I had my guard on after that realisation and couldn't bare the thought of my sister potentially turning on me for some stupid "god". A crash came from the library and then silence which was followed by a slow humming. I edged my way down the stairs and stopped after I saw what was in there. The most confusing part was the beast that I saw straight out of one of my worst nightmares, a minotaur. It turned as I came in the room and locked eyes with me in a deadly stare off. It broke the stare and charge at me. Suddenly a bolt of electricity shot out of my hands stunning the hulking mass but it did not hold it off for long. This time I was prepared for the attack and dodged I grabbed a piece of metal turn off from the frame of a bookcase and try to land a  hit but to no avail. I changed my attack after I realised that it only moved in straight lines and attacked it from the side fencing class really payed of huh. I finally landed a punch and the creature howled in pain then retreated into a glowing vortex then disappeared. I suddenly saw a woman enveloped with dark clouds whispering something I could not hear then everything went......white.

"Wake up it is over the beast will not return", a soft voice whispered to me,"We have much to talk about". I slowly opened my eyes and saw the same woman standing in front of me,"Who....where.......what happened"."Hush your questions will be answered but I must introduce myself",the woman said almost completely disregarding my question,"I am Hecate goddess of magic and crossroads"."You do not know how much your life is worth child",she continued,"It is not everyday that a person like you is born". I looked at her and wondered how many more secrets were going to be revealed."As I said you are special but also very dangerous to the wrong people", she continued,"You have many enemies and you still do not even know your powers sadly you will make many of these undesirable acquaintances". She looked at me with her mesmerising eyes,"You must be ready that is if you will accept your powers, if not we shall await another child like you but we do not have much time"."What do you expect me to do I'm only seventeen", I said shaking my head,"I'm barely even an adult I can't....just...choose....I just fASound out that I a vampire hunter I can't deal with this right now"."Very well but you must make a choice you could finally meet your father". I couldn't believe my ears I might be able to meet my father after all these years I had to do this."Does this have anything to do with what Melanie told me",I asked Hecate."Ah so you are a smart girl",she said ew as her eyes shined,"I see you have made your choice but know this......"

       For once a child of pure heart is born,
It might save us all from an eternal thorn.
But should the child fail to fulfil this dire task,
And see the face if it's long lost father at last.
The kingdom of gods would turn to chaos and greed,
And it shall finally fulfil the long forgotten creed.
