Twilight's POV

"W...what are-" he started but got cut off. "Shhhhh!" I placed my hoof on his muzzle. His cornflower blue eyes stared at me with a hint of fear in them. I stared back before staring behind the tall, monstrous trees.  Silence reinged upon us.

Eyes...A pair of fierce white eyes appeared behind the trees. Then a few other pairs appeared.

Before I knew it, they turned red with rage. They unleashed a loud growl before pouncing out of their hiding spot.

"Run!" was all I was able to scream as it chased after us.

Flash's POV

"Run!"

I gasped as I gazed upon the beast barely able to react. Once I was finally able to move, Twilight was far ahead of me. I galloped with all the speed I had, dodging the trees and harmful plants.

I was getting tired. My wings were sore but I still kept flying.
The monster wasn't getting any slower and Princess Twilight seemed to be struggling yet she was still far ahead of me.

She looked behind her making sure I was there, that was when she got distracted and got tangled by some vines.

The vines seemed like they were controlling their own movement. "Use your magic!" I screamed, rushing to her.
