Author's  Note
I absolutely love Percy Jackson so I decided to add a little fanfic to the story so I hope you enjoy.

"Estás jordimente bromeando", the Spanish slipping out as I clung to the back if the griffin. "I don't know what youre worried about this is my zen", she said in an annoyingly relaxed voice. "I'd rather keep my life thank you very much", I replied in a haughty voice. "C'mon its not that bad I mean this is one gentle ones", she said with a laugh. "Gentle!?", I said trying not to throw up, "
If this is gentle I don't want to see rough". I knew she was doing this to make me feel better but come on does she have to be this much of her fun loving side. "Who are we gonna see in Long Island anyway", I asked. "An old friend", she said heavy with the suspense.

We landed on the crest of a hill. The valley below was amazing, beautiful but looked like it held a whole bunch of secrets. I was about to go over the hill but Melanie stopped me. "We can't we'll need permission", she said as an explanation. That's when I saw,  omg I can't believe I'm saying this, a centaur with a white horses body and the kind of gentle librarian man where the head of the horse should be. "Ah Melanie it has been to long", the centaur said to my best friend, "And who might this be". "This is Lela she's a vampire hunter", his eyes showed his surprise, We need your help more importantly protection". "I see but I'm sure your friend would like to know who I...". "Chiron you're Chiron", I burst out, "You trained heroes in Greek mythology your father is Kronos". His face darkened, "Not a lot of people know that". He was about to lead us down then he stopped, "I Chiron give Melanie and Lela permission to enter". After that we went down I got a chance to look more closely at the buildings it was like a museum with everything polished. I was amazed but he led us to a huge building. I noticed the attic window and I felt a chill down my spine. Chiron was now in a whellchair, how that happened remains to be seen, "Let's get started shall we", he said gesturing to two seats. Yeah let's get started.
