1. What is your real name (Optional)? Where are you from (Optional)?
Misha Purohit. I am Originally from Delhi but work brought me to New York.
2. Are you a student or a working woman or a full time writer?
I am a working women. I am a Data Analyst.
3. What is the thing that inspired you to write?
I just enjoy myself while writing. Writing takes me to a different world and I can potray my characters the way I want. I think that is what makes me inspired to write.
4. What is the genre of books you want to write in future? Why?
I don’t know. I haven’t really given a thought to it.
5. When did you started to write?
In June, this year.
6. Are they any changes you have seen in yourself after you started to write? If yes, what are the changes?
I think I became more creative once I started writing. These days, when I am not working you will probably find me in a corner of my room pondering over my thoughts.
7. What is the first comment you received after publishing your first draft? Do you remember the person you gave you that comment?
One of my earliest follower asking me for the next update. Yeah I do remember the person, that reader is always special to me.
8. How did you get to know about wattpad? Were you an author before writing in wattpad
I stumbled upon on wattpad while I was searching for online reading apps 2years ago. I wasn’t a writer before joining this platform.
9. What are the genres you prefer to read? Why?
Scientific thrillers and Mythological dramas. These two genres intrigues me.
10. What are the genres you don’t prefer to read? Why?
I can’t name a genre but I hate books with a sad ending. I usually end up crying reading such books but ironically my favourite book The thousand splendid suns is a book with sad ending.
11. Is there any book that changed your life? If so what is it and how it changed your life?
There are quite a few books which changed my perception about life. The thousand splendid suns is one among them and this book will always remain close to my heart. It teached me the true meaning of compassion.
12. Have you ever thought that you will write your book of your own?
Never. Not even in my wildest dreams
13. Have you ever visited India? I know you reside in New York from your profile but your stories exactly replicate an Indian married couple.
India is my home so I lived most of my life there.
14. What would you like to do when you are not writing?
I love hiking. So when I am not writing or working I usually got out hiking or play voilin
15. What do you think makes a good story?
A great narrative.
16. What were the key challenges you faced when writing your first book?
Writing point of views. I always place my characters in various circumstances and wonder what their response would be.
17. If you write your autobiography anytime in future what would be the first and last line of your book? What will be the title of your autobiography?
Haven’t thought about it.
18. Did you get any friends through wattpad?
Yeah, quite a few.
19. What is the best part of being a writer?
Unfettering thoughts to bang on about anything. When the readers is in aww, even for a moment I know then that I have communicated successfully to another person, something that is so hard to express in normal conversation. It has to be done through Story. And when it happens, when it works, that is one of the best feelings a writer can ever experience
20. Do you have any message for your readers?
I am grateful to all my lovely readers for showering lots of love on my book and please continue to do so. Apart from writing I love to read all your comments. These days it has been my favourite thing to do. So please convey your thoughts through comments.
21. What is the one thing you miss about India?
First and foremost the food. Then warmth, familiarity, the apna pan in the air. All this is making me homesick right now.
22. What is the one thing you think that New York has India doesn't have and vice versa?
Punctuality and privacy in New York.
Festivity in India.

3. If you have one magical power, what would it be?
Creating a sustatainable and eco-friendly world

Wizards. I would love to be an alumnus of Hogwarts

5. If reincarnation exists, what would you like to come back as?
It sounds funny but I would love to come back as an elephant. Baby elephants are my spirit animals.
6. Which fictional character do you believe is most like yourself?
Hermonie Granger, I was a nerd growing up.

7. What is the mischievous thing you have ever done?
Once a friend of mine pissed me off at school. She would get a headache to hydrogen sulphide smell. It smells of rotten eggs. In order to take a revenge I did a hydrogen sulphide experiment during our chemistry class when I was told to do some other experiment by my teacher. The end result was the whole school campus smelled like rotten eggs for two days.

8. What is the first thing you will do if you wake up as someone you hate?
I will find out the reason of what makes me a hateful person.
9. If you could invite one person to dinner, who would it be and what you cook?
My fiancé and I doesn’t know cooking. I would order a large vegan pizza and fries.

10. What is the best thing that has ever happened to you?
I feel lucky to bag my dream job right after my graduation and to find a man of my dreams whom I can proudly look upto, both within a quarter century of my life.
11. What is your opinion about me? If you want to ask me one question what would that be?
It feels so nice to have a person like you to support the little work I publish here. Your capacity for kindness is boundless and I am glad to know you. I would love to meet you in person and know you more.
I want to ask you two questions: What writing means to you? And What is your opinion about me?
(That's the best compliment I have ever got. Even I would love to meet you as a person. I have never seen such a cool and kind person like you sista❤️ and I mean it.
Coming to your questions, for the first one, for me writing is like taking an anti-depresent pills. To overcome my depression I started to write. For your second question, you are really a cool person. The way to reply to my comments on your story is something made me feel so close to you. In short you are like a elder sister to me. Waiting for your wedding😜)
