Sam woke up, smiling as he stared at the sleeping face of Taurtis. Sam brought his hand up to brush some of the hair out of Taurtis's face. Sam pressed his lips against Taurtis's forehead, before getting out of bed.

It wasn't till he got to the dresser that he realized, he wasn't in pain. In fact, he felt completely fine. Was that normal?

Sam felt arms wrap around his waist. Taurtis kissed his cheek, "Hey, you feeling okay?"

"Yah. I feel perfectly fine. Is that normal?" Sam asked.

"I don't know, maybe? They don't exactly tell you these things."

"But, shouldn't I be in pain?"

"It could be the bite, it heals you as long as I'm around."

"Yah, I guess that's it," Sam sighed, feeling Taurtis pull away.

He turned to see Taurtis staring at something outside the window with a frown.

"Stay inside the room," Taurtis ordered, before opening and jumping out the window.

Sam walked over to the window, watching Taurtis walk into the woods.

Why the woods? What did he see? Questions were spinning around Sam's head as Taurtis disappeared out of view.

Taurtis had been gone for awhile and Sam was starting to get worried. Also, very bored, considering Taurtis told him to stay inside the room. And he was bad at lying, so if Taurtis asked if he stayed, it wouldn't end well for Sam.

But at this exact moment, Sam couldn't careless. He began walking through the halls, letting his feet take him to where they wanted to go.

He stopped in front of a door, a door who's room belonged to someone he knew. Sam was standing outside Grian's room. He could hear two, faint voices inside. Sam pressed his ear against the door.

"Why couldn't you tell me?" He heard what sounded like Taurtis's voice.

"I'm sorry. It's just... You have to understand, this isn't something that is safe to talk about," Grian said.

"I know, but still. We were... Are so close. You know you can tell me anything, and I'll keep it safe."

Grian sighed, "Yah. But this could get me killed. My mom didn't want anyone to know. She didn't want me to risk it."

"Did... You know.. He know?"

"Yah. He used to get me birthday presents from time to time. It's funny, they tried to hide it from me, but obviously I found out who my dad was."

"This is crazy. I mean, I just can't think of you as anything but a sorcerer."

"Yah, I was good at hiding it. But the full moons affect me, so I've always had to lock myself in my room."

"You're ears come out too?!"

"Keep your voice down! And yes, and my tail."

"Awesome. I can't believe this. We're half brothers. I can't believe I never sensed it."

Sam jaw dropped. Half brothers? That means, Grian's father was, the previous alpha.

Hey guys, so I didn't post yesterday, homework, lots and lots of homework. I have like two tests today. One is a science test, which I'll probably do fine in, an the other is a spelling test.
