The next day , we had an assignment to complete at the headquarters so I drove off early for that big building. My assignment was among the best assignments of our sections. I was really proud of myself when this thing echoed in my ears.

On my way home , I noticed Carson , carrying something in his hands and going somewhere to a house.

I told the driver to stop here for sometime and I moved my steps to that young boy whose black hair was shining in the light of the sun.

"Hey. Where are you off to?" I touched  his back slightly and surprised him.

Carson nearly had an heart attack when he saw me. (Was I that damn scary?)

"Woah! You surprised me , Aya. Basically I am going to Ariana's house as the team has to ask me some questions." He quoted casually.

My heart sank in my chest and my legs trembled when the word 'Ariana' shouted in my ears. My feet involuntarily moved backwards and I went straight to my car. Carson was shouting from behind but I didn't care.

Ariana. Ariana. Ariana. Why this word was knocking the doors of my mind? And even though , I tried to forget her , she came back like a moth attracted to a flame.

Sometimes , I think that it isn't Ariana's fault. She was a good girl and had no interests in these topics of betrayal or suicide. But then , the faded image of that paper comes and fully changes my mindset.

Anyways , today after that incident , my mom advised me to take some mental healing therapy to forget the bad memories of the past and heal myself. But I denied saying that Ariana is totally off my mind. I give a damn to her memories.

I texted Carson to know about the team's questions. As I shoved my phone inside my pocket , his reply came.

Carson: Ayanna , the team hasn't been able to figure the cause of Ariana's death. Some questions were asked and I gave them answers.

Carson: If you don't mind Ayanna , will you come with me for a walk in the street park?

Carson: If you don't want to , it's okay.😁

I texted him back saying that I would be there in like ten minutes. I dressed up and headed towards the door. The cab stood in front of me. I told the directions of park to the driver and he started the engine and drove off.

"The plants give a soothing and alacritous feeling." Carson said , smelling those yellow daffodils.

"Yeah man. Really I needed some break from Ariana's ghostly memories haunting me. " I replied with a heavy sigh.

"Really you consider her as a ghost? Anyways let's forget her and move on." Carson said.

"What do you mean by "move on" ?" I chuckled.

"To go with the pace of life." He replied intellectually.

We talked for some more minutes and took a stroll too in the park. The lively and fresh atmosphere gave me a kind of inspiration to move on with life and be ready for any change.

During our stroll , we also helped a little dog who was stuck in a hole. I decided to take him home and name him. Carson wanted to name it "Precious" but the final name chosen was "Orion" by me.

We also ate a big cotton candy and some nuggets. It was mesmerising seeing the wind flow and hearing bird's melodious chirps.

At last , I could say , the time spent with Carson was better than any of the healing and expensive therapies for forgetting past moments.
