Third person POV
"Erwin I can explain." Mikasa said looking at the blonde man,who seemed annoyed/frustrated.

"No need,Mikasa you know we can't afford to keep another person. There is simply not enough room or supplies." Erwin said with a strict face.

"Yes sir I understand,but I could take care of her. She could share my rations, please sir. She's not safe with the Military police out there." Mikasa argued.

Erwin sighed and looked at Annie, who had been silent the entire time, watching the two while most of the others went to their dorms." Fine but she has to work to stay." He said and looked back at Mikasa.

"Yes sir!" Mikasa saluted (media)." At ease." Erwin said nodding,before walking back into his office.

Mikasa sighed as the door to his office closed." You got lucky." The man Mikasa called Eren said to Annie." Why?" She asked him as Mikasa sat on the left to Eren on a chair by the table.

"He is usually much tougher to crack." Mikasa said with a gentle smile looking at Annie.

"Pardon my manners my name is Eren this is my adoptive sister Mikasa! What's your name?" Eren asked enthusiastically. Mikasa rolled her eyes at her brothers childishness. Before Annie could answer a blonde man with a bowl cut sat on the right to Eren.

"Hi I'm Armin!" He sounded just as enthusiastic as Eren." Hi." Annie replied with a monotone voice. Then a man sat down next to Mikasa,it was the short guy Annie presumed as Levi which he confirmed in a firm annoyed voice.

"Yeah I forgot to ask what is your name?" Mikasa asked with a smile. "Annie. Annie Leonhart." She said returning the smile.

"Tsk' welcome to the scout regiment brat." Levi said in a bored voice. "Thanks." Annie said with the same voice.

"You'll have to work to stay here like the rest of us." Mikasa stated." Ok,so what do I have to do?" Annie asked.

Mikasa glanced at Eren,then Annie. "Well......" The raven trailed off." Come on what do I gotta do?" Annie asked again. Mikasa sighed,"Fine you will be put in the only open station at the time, sewage cleaner." She answered.

Annie's mouth hung open. "You have got to be kidding me?!" She exclaimed. "Calm down brat,you'll be working with me I'll show you how to clean without getting dirty yourself." Levi said looking annoyed with their entire conversation.

"Yeah Levi is the best of the best,he's a clean freak." Mikasa smirked at him as she finished her sentence. "Shut it brat" Levi spat at her making Annie laugh lightly.

"Well any way it's almost lights out I should be going." Armin said as he stood up waving goodbye." He's right we should go to bed, come on Annie I'll show you the way to the girls dorm." Mikasa said getting up motioning for said blonde to follow her.

The blonde one nodded following the raven. Annie caught herself staring at Mikasa more than once. 'What's wrong with me' Annie thought.

"Something on my face or you just captured by my beauty?" Mikasa asked in a cocky voice as she opened one of the doors and let her walk in.

"Fuck you too." She replied blushing as she walked past Mikasa,who was laughing at her response,and into the dorm.

There was only five beds and four girls were sitting on one bed. They turned their attention to me and Mikasa. "Hey Mika how did it go with commander Erwin?" The girl who asked had brown hair in a ponytail and a half eaten potato in her hand.

"Good,how was work for you guys?" Mikasa asked." Good!" A blonde girl with innocent blue eyes said.
