Okay back to the chase;

Jimmy was running for a while. Then he took a turn; but when Scott went to that turn Jimmy was long gone... sh*t.

By that point; Jimmy forgot what he was running from... Scott... but why?—

A memory he had blocked; he knew, just not what memory.

Scott looked around frantically for Jimmy; his mind racing- he wondered if he'd have to send out  an animal with a strong sense of smell to sniff him out.

Where did he go? Why?

And... oh, he forgot to use Jessie instead. That would be a hassle to explain to Riri.

Jimmy found some... thing.

A cat.

It looked like.. Norman; one of his cats in Empires.

And the cat promised something; something he didn't want to give up- but might end up doing, in this world.

Free will.

So he accepted the deal..
