Jacks pov

I turn around and look at the man. He took one step forward while I took one step back closer to the edge.

"Don't do it"

I looked at him and stayed in my spot

"Y-you can't tell me what to do...stay back"

The man reached out his hand

"Come on take my hand and we can talk about this together"

...Together...Is that really what he thinks that we can just talk and everything bad will go away?!

"N-no...Stay back don't come any closer i'll do it i swear"

The man came closer to me while stepped back more

"Look we got off the wrong foot, Im mark, Whats your name?"

"J-jack"

"Good now come on...Take my hand and Ill help you i promise..."

Well...Should I trust him...i mean everyone in my life threw me away like I was nothing. How can I trust anyone. But maybe I should give him a chance.

I reach my hand out and took his hand. He pulls me lightly away from the edge. We walk out of the area and he lets go of my hand.

"There now that your safe lets go back to my place and get you warm while we talk"

I nodded and we walked to his place
