Have you ever wanted to learn a language by listening to interesting content in your target language for free? Are you sick of gamified language learning apps like Duolingo? If so, Chatterbug is the app for you. 

The apps allows you to learn any language from four languages, two Germanic ones ( German and English) and two romance languages ( French and Spanish). The app has organized the videos which have gone live ( in the past) into a collection of courses according to level and sub-categorized according to the theme.  I LOVE how organized this app is. It's like a Youtube for your level and interests. I love how the native speakers take it gradually with their speed and start ditching English the higher your level. 

However, I wish there were settings to adjust the spoken speed and that the subtitles and translations are activated on EVERY single video. Some videos are perfectly intelligible without subtitles but I still find them to be a very convenient feature.  Adjusting the speed would make the WORLD of a difference for me as it would help me focus better if the speed is just right.
