BACK STORY. Adam was five when Voldemort was defeated. His dad was a double agent for the ministry. He had taken the dark make and pertained to help the dark lord when he was really giving the ministry all the information they needed. He brought down half of the dark lord's army this way. Two years after Harry Potter became the boy who lived some rogue death eaters found out about Alexander and killed him when he was walking home one night. Adam and his pregnant mother hadn't gotten the news of his death until the death eaters broke down the door Grace told Adam to hide and not come out until she found him and that she would deal with the intruders. Grace ran downstairs to stop wherever it was not knowing it was death eaters. They started torturing Grace yelling at her to tell them everything that her husband did. Grace was a muggle and didn't even know her husband was a wizard, she kept scamming that she didn't know and to stop that she was pregnant. She was driven to the point of insanity by the time they stopped. The death eater left the house and set it on fire, with Grace and Adam inside. One of the neighbors had called the fire department in time and the firemen were able to save Grace and Adam. The ministry then showed up and erased the minds of the firemen to make them believe that there was no one in the building at the time before taking them to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.
