Now I understood what Nayeon felt when I asked her about Jackson that one time.
It's exactly what I felt when she asked me about Mina, when it was supposed to be our time to be spent together.
I turned to her, furious.
"Because we do that, Nayeon. You and I. We walk home together." I couldn't deny my voice was angry. "I don't walk Mina. I walk you."
I thought I saw tears attempting to fall from her eyes.
It made me soften my gaze.
"Look," trailing the words off, I gulped. "Nayeon—"
However, this time, she cut me off, pulling her hand back and blinking her tears away.
