It was finally official. Hinata and I shared feelings for each other and I realized something. That something is that if we defeat the thing that threatens us she'll no longer have to be my guard. After that it doesn't matter what her father says I'm not letting him separate us.

Hinata has always cared for me and made me feel comfortable with her. Even though we tease and pick at each other I feel genuinely happy with her.

Hinata and I were on our way to Sasuke's house. When we arrived I knocked on the door. And to my surprising Sakura answered.

"Sakura-chan?" I asked. She smiled nervously.

"Uh hey Naruto, Hinata. What brings you by." She said. I'm guessing she still feels bad for choosing Sasuke over me.

"I need to talk to Sasuke." I said. I then looked to Hinata. I turned back to Sakura seriously.

"It's very important." I said. Soon Sasuke appeared behind her.

"What is it." He said. He then eyed Hinata. I turned to Hinata who eyed him back.

"It's about Itachi-san and Neji-niisan." Hinata said unfazed. I sighed at Hinata's easy nature. Sasuke frown.

We all then entered the house.

"What's this all about Hyuga?" Sasuke asked. We all were gathered in his living room.

"Well-" I tried. Hinata covered my mouth.

"I need your help taking out the gang who most likely killed my cousin. Your brother most likely as well. " Sasuke's eyes turned stern. "I know this might interest you. I doubt you won't help." Hinata announced.

I looked over to Sakura who had a worried look.

"Hmm I'm guessing Naruto will help." He said as he looked at me. He crossed his arms.

"Sakura-san could help too. " Hinata added. Sakura nodded. Sasuke closed his eyes.

"No, Sakura won't take place in this." He said. Sakura looked over to him.

"Huh but why not?" She asked offendedly.

"It doesn't involve you." He said coldly. I sighed and so did Hinata. Sakura stared at him hurt. Sakura has trained under Granny so she isn't exactly weak.

"Sakura-chan he's just worried you'll get hurt." I said. Sasuke shot me a look.

"What's the plan anyway?" I asked.

Hinata pulled out a journal. Sasuke did as well. I stared at them confusedly.

"I did research on the gang." They both said. The two began comparing data. I just sat there watching. Sakura even started helping to Sasuke's displeasure.

"Ok it's decided." Sakura said. They then all looked at me. "Naruto you'll be the bait."

"Huh!?"

The plan was enter the abandoned tunnel and I start yelling nonsense. Sasuke, Hinata, will enter from opposite ends of the tunnel secretly taking out some guys. There are more then 1 entrance so they'd be coming from the other two that spread out in the forest; behind our school. Sakura would be contacted to bring in back up and we'd surround them. We decided we'd gather a couple friends from our school to help.  After the battle Sasuke and Hinata wanted to do some answer searching from the guys we'd beat up.

It was planned for the last day before break. So we had the whole week to work for training.

Classes felt shorter and workout sessions were exclusively the priority. I'd have to build my stamina. Hinata the whole time was very serious on this but at times we'd share glances. We were able to get a group of people. All of us trained at Hinata's dojo secretly with the help of her younger sister.

"Gosh is all this training necessary?" Shikamaru complained. The guys sat at one side of the dojo while the girls were sparring.

"Well it need to come out smoothly." Sasuke said. My eyes watched Hinata as she taught some of her taijutsu to Ino and Ten Ten.

Soon a towel was thrown at me. I quickly took it off my head .

"Ew what the heck!? " I turned to the direction of where it was thrown and I was caught by Kiba grinning next to Shino.

"So what's going on with you and our Hinata." Kiba poked. "I've noticed in school she'd always have to follow you, you going to tell us the full story on why you're even involved?" Kiba said.

I frowned. "Obviously because I knew Itachi and Hinata really cares about her cousin." I said. He stopped smiling.

"How'd you even meet Hinata anyways." He asked. I stared at all the eyes who were watching me. Sasuke slightly smirked.

"Well I-uh.." so embarrassing.

"I'm his babysitter."

I looked up to the source of the voice. Hinata stood in front of me. She stared down at me with her charming eyes. Her hair was tied back and she was slightly sweaty.

The guys began laughing. I quickly turned my head to look at them.

"You guys don't actually believe her?" I said. I soon saw her hand stick out to me. I looked back up to her.

"Let's spar Naruto-kun." She said. I grinned. We then played around a bit.

Time went fast as we finally reached the day. All 14 of us gathered. Hinata, Sasuke, Sakura, Lee, Shikamaru, Ten Ten, Temari, Kiba, Shino, Choji, Ino, Karin, Suigetsu, and finally me.

After class we all met at the school football field. We soon made our way to the forrest splitting up. We carried walkie talkies and they had maps. I had a ear piece that one person had in each group. They could hear me when I was used at bait so they could signal.

I watched as Hinata and Sasuke started directing people. After all this fighting, we'd finally take them out.

I  felt my heart race quicker. But one stare at Hinata and I knew what I was fighting for.

"Naruto-kun?" She asked. I walked over to her. The sounds of leafs crunching were heard.

"What's up Hinata?" I asked.

"I'm going to be the first person you'll see. I'll be fast when making my way to you." She said seriously. I watched her face. She was worried about me. I put my hand on her head.

"Ok, I'll be waiting." I said before smiling. She stared at me softly. I then kissed her.

Some people behind us pretended to gag and told us to get a room. Hinata pushed me off. She was embarrassed. Extremely but found it funny.

Finally the time struck 5:00 and it was time to begin.
