-Later On-

I got ready for the dinner. "Hey babe, can we talk". Justin asked. I nodded as we went outside on the deck. "We've been dating for two years now. I'm very happy about it", he said while smiling. I got closer and set my head against his chest. "I am too" I said. I felt like something very emotional but amazing will happen. "You're the most beautiful girl I know. The most kindhearted, the funniest, the bravest, and the most independent girl on this earth. I am yours and you are mine, which I hope it stays that way". He started playing with his fingers which tells me he's nervous about something. I started to get butterflies in my stomach. "So I have one question to ask you". He got down on one knee and pulled out a box. He opened it and held it in front of me. "Will you marry me?". Tears started rolling down my face. I smiled and nodded. "Of course Justin" I said trying to hold back the rest of my tears. He smiled and put the ring on my finger. Before he could hug me I looked at the ring. It was beautiful! He cuffed his hands around my chin, snapping me out of my thoughts and kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I love you Ash". "I love you too Justin".

Justin's POV

During the drive to my mom's house I couldn't stop glancing at Ashley. She seemed so happy but nervous. "Relax" I said while intertwining our fingers together. She glanced over and smiled. setting her head on my arm. "Here we are". I said as we unbuckled our seat belts. We walked to the porch and we were greeted by my mom. "I missed you mom". I said and kissed her cheek. She hugged me tightly and I hugged back. "Hey Pattie" Ashley said and gave her a hug as I let go. She smiled at us and let us in. I looked over to Ashley and saw that she was giving me the this-is-your-house? face. I laughed quietly and shook my head. "What's so funny" someone said, causing me to flinch. I turned around and saw Mr.Davis, Ashley's dad. "Nothin, how are you?" I asked as I shook his hand. "Good, you?". "I'm great, really great". I said pulling Ashley into my chest. He smiled. "Something is going on, tell me" he said, crossing his arms. "You promise not to tell anyone" Ashley said right after he finished. I looked at her with wide eyes but I trusted Mr.Davis. He nodded and brought us into a room where nobody could here. "Okay, so?" he asked. I came close to him and whispered into his ear. "Look at her finger". I watched as he glanced over to her left hand and widened his eyes in surprise. "Oh my god, congrats" he said while holding his arms open for a hug. Ashley went in and hugged him back. "Come on Justin. He's known you long enough" she said. I hugged both of them.
