This is my favorite version of Goku's, Super Saiyan Speech and just fits him more.

I grew up with Kai in the Freeza saga, before re-watching everything in normal Dragon Ball Z, but overall this version fits Goku more. Cause it doesn't display Goku as some hero who fights for justice.

Akira himself said, Goku isn't a hero. I agree their. Goku does good things and fights to protect his family and innocents.

But he's not like Superman, Spider-Man, etc. Where he willingly goes out to stop things like crime, make sure cities are safe, things just happen to make him look like a hero. He doesn't care about justice, he even said that against Jiren and quit the time patrol during his final fight with Moro to beat him his own way.

So in short terms

Goku is a good guy and will fight for his friends, but he's not trying to be a hero.
