Sam and Tajah walked through the halls, heading towards their lockers to find Kayla leaning against them.

"There you guys are! I've been waiting forever!" Kayla sighed.

"Sorry, we ran into them," Tajah said.

  Kayla gasped, "No! Did they do anything?!?"

  "No, luckily," Tajah said.

  "Well, at least you two are safe," Kayla smiled, "Oh, by the way, during lunch I was think we sit somewhere else since they seem to be over there a lot more."

  "That reminds me, I'm going to eat lunch with Grian. But don't freak out!" But it was to late, the two were already freaking out.

  "What!?!??!?!?!??!?"

  "You can't!!!!!!! You'll be killed!"

  "What if someone finds out?!? Are you willing to pay that price?" Tajah asked.

  "I won't let you throw away your life like this!!" Kayla yelled.

  "It's fine, it's not like this is the first time..." Sam looked at their shocked expressions.

  "What do you mean this isn't the first time?" Tajah growled.

  "Umm... I mean everything will be fine, I promise, you just have to trust me on this one," Sam gave a reassuring smile.

  "Fine. But you are going to have to tell us all the details of what happened," Tajah crossed her arms.

  "And it's not that we don't trust you... It's him we don't trust, or anyone else, really." Kayla explained.

  Sam walked through the forest, searching for the clearing that he and Grian would meet up in.  He smiled when he saw the male, sitting down, under a tree. Sam waved as he walked towards him. Gaining a smile from the other.

  You're probably wondering why they have to meet up like this? And why Sam's friends are so worried about it? Well, this would be against the law. You see the different species are really not supposed to get along, unless your part of the courts, that is...It's completely crazy, but if someone saw them, they would be killed.

   "Hey Sam," Grian smile as the hybrid sat down.

  "So... Why did you want me to meet up with you?"

  "Just to hangout. I know it sounds silly, with all the consequences and all. But.. It's nice hanging out with you. Plus, at the castle, we barely see each other, since you're always around Taurtis."

  "Well, that is kind of my job. I am his servant," Sam chuckled a little.

  "Still, he can't have you all to himself." Grian mumbled the last part.

  Sam sighed, "It's not like I don't like my job.. I love it... Taurtis is a nice person, people just.... haven't given him a chance."

  Grian stared at him for a moment, before nodding, "Yah, he is. And I understand that he keeps you around him to protect you, but... I just wish we didn't have to meet up like this," Grian motioned all around them, "Just to have a conversation."

  "That's life, I guess. Unfair."
