Justin's POV

I have one last gift for her today. I really love her. I think it's time I propose. We may be in College, but she's my life. I walked into the living room and there I see Ashley laying on the couch. "I need to do something really important at the football field, Ash." I said and kissed her forehead. "I love you". "I love you too". I grabbed my jacket, along with my beanie, wallet, and keys, then walked out the door. I hopped into my car and started the engine. "Here goes nothing" I mumbled to myself.

-At The Mall-

I walked into Kay Jewelers. "Justin! You here for something?" a guy asked. I looked up and saw my uncle who worked at the store. "Um, yeah" I said with a shaky voice. "You look kind of nervous. Does it have to with marriage?" he asked. "Yes". He motioned me with his finger to follow him. "I u-uh , need an engagement ring." He glared at me with the what face. "For?". "My girlfriend", I answered. He widened his eyes in surprise, then asked me what she likes. "How about this one", he said while holding up a ring (picture above). "It's perfect, she always goes on about how pretty things like this are". I said. He nodded his head and took it to the register. He put in a box and then into a bag. "$3,599.99". I breathed heavily. "It's worth it" I whispered while handing him my credit card. "There you go, I know it'll work out Justin. Tell your mom I said I lover her". I nodded and waved goodbye while walking my way towards the exit. "Okay" I thought to myself.

Your POV

I was watching tv when someone knocked on the door. *knock knock* . "Coming" I screamed. I opened the door to see Justin. He walked in and I could tell he was hiding something because he looked fatter. Hopefully it isn't anything bad... "You'll find out later" he teased. "Oh come on" I thought. *Ring ring* I grabbed my phone and answered it.

"Hello"-Ash

"Hey baby"-mom

"Hey, how are you?"-Ash

"Great, how was your Christmas so far"-mom

"It was amazing, Justin got me this beautiful necklace I've wanted forever"-Ash

"Oooohhh, wear it to the dinner tonight at Pattie's house"-mom

"As in Justin's mom?"-Ash

"Yes, they invited us"- mom

"Oh, okay. Well I'll see you there"- Ash

"Okay, I love you bye"-mom

"Love you too" Ash

I hung up the phone. I'll finally meet his mom again. We haven't seen each other in a while. She's really nice and pretty! This will be fun...

Justin's POV

I heard Ashley talking on the phone with her mom. "That necklace won't be the only thing you wear". I thought...well hopefully!
