This movie features Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence. Jim and Aurora are on a spaceship travelling to a new Earth-like planet, Homestead II. However, due to a hibernation pod failure, Jim is woken up 90 years earlier than what was planned for the passengers and crew. He explores the ship and enjoys it for some time but he starts to feel lonely and stumbles on videos and manuscripts of Aurora Lane a renowned author. He has some qualms about waking her up ...

This movie was AMAZING. I loved the dynamic between the duo ( even though I am not a HUGE Pratt and Lawrence fan). I also loved the premise of the movie and I enjoyed this movie even though I am Sci-fi newbie ( the only other Sci-fi production I have seen is Stranger Things). 

However, I did NOT love the ending and I was largely disappointed by it. I felt like Jim could have built another auto doc ( I will not elaborate further so as not to spoil the movie. If anyone does not know what I am talking about with that, feel free to message me).


I watched this movie on Netflix and I give it a 4 out 5 stars.
