, it's something I've tried to find out".

"What do you mean tried to find out?!".

I took his shoulder "Chill, you just told me that you know the biggest secret in the world, I can't think clearly, so chill"

We were silent for a few seconds, and he was right, it wasn't clear, there was so much information and so much burden of consciousness that I could not think well; But one thing was clear to me, I was not going to let them erase my brother's memory... even if it meant erasing my memory.

"You're not going to let them erase my memory, are you?"

A.J broke the silence. I slowly shook my head as I tried to come up with something, anything, until after a few seconds, my brain lit up.

"You know," I started to say, "they don't have to know that you know the secret." He looked at me with a confused look. "I mean, we don't have to tell them."

"Are you serious?".

"Yeah, well, I need to tell Henry, but I could talk to him so he doesn't tell Captain Man."

Obviously, I wasn't going to tell him his real name, it was enough for him to know Henry's true identity.

"I hope he can do me the favor" I finished.

A.J started laughing hard, but so hard, that it seemed like he was going to run out of air, but more than a laugh at something funny, it was more like a sarcastic laugh, and with a tone of irony.

"What?" I looked at him confused.

But he kept laughing like there was no tomorrow.

"It's just..." he kept laughin "I can't..." more laughter "believe..." I had to hit him on the back to make him stop laughing and so he could breathe, and it worked "Sorry".

"Just tell me" I was already getting fed up.

He cleared his throat a little "Yeah, um, I can't believe you're so blind, Kai".

"What are you talking about?".

He raised his arms in the air, then buried his head in his hands and rubbed them.

"Kai" he returned to his original position "little sister" he sighed "Can't you see that Henry has a crush on you?".

I stayed looking at him without any expression on my face, without answering a word, if A.J kept saying nonsense, this was the biggest one he had said so far.

"Little brother" I gave him a fake smile "Stop talking nonsense".

"Kai, they are not, it's just that you are too blind, I already told you, to see it and to realize it".

I looked at him badly "A.J, no, don't say that, I mean, it doesn't make any sense, we are best friends and you're saying Henry has a crush on me" I let out a mocking laugh "Yeah, it's not possible".

"Do you remember when I had a crush on Clarissa West?" I nodded, one of her friends in San Diego "She was my best friend, and I liked her, so Henry having a crush on you, it's not impossible"

He emphasized the words "no" and "is."

"Don't you see it?".

"Yeah, I mean it's not something impossible but, Henry can't have a crush on me".

"Just because you said so".

I rolled my eyes "Cause Henry likes girls like Chloe or Bianca, and I'm nothing like that".

A.J raised his eyebrows, tilted his head to the side and a smile appeared on his lips.

"Hey!" I hit him on the shoulder "Thanks for your emotional moral support, brother" sarcasm.

"Hey, it was a joke, you're beautiful," he said laughing, I glared at him, "going back to the main topic, being different from Henry's common crushes, the fact that he likes you means that he saw something different in you."

I didn't want to believe what A.J was telling me, I refused, and insisted that it wasn't possible, it was a tremendous lie, I could only believe it if there was evidence, if not, no.

"Prove it" I spoke firmly "Without proof, I don't believe you".

"Easy," he smiled cynically. "When you kissed him, you felt something, right?"

I looked at him bewildered, he knew I had kissed him, how did he know? Nobody knew, what happened in the Man Cave was something from the Man Cave, it happened there then... days after my birthday, months ago, right... dang it.

"Yes" I wasn't going to lie "That is true".

"And you felt something coming from Henry, right?" I nodded "See? You got your proof, and if you want more, just go one day and look at the way he looks at you, he sees you as if you were the eighth wonder of the world".

"He doesn't..."

"Kai, I'm a boy, a teenage boy, I see stuff, me and everyone else" referring to my other brothers ", we've noticed, even our grandparents, Piper, everyone, plus the way he treats you" he paused ", dang, you're a lucky girl, Kai".

Okay, okay, I went through all my memories with Henry in the last few months, and the moments since I met him, going through all his attention, his behavior towards me and all the things we'd done together, his looks, absolutely everything... oh God.

"Can you see it now?" He took me by the shoulders and shook me from side to side.

"I think so," I said with a small voice, "I'm not saying I believe you completely, but" I closed my eyes, "I say... it's a possibility."

"Believe it or not, now I'm going to ask you something" oh no "Would you feel the same about him?".

I shrugged my shoulders "I don't know, maybe".

Henry is cute and goodlooking, very goodlooking, he's a great boy, he has beautiful eyes, a smile that would kill anyone, and an attitude that wins everyone over. But despite all that, I didn't know if he could feel the same... I'm confused.

"Okay," he sighed exhaustedly, "it's okay, I'm not going to stunt you anymore 'cause you gotta go to school tomorrow and you need your brain."

I laughed "You left me thinking about many things A.J".

He got up from my bed and walked to the door.

"That was the point" wait what? ". Just one more thing, don't make ridiculous excuses when you need to be in the Man Cave, you sound like a fool".

I raised an eyebrow "You're the fool".

"I know," he said proudly, "but seriously, don't say it anymore, I'll help you make up excuses one day."

"Thanks, A.J".

"You're welcome, Mrs. Hart" I looked at him with a grim expression "just kidding" he extended the 'g' "Night".

"Night".

A.J left my room, closing the door behind him, without saying anything else, leaving me with a lot of things to think about, starting with the matter of 'Henry having a crush on me' and mostly whether I would feel the same if that were the case.

It was true what my brother told me, I hadn't believed him 100%, but going through all my memories, it did make some sense... ah, I don't want to think! It had been too much information in one day.

But as I said before, Henry was handsome, cute, attentive, tender, his smile, his way of being, when he smiles, when he moves his hair from side to side... oh no.
