A month passed by so friking fast, yet nothing changed. Same work schedule, same gold diggers, same routine, same friends, same enemies...... and same situation with Tae.

He basically locked himself away, and I did the same because I didn't want to start anything worse. I felt shattered, my whole life was tearing apart. I really shouldn't be comparing to it, but I feel like I fell into the hole again, the same hole I fell into when halmeoni passed away. It honestly felt like we were drifting apart.

It hurt so bad, yet I had to pretend I was ok. I was broken so badly, yet I had to fake a smile. And what made it even worse was that I was literally Tae's secretary. Gosh, why me? Won't he at least mutter something? Anything?

TIME SKIP

One thing that didn't stay the same was mine and Ace's friendship. Ace and I became literal soul sisters, so I have been staying at her place so I can let Tae "breathe", because I feel like he is annoyed with my presence. Also, she's dating Kooks now. They literally fight all the FRIKIN time, but in the end they go all softie mode. They're cute, I gotta admit.

My alarm started to go off again, and I slapped it, rolling out of bed. Oh great, just great. Another day of work. I made my way to the bathroom and got myself dressed, going to the kitchen where Ace and Jungkook were fighting. For the 57th time in the last six days. Yep, I have been counting.

"GUYS!" I yelled, making both of their heads turn. "Aww hun hello! I made croissants!" she hugged me tightly and kissed my cheek in a friendly manner, making Kookie pout. "What about my kiss?~" he whined. "Boi- you were the one who called me a pabo like, two seconds ago!" she clamored, crossing her arms. "Ok I'm sowy baby, I just want a kissy~" he whined again.

She rolled her eyes and kissed him on the lips, and she wanted to go continue on before we all had to go to work, but he pulled her back by her waist and gave her kisses all over, making her scrunch her face up.  I chuckled and grabbed a croissant, eating the whole thing. It was really good, ok? Don't judge me.

"JEON JUNGKOOK STOP IT!! YOUR TICKLING ME!!" Ace yelled, with him finally stopping. "But I looobe you!" he stomped and pouted. Man, if I got a dollar for every time he pouts, I would be a millionaire. "Aww you silly babie, I lobe you too," she stood on her tippy toes and kissed his lips, and they giggled until I cleared my throat. And with that, he got the keys and we all went into the car to go to work.

AT WORK

"Remember, just don't talk to him. He doesn't deserve it," Ace told me, holding both of my hands. "I know, but what if-" I was cut off. "No buts, just let him apologize," she sternly spoke again, but Jungkook came, hugging her waist with his chin on her shoulder. She rolled her eyes and we both chuckled, but she asked again, earning a nod from me. We hugged each other goodbye and I went to go make my coffee. I've been needing it a lot lately. As I was making it, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and it was someone I really didn't want to see. Brianna.

"What do you want?" I said in annoyance, turning back around to make my coffee. "I came here to sort things out," she remarked calmly, making me turn around, eyes widened. "You- sort- are you sick? Do I need to take you to a doctor?" I said, concerned as I put a hand on her shoulder. She rolled her eyes and spoke again. "No no, I came here to actually apologize," Well, wrong person apologizing right now.

"Apologize for what?" I crossed my arms. "Well, for everything. For bullying you, taking Taehyung away from you, basically making your life hell and for your friends too. I'm sorry," she said, looking down then back up at me. I was so confused. All of a sudden? Out of nowhere?

"And why did you think to apologize all of a sudden?" I questioned. "Well, I don't know, I thought it was the right thing to do. I hope we can put the past behind us," right when she said that last sentence, I started to burst into laughter, earning a stare from others, and Brianna had her brows furrowed.

"Y-you think I can put you bullying me behind me? AHAHAHA HELL NAW!" I slapped her shoulder and continued to laugh my head off until it died. "Well, I guess I can try, but don't expect me to be all nice to you on the first day," she smiled and nodded. "Thanks Y/n, I'm glad we can have a fresh start. I'll let you get going then. Bye!" She said once again before leaving, with me being bamboozled. My literal bully from elementary just apologized. Wow.

I finished making my coffee and I made my way to my office. I sat down and started to work, signing, typing, writing, organizing, presenting, and repeat. Same cycle. Everyday. I heard a knock on the door and when it opened, I saw Ella. I got out of my chair and ran up to her at full speed, wrapping my legs around her.

"ELLA WHERE WERE YOU ALL THIS TIME?!?!" I said, almost on the verge of happy tears. "Aww yes I missed you too. Now get off of me you pig," I chuckled and got off of her, while she wiped my tears away. "You missed me that much?" she asked, seeming surprised. I slapped her arm. "WELL WHEN YOUR GONE FOR LIKE A FRIKING MONTH, YES!" she chuckled. "Oh yeah! Meet my fiancé! Babe! Come in!" Fiancé? And before I knew it, Jimin showed up. Wow, the way things take a turn in life.

"Hey Y/n! Long time no see!" he said. "Yeah! Same here!" I hugged him and he did the same. "Wow, you better send me an invite before anyone or I'll boil your teeth, Ella," we all started to laugh. "I'll make sure you are the very first one then," I smiled cheekily and we went out for lunch and caught up with each other's life. Ella became a veterinarian like she wanted to, and Jimin started to dance a while back.

I told them about Tae and Jimin knew something was going on with him. He told me he doesn't come to hang out with them anymore, he doesn't do anything. All he does is work. I started to get a little concerned, but at the same time I was still upset. "I should probably head back. It was nice catching up with you both!" I hugged them goodbye and I took a taxi back to work.

AT WORK

I was going through some files until I came across one that I had to give to my boss. Kim. Tae. Hyung. Oh dear god, make sure nothing crazy happens in there. I got up from my chair and made my way to his office.

I knocked on the door a few times, but I didn't hear anything, so I opened it. The lights were on, but Taehyung was nowhere to be seen. I quietly went over to his desks but stopped in my tracks when the lights turned off. I literally dropped the file because I was so scared. I just stood there. But then, I felt someone hug me from behind, hands on my waist and chin on my shoulder, I felt their breath. And their scent. His scent. It was Tae, wasn't it?

Before I could even say anything, I felt wet droplets on my shoulder. Sorry, tears. Was he.... crying? He kept crying and kept holding onto me tighter. I didn't do anything because I didn't want him to get ideas that I forgive him. Because on some level I do, but at the same time I don't.

"I-I'm sorry, I really am.. I shouldn't have hit you, I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm really sorry. Just please say something, anything, please jagi, I miss you a lot. Your hugs, your food, your cuddles, I miss you. A lot. Please don't hate me, it was my mistake, I promise I've changed now, just don't leave me, I can't live without you, I know it may seem like I'm over-exaggerating, but I'm serious. And yes, I'm the guy in the picture, your first love, so I actually can't-" I cut him off and turned around. My eyes started to get watery. Really, really watery.

"Wh-what did you just say?" my tears were falling at this point. I couldn't control it. He heaved a deep sigh before speaking again. "I was going to tell you but I never had the proper chance.. but yes, I'm the boy in that picture. I lost it when I was nine, that's why when we first met I tried taking it back."

It all made sense now. Why my heart only beated for him, why I was only comfortable around him, why he tried to take it back in the first place. Why he looked so damn familiar. Because it was him, this whole time.

Kim Taehyung was my first love all along.
