Chapter 27
-8 1/2 months later-
Ashley's POV
I walked out the exit doors and onto the sidewalk. I could still smell the weird cleaning solution smell from the doctor's office. I turned the corner and walked across the parking lot to my car. I got in and turned on the radio. "Time to drive 30 minutes to our new house baby" I said aloud to my belly. The doctor said he could be born within a week. And Justin and I don't even have a name for him yet. We decided to spell out his little brother Jaxon's name out with the first letter of each name. We already have J and A, heh. Once I pulled into the driveway, looking at his car, he stepped onto the porch. I smiled and waved through the window and opened the door. "Hey babes" he said and kissed my forehead. "He could be born within a week" I said as we walked through the front door. Justin's eyes lit up with happiness but with surprise too. I admired how he had put everything in place while I was gone. It's beautiful. The yard is huge, 3 stories. 3 bathrooms, indoor pool, 5 bedrooms, big kitchen, etc. I sat on the new leather couch, him beside me. "Names?" he asked in a high pitched voice. "Xander? Xavier?" .
Xavier clicked in my mind. It's a really nice name. It's comes from the jesuit priest named Saint Francis Xavier. No idea why I know that... "I like Xavier". I said with a smile on my face. "Me too" he replied. His head hovered over my belly. "Okay lil buddy. I pronounce you, our son Xavier" he said enthusiastically. I giggled and combed my fingers through his hair. Best dad ever.
Justin's POV
"What do you want me too cook for dinner?". I turned to look at her for an answer and leaned against the counter. "How bout some spaghetti with salad and bread" she mumbled. I rolled my eyes. "Pregnant women" I sighed jokingly. I heard her giggle quietly. I got out all of the ingredients for it, knowing how she likes it. Especially, when she's pregnant. We sat down at the dinner table and ate. Nothing but silence. I nudged her knee with mine. "Okay, fine". "It just hasn't come to reality yet that you and I will be parents soon. What did I do to deserve you? I couldn't ask for anything more" I saw the sincere in her eyes. I smiled letting my dimples show. She reached over and poked one of my cheeks, the little dent in my face when I smiled. I chuckled and reached under the table, setting my hand on her knee. "You're way more than worth it and I don't feel like I deserve it" I said softly. She set her fork down, got up, walked over, and sat on my lap. "My boys are the best!" I love this woman a lot. My son, I already love you sooo much and you're not even born yet!
Sorry for not updating in like millions and millions of years. It's just, I get kind of lazy. I've been sooo tired from performances at school. Comment and vote! XOXO- Lilly
