After my fangirling and self-pity party, it was time to go to work.

Sky, Zoe, and I are street performers, and we are great at it.

We make about fifteen dollars a day each because we're just that awesome.

  After getting all of our equipment together, we headed out of our apartment. It was about 9:30 when we got to Main Square, which is where all the other performers...well.... Perform.

I turned to the girls. "Ok, see you guys later! Let's have some fun and make some money!" I said and we all highfived.

   Zoe left to go set up her little dance act. I don't necessarily know the official term, but I just know she dances.

  Sky and I are a duo, I sing and she plays the guitar. We make more money then Zoe, but we still look up to her.

"Ok, what's our playlist for today?" I asked Skylar.

   "Um,ba lot of people recommended some pop-rock artists...?" She said in an unsure tone.

"Or, we could just do something more calm today?" I suggested with a smile.

"Haha, so basically chill day?" Sky grinned.

"Yup!" I smirked and took out my phone to search for a song I felt like singing.

"What song should we start with today?" I ask in a crappy British accent.
"Hm, I don't know, Queen Elizabeth. What would you suggest?" She replied with the same cheesy British accent.

"I'm in the mood for Taylor Swift for some reason..." I say quietly as Skylar looks at me with amusement evident in her eyes.

"Ok, what song?" She asks and I think about it for a moment.

"Hmm. What about Safe and Sound?" I look at her to see if she agrees.

"Sure, ok do you remember the lyrics?" I scoff,"When have I not?" I say sassily,"You've got a point." She raised her hands up in defeat and grabbed her guitar.

"I always do." I smirk and wait for her to start.

  "I remember tears streaming down your face when I said I'll never let you go.

When all those shadows almost killed your light.

But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight.

  I sang with all of my heart, and Skylar began get really into it. There was already about ten dollors in Sky's guitar case and a bunch of people were starting to slowly gather around the two of us.

The war outside our door keeps raging on.

I smile as I hear whispers of compliments from the crowd.

I finished the song, and the crowd cheered, throwing in dollar after dollar. Sky and I grinned with pride since this happens do rarely.

"Well, that was fun!"
