(O.D.D.- I added Kyoya's theme to this chapter! （≧∇≦）)

Step, step, step, step...

A certain skylark stalked silently through the halls.

He tugged at a cuff on his sleeve as he turned a corner.

Kyoya blinked his silver-blue eyes as he came upon the room where Takeshi and Lal currently was.

Genkishi was about to strike Lal down, who was trying to drag Takeshi out of the way with her centipede box weapon.

"Herbivore."

His voice rang out--cool and clear.

Genkishi instantly snapped his head up to look at the skylark.

"....Hibari....Kyoya.  Cloud Guardian of the Vongola Decimo...."

Kyoya smirked in return, bringing out a purple box weapon from his pants pocket.

"For disturbing the peace.....I will bite you to death."

The skylark suddenly disappeared.

Genkishi widened his eyes and whipped his head around.

"....Too slow."

Kyoya was right in front of Genkishi, tonfas cocked back.

The skylark slammed both of them into the swordsman's chest and sent him flying.

Kyoya twirled one of his tonfas in one hand as he waited for Genkishi to get up from the small cloud of dust.

The skylark felt something come at him from the side; he jumped up into the air, and the ground beneath him exploded.

'Using the invisible missiles already?'

Kyoya used his invisible Cloud flames as a sensory field for the other incoming missiles that he couldn't see.

The skylark lit his tonfas up with Cloud flames; he spun in a quick circle as he whipped his tonfas out.

Blades of condensed Cloud flames sprung forth and hit the invisible missiles heading his way.

Kyoya then charged at Genkishi, cocking one of his tonfas back as the swordsman gritted his teeth before bringing out two of his blades.

Clang!

Kyoya pushed off...only to come rushing in again.

Genkishi aimed a slice at Kyoya's neck, but the skylark simply bent backwards and let the sword pass over.

Kyoya then spun on his heel and drove his right elbow into Genkishi's gut.

The swordsman was sent flying back.

Beep, beep!

Kyoya blinked.

'.....Ah....the earpiece.'

The ravenet lifted his hand and touched the device, accepting the cal--

"KYOYA-KUN!  WHAT THE HE** ARE YOU DOING!?  YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BEAT GENKISHI-SAN INTO A BLOODY PULP!"

Kyoya didn't even flinch at Tsuna's loud voice.

"......."

"Don't give me that silence.  I have my Hyper Intuition so I know what you're doing."

".......I'm bored, Omnivore."

".......Kyoya-kun.......just....uuuuuuuurgh!  Just do what you did before in the past--I'll spar you as much as you like when this is all over, alright?"

"Keep your promise, Omnivore."

Kyoya smirked as Tsuna sighed exasperatedly.

"Yes, yes.  Now just go."

Kyoya smirked and reached into his pocket, bringing out another box weapon.

He lit his ring and inserted his flames in.

There was a flash of purple before Roll appeared.

"Roll, Reverse Needle Sphere Form."

"Piii!"

Genkishi finally got up once more in time to see a giant sphere of purple light heading his way.

The swordsman had to shut his eyes in order to not get blinded.

When he sensed that the light died down, Genkishi opened his eyes and widened them in surprise.

He was inside a dome....that had a sky and a few clouds drifting by; spikes decorated the sides.

Kyoya stood on the other side of the dome, walking towards Genkishi slowly.

"Here...Dying Will flames are not allowed.  And the air is limited."

Genkishi narrowed his gaze at Kyoya.

"...In other words...you're saying that one of us will be left standing?"

Kyoya merely smirked as he raised his tonfas up; he shifted himself into a ready stance.

Genkishi scoffed.

"...There is no need for me to use Dying Will flames anyways.  You are unfortunate to face me."

Kyoya bent his legs slightly.

"Hoh?  Is that so..."

The skylark's smirk widened slightly.

"Then give me a fight worth my time."

Genkishi scowled at the taunt and pulled out all four of his swords, standing on top of the two he couldn't hold in his hands.

"You will regret your words, Cloud Guardian."

Kyoya merely ducked down as Genkishi suddenly soared over him, swinging two of his blades at the spot the skylark once stood.

Genkishi landed and threw one of his swords at Kyoya, which the ravenet blocked with his tonfa.

Kyoya stepped back when a blade swiped at his midsection; his back bumped with something.

He saw the two other blades Genkishi wielded--they were trying to block off his escape; Kyoya mentally rolled his eyes.

'Like that would work.'

Kyoya flipped over the two blades, grabbed the hilts and used them as leverage to send a double kick to Genkishi's jaw.

The illusionist winced slightly, but he quickly regained his footing and lunged at Kyoya, stabbing at air as the skylark flipped safely out of the way.

Genkishi jumped onto the hilts of his last two swords.

Genkishi felt a bead of sweat run down his temple; he narrowed his gaze in concentration, already noting that he was getting out of breath.

'....This is.....the power of the strongest Guardian.....'

Kyoya yawned as he twirled one of his tonfas.

Silver-blue eyes flitted over at Genkishi.

"I haven't got all day, herbivore."

Genkishi ground his teeth before putting on an impassive face.

"Hmph."

The illusionist-swordsman hooked his ankles around his third blade and fourth blades.

Genkishi did a cart wheel as he attacked with all of his swords.

Kyoya crossed his tonfas in front of his face and blocked each blade.

The illusionist-swordsman kicked two of his blades at Kyoya while charging at the skylark.

Kyoya deflected the blades before ducking under a cross-swipe from Genkishi.

Genkishi flipped over at Kyoya while changing the grip on his swords; the swordsman stabbed downwards at Kyoya's back.

The skylark released the chains in his tonfas and lashed out, surprising Genkishi, who crossed his blades to block the attack.

The illusionist skidded a few meters away from Kyoya.

Kyoya then sensed that his time was nearly up; the ravenet sighed softly, dropping his guard as he slowly approached Genkishi, who raised his swords up with slight apprehension.

'What's he doing?'

Kyoya continued to approach carelessly; Genkishi narrowed his gaze and attacked with all of his swords.

Before they could hit, Kyoya smirked.

"You're not even a good warm up for my younger self, herbivore."

POOF!

Genkishi widened his eyes with surprise as a giant cloud of pink smoke obscured his vision.

When the smoke died away, Genkishi noticed that the dome was gone and Kyoya was no where in sight.

The illusionist flitted his gaze around in confusion.

"Hn.  Herbivore."

Genkishi whipped his head around to the familiar, yet different, voice.

The swordsman blinked with surprise at the sight of a teen Kyoya standing before him.

'.....He turned into....a younger version of himself...?'

"Hibari, Hibari~!"

Hibird fluttered in the air and settled on Kyoya's head.

The skylark glanced up at the bird before sighing, reaching up to pluck Hibird out of his hair.

"Little one....it's too dangerous right now.  Go find Kusakabe and stay."

Hibird gave a chirp of acknowledgement before flying away.

Sshhhh...

Kyoya glanced over at Genkishi and found that the other had aimed his sword at him.

The illusionist was frowning slightly, speaking out to confirm his thoughts.

"Who are you?"

Kyoya dusted the front of his clothes before looking over at Genkishi with boredom.

"Hibari Kyoya."

Genkishi hid his confusion as he studied the teen.

'....Is this some sort of plan made by the Vongola?  If so....I must not hesitate to kill him.'

Kyoya watched as Genkishi charged at him; the skylark out his tonfas.

"I'll bite you to death for disturbing my nap."

The chains quickly popped out and Kyoya whipped them at Genkishi.

Genkishi side stepped before sending flying blade-attacks at Kyoya with his Mist flames.

Kyoya retracted his chains and jumped over the attack, flipping in the air before landing behind Genkishi.

Kyoya then grabbed the purple box on the ground.

The box glowed and merged with the purple bracelet the skylark wore.

'Hello, Roll.'

'Pii!'

'Box form, please.'

'Piipii!'

Kyoya's bracelet glowed and turned into a box.

All of this happened in a matter of 0.035 seconds while Genkishi's back was turned so the illusionist wouldn't know anything.

"Kyo-san!"

The teen blinked and turned his head to the door on the side, finding his second-in-command carrying Ryohei and Hayato.

"....Kusakabe..."

The second-in-command sweated.

'Kyo-san's a teen!  What happen--!?'

"Kusakabe."

The said man snapped to attention.

"Hai?"

Kyoya lit his ring up with Cloud flames and the wind kicked up around him.

".....Take care of the Sword-omnivore and the Rain-baby."

Kusakabe quickly darted his gaze to the said unconscious people.

"H-Hai!"

Kyoya ejected his Cloud flames into the box.

Roll came out, acting drunk.

Kyoya nodded at the animal; the hedgehog cooed softly before suddenly going berserk.

Kyoya jumped back with feigned surprise as multiple spike balls appeared in the area.

Genkishi also retreated; he heard his earpiece activate.

"Genkishi.  I need you to intercept Sawada Tsunayoshi.  Leave Hibari Kyoya.  They will be captured soon."

Genkishi glanced at the mass of spikes before turning away.

"Understood."

Kyoya, Chrome, Kusakabe and the unconscious ones were finally trapped in a small room, which was slowly shrinking--about to crush the group.

But the walls stopped short and knock-out gas filled the tight space.

Kusakabe fell first, but Kyoya and Chrome were still up and about; Lambo crawled out of the backpack and hopped onto Chrome's shoulder.

"Yare, yare...what do we do now?  We're pretty much immune to this stuff."

Chrome reached up and gently ruffled Lambo's hair.

"Lambo-kun...you wanted to nap, right?"

The child blinked before grinning lazily.

"Oh yeah~!  Well, g'night!"

In an instant, the cow-child fell asleep.

Chrome chuckled softly and cradled Lambo in her arms; she looked over at Kyoya who sat down and leaned against the wall, shutting his eyes.

"Going to sleep too?"

"Hn." (Such boring opponents.  And yes, I'm going to nap.)

The two Guardians' breathing evened out.

Looking at their peaceful expressions, Chrome also fell asleep.

<<(With Tsuna)>>

"Tsuna...Now your Cloud, Mist, Sun, Rain, Storm and Lighting are captured.  Are you positive about this plan?"

Tsuna chuckled and looked at the hologram-Reborn on his back.

"Oi, oi!  I've heard this question so many times already!  Trust the student you've taught, neh, Reborn?"

The hitman snorted and tugged his fedora down to hide his expression.

Reborn then noticed that Tsuna was slowing down.

"Tsuna?"

"He's here."

Reborn looked over Tsuna's fluffy hair and found a large skeleton in purple armor.

"....Is that...?"

"Ah.  Genkishi-san."
