In my defense, it was Charlotte's fault for saying 'Just tell Henry you like him', but to my good luck, he had only heard "Henry" and "like", but thanks to that, we had a Henry dressed as Kid Danger behind us with a look of excitement.

There were two of him the time Schwoz made a droid of him, he was excited until two weeks later, and now that there were "two Henrys", it was crazy.

I looked at Charlotte trying to seek some help from her to shut him up, but she planned to make the same move on me.

"Look! Jasper and Patina are here" I exclaimed, making him stop talking "You have to go, run, GO!".

I pushed Henry for him to be next to Jasper and start taking care of... Patina; look at me, jumping with excitement, well, at least that silenced him. We walked to where the two boys were, Patina had the steel bubble suit from the Man Cave, along with some kind of engine that filtered the air, it was funny.

"Everything looks so... so... real," Patina said.

"I'm glad you're here, Patina," I greeted her, "and that you've finally been able to leave your house."

Patina gave a big smile "I know, Kai, I'm so excited".

"So, you must be Patina," Henry spoke, "nice to meet you for the very first time."

We had remained silent, what more could've it been said? Nothing, we already greeted each other, Patina looks super happy to be outside, Henry not so much, Jasper seemed like he was radiating happiness, and I, I just wanted another cactus ice cream... that reminds me, I have to look for my brothers.

It was something unnecessary, since we were not very far from where I managed to hear the voices of Max, Ian and A.J, laughing, easily.

"This suit is amazing, thank you so much" Patina spoke.

"Awkwarddd" I said sharply, lengthening the last 'd' "I'm really glad you're here Patina, Piper is over there with the dress so you can go see her, I'll go with Charlotte and I'll leave you with" I paused "your dates, byeee".

I started walking towards where Charlotte was, but something stopped me.

"Wait, wait, Kai" Henry took my arm, he spoke whispering "Why are you not spending time with us?".

"Cause I'm not supposed to know you, Kid Danger" I answered in the same way "We've talked about this".

"Yeah, that makes sense," he let go of my arm, "but come on, we were supposed to come to this thing together."

I nodded slightly "That's right, but Jasper needs it more than us. Look at him, you can only see the smile of love on him".

We both looked right where Jasper and Patina were, Jasper was talking, while Patina laughed at his words, how cute.

"You see? All this is thanks to you".

"I know, but I could be winning you a stuffed cactus right now, as Henry, not as the chaperone of the girl allergic to the world," the boy blurted out.

"Yes, Hen... Kid Danger" I continued "but just do it for your best friend, okay? think about it that way".

"But I wanted...".

"I know, I know," I interrupted, "there are many conventions we can go to together, just calm down and try to have a little fun."

I received no response from him, as he had been thinking about what I had told him. I know I complained a little about this, about not being with Henry, blah, blah, blah, but my words helped me too, we're doing it for Jasper, because that's what true friends do.

"Fine," he agreed, "but tomorrow I'm walking you to school."

"Who?" Henry asked again.

"Nah, it can't be Randy Tinklemuffin, he's in jail, I don't even know why I thought of him".

"Wait, that's his real name?" this time I asked.

"Yeah," Ray answered with a mocking laugh, "it's like short for Randolph..."

And from one moment to the next, all the people who were at the convention began to approach us in a threatening manner, as we were the ones closest to the cactus.
